Jolynn, Brad & Rykyr spend another day in Homer Alaska. Jolynn takes off for some shopping then later gets attacked by a seagull. The day ends well though as Brad, Rykyr and Jolynn leave for Halibut Cove on a boat to have a lovely dinner and hike. Wow! I lived in Halibut Cove in 1960, it sure has changed. There was a one room schoolhouse there that year and most of us (13) went to school by boat unless the tide was out and we could walk across the bar. I'm not sure, but I believe it may have been the only time there was a school in the cove.

That's crazy! It's my understanding that much of it is in a family trust now. It sure is a beautiful place. You are so lucky to have lived there.
