I've always been a Yamaha drum guy. I ever owned a Yamaha Stage Custom Birch in Sapphire Blue and Cranberry Red. My kit is as big as Neil Peart's kit

Hey make sure to check your edges with a flash lite inside on a hard flat surface such as a granite counter top. These made in China kits as awesome as they look do NOT have QC on their edges. I just bought this kit in Natural finish on Saturday and I have to take them back bcuz the edges are so uneven that I could not tune a pro Remo head on any of the 3 toms. When you have to over tighten just to get a fair tone or that old school jazz tone then that’s compensating for bad edges. You should be able to get a beautiful tone just past wrinkle.
