That was beyond good . No fancy lights or props just exceptly good musicians doing what they enjoy to do and all them looked to be having a good time doing it .
Mockingbird is a 6-string. Literally the name of the guitar is The Bitch! Ten strings not 12! Johnny played it on a 6-string firebird! The best rock and roll song number one! I'd call Armageddon number two! Then Rick's original done on the 10-string with the extra fire is what separates the two!
I like that so they were more like a gibson guitar when the necks were solid necks and not bolted on. I'm a gibson guy 1st and I like fender but I always wished that fender would have done some with a solid neck. I never was much of a rickenbocker guy or a gretch guy but there is a couple certain gretch guitars I'd like to have tho. I have also always wanted a B.C. Rich mockingbird and a bitch those 2 guitars that B.C. rich made were my favorites. I also love Jackson and kramer If I want to play something that is more like a strat body that's what I'll grab I have a few jacksons
I fiest "met" that nerdy bassist on the ED sullivan Show as Humble Pie/ with Carmen Appice/ counting off his beats by twirling- I always liked bassists and drummers with style...
1983...second one...original was a benefit at The Palladium after our Truck was ripped off - loaded with all our road gear...Ted n Carmine weren't at that one, but Edgar, Dr John, Hal l& Oates, Ian Hunter, Todd Rundgren, Leslie West & others - most returned for this Ritz show....

Cat Scratch Fever is a f*cking great Rock & Roll song!!
I love the BC Rich Mockingbird Guitar Derringer playing the neck is one piece of wood not bolted on the 70s BC Rich Guitars were very good.
So was the one wave that I used to have one piece boy do I miss that guitar! I probably played in less than 10 hours to!
It's called a Bitch it's not a Mockingbird!

I am blown away by the background vocals!
Rest in Peace Alan Merril and Benji King....... superstars still.
This is just pleasing as can be.
Uncle Ted is awesome....
If you know the song beyond the universe by Rick Derringer, that is some excellent guitar work he does. Derringer in my Top 10 of guitarists.
A few of the all-time greats right there
This is an out n out GEM
Never saw this one before, Rocks!
This is about the time Ted lived on McCain rd. In Jackson Michigan.
"Party at the hotel"...one of Derringers best
That and "I Play Guitar", "Shake Me", "Just Wanna Dance" - from "Good Dirty Fun" album of 1983.
Both Rock&Roll Hall of Fame snubs. It’s a shame
Rick's SUCH a cutie!!!
The VHS concert kicks butt
Oh yeah!!! And Karla DeVito too!!!
Awesome
My god. Look at all the people you know at this.
Gooooooöd!
Wow, back when concerts were concerts. All American Boys. Rick wails.
I DONT KNOW IF TED IS
R & R HOF WORTHY BUT RICK DERRINGER CERTAINLY IS 🎸
This is Cat Scratch Fever
My 3rd player? The young crazy Nils Lofgrin/ Grin Live- he and his 23 year old v=bro playing the others' guitar with their teeth.

@Duffgordon9005: Why you may be thinking of Vanilla Fudge who played Ed Sullivan show....
Rikki dont lose that number...... wonder if he ever used that #, and had a time with Donald Fagen
Of course he did. Show Biz Kids, Chain Lightning.
Little Ricky outplays, outsings Ted and his guitar sounds better. Then follows Ted's vocal with a drug and party song, Lovin' it.
Goodness Gracious!!!! Not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!! LOL.ROCK ON TED.
What was the date on this?
Looks like early 80s hard to say guess we can all Google it lol nice falsetto Teddy!

It's Carmine. Saw him several times
Tim Bogert
@@grasscarpets One of my all-time favorite bassists! RIP Tim!
RNR HOF has no credibility. Don’t waste your time on it.
Did he forget to bring a Byrdland?
bro i've been trying to figure out what guitar this is for weeks, do you have any clue what it is?
@@bubbasawyerr I thought it was a Byrdland sure looked like one :-) Peace
Exactly...not sure but resembles a Epiphone Thorogood model but could be something little more exotic...early 80s and all
@@jimiplayscobo5877a byrdland would have a knob lower right corner.
@@bubbasawyerrmy friend will know...
Who ever told Ted he could sing on his records should have his tounge cut out. Love Rick...so much talent in so many ways.
Ted's guitar isn't sounding very ted nugent it makes it sound like it's being played wrong
Derringer had to lower himself to Cat scratch fever.
You had to show you're a dumfuk... Everyone makes choices🤷♂️
R+R Hall of insemination
Rick darenger is good but he ain't ted nugent good sorry
Lawdy Momma, light my fuse. Rick is ten times the musician. Ted is great too.
