In the behind the scenes featurette for this episode, the writers referenced the Boar on the Floor game to something Stalin did with his advisors. He had a dinner party where he'd be drinking water and they'd be getting drunk on alcohol and he'd just look around the room to see who the rat is. For reference, ATN is like Fox News while Pierce's PGM is like CNN or MSNBC... a more liberal slant. Any sort of news monopoly is obviously frowned upon. The fucked up thing is I think Roman genuinely did like the deal and was trying to get back into his dad's good graces but it blew up in his face. Watching this show for the nth time with you guys just makes me appreciate Kieran Culkin's Roman so much more. I already enjoyed him but it was a bit more surface level. I think you guys really get Roman as a character.
Stalin also made his dinner “guests” watch Hollywood movies and afterwards forced them to listen to alternative music…all while they were piss drunk and puking.

For me boar on the floor was Succession’s transition from very good to great 😂 a crazy, cringy, delicious feast
It's interesting how just Greg telling Tom thank you and Tom responding by silently just putting his hand on Greg's arm for a second, probably the most growth in both characters. They were both SEVERELY put in their place.

If anyone had just done that, "F off Logan, this is bullshit, I'm out and you're all pussies!" and walked, THAT person would be Logan's new best friend.
What I love about the biography plotline is that we, the viewer, are able to see their entire lives. We are watching somthing they desperately do not want us to see. Especially in the documentary type shooting style.
From Logan pissing on the floor to all the expensive private jets and parties. This show doesn't demonise or glamourise these people. It just shows them as human, and it does such a good job at it. And they would hate it!
These people in power do not want to be seen like this. It makes Logan look weak and touchable like this. Just think if Logan and his family saw Succession, this would be "bad optics" for them despite just showing their lives.

You guys are my new favorite Succession reactors, and I'm glad to see that you love the show (and are tearing through it; I hate waiting 7-10 days between reactions 😊). I can honestly say that Succession stayed consistently good through all 4 seasons, maybe even got better each season. You're in for quite a ride, enjoy!

Tom cheated FOR Shiv. It was not on his mind at all until she TOLD him to bang someone at his bachelor party, remember he was very hesitant, and then she immediately held it over him DESPITE her also cheating the same weekend AND after their marriage.
No good side here but definitely bad and worse sides. His ambition is to be whatever SHE WANTS. Her ambition is to be with whomever he is not. They both need to leave each other. They both deserve one another.

@@lalaland121.Technically he didn't "cheat" at his bachelor party because they weren't married, and, knowing Tom, I doubt they discussed being exclusive while they were dating. 2. He hasn't cheated since they were married because, 3. The prenup has an adultery clause that'll screw him, but not her.
