Your talent as an actor with a rich range of feelings on your expressive face leaves a deep mark on my soul every time. All films have been watched, all voiceovers have been listened to and there is no falsehood anywhere, everything is so sincere. How is this possible!?
This is a great clip of one of the best characters in tv, so well portrayed, I don’t care for the historian buffs who say it’s not 100% accurate, flint was a man that has portrayed the battles any human can go through, to have everything taken from you, to become a monster to inact a revenge but to be aware you’re a monster that the viewers love because he was a good man doing a bad thing for good reasons. An amazing show with a great mix of everything with some fantastic dialogue. I am sorry to see the show didn’t get more series. Let’s hope the producers pull there finger out and re release this show all over tv in order to release treasure island.

This is unbelievably AMAZING. I LOVE IT! If I were to criticise anything, it would be the long blackouts. I think you used them to separate the three archs you presented in the video, but I feel they were too long and perhaps not even necessary. Because of the way you edited the scenes, you can see the progression without having to separate them. But this is just my opinion. This is awesome either way and maybe you just liked it better like this.

You didn't notice that a lot of people who were follow to this captain are dead because Flint - kind of person who will sacrifice people for his ambitious?
He was a real formidable character, I'm not glad of some of his actions, but he was an excellent sailor and naval officer, look how professionally valued the gunnery needed to attack the fort at Nassau. It's incredible how the RN lost such an excellent officer, only for bigotism about his bisexuality (about this the ancient were superior, said by a ultra straight man)
I really like it, must have been hard to edit, good job pal! If u allow me to add some critique, it's this: in my opinion the focus should be on one speech at a time and the cuts in it could show some scenes leading to that moment or conseguence or execution of what he said. EDIT: for example the darkness speech is mixed with the last speech between Silver and Flint. It can relate but I feel like it is less impactful. Maybe its only me ^^

Even if selfish, there was an unyielding passion for justice in Flint, and that's what I identify with the most, even the parts where he betrays people that trust him thus betraying himself.
Replace your idea of homosexuality with a purpose, whatever that is. His, was to get back what was stolen from him, a wrongdoing that shouldn't happen. Imagine now the world suddenly having a huge shift against not being religious, that by all means you must believe in a God chosen by them, that you are to obey and worship a thing that for you does not exist and that your freedom to choose is taken away. That's what it was for him. Justice for freedom of choice. Why do you think in Nassau everything was allowed? Everyone can choose their life. Obviously this brings to surface other problems, like criminals, thieves and so on, but the essence of the series shows exactly that.
Crazy....it's one of the best shows ever ever made....and I'm a huge show buff....this is easily top 3 of all time.....1. game of thrones....2. Vikings.....3. Black sails....4....Into the badlands....5...The Last Kingdom
