Love that "Brittany bounce." No other pointing dog has that style in the field.
I know exactly what you mean.
Beautiful! This reminds me of walking through the fields with our Brittany. I'm not a hunter, but that didn't stop her from flushing out a pheasant for me a few times!
Wonderful video. Bella the Brittany Princess hunter/Killer Approves.
i live in pa also and have a brittany his name is Bow we are getting ready for pheasant hunting this year
Love watching him sweep
Love Brittany's. Had dogs all my life but 1st Brittany (Epagneul Breton) has been a total revelation. Boundless energy, totally affectionate, just wants to please and be working.
High time we stopped docking tails !!
I love Brittany dogs.
I love fishing.
I've hunted pheasants in Michigan for 40 years and learned a few things from an old boy I met in the field years ago. Train your dog on a whistle and use it sparingly, don't talk or yell at or call your dog unless absolutely necessary, pheasants have excellent hearing and if they hear you they'll run. If possible hunt into the wind, not because of scent but it helps with the noise that you and the dog make. Today's pheasants have become more human savy over the years, hunt them quiet ( no car doors slamming and quietly load an chamber your gun) and you'll see more birds.
your dog looks like it hasn't been trained
Thanks for your input.
There are American Brittany and French Brittany. There are no Brittany spaniels

maybe he bred a Brittany with a spaniel. like a labradoodle or some hybrid. because there's no bred called Brittany spaniel.
@@tylerjolley9792 Allow me to add some history. The breed was called the Brittney Spaniel until 1982 when the AKC felt they were more pointer than setter. The fact they point, flush, and retrieve did not impress the AKC . No hybrid, but they the offspring of English Setters (1600's when Englanders came to Brittany to hunt and had to by law leave their dogs behind, could not return to England with them, and they mated with the indigenous dogs of Brittany.
Actually, all Brittney's share the exact DNA, parse the titles as you will . . .
