The Layover album by V is amazing. He loves R&B and jazz and the old style of songs. It’s so different and refreshing for a young man from K-pop to do songs like this. He is incredibly unique

He’s a baritone but can sing in that higher register brilliantly. So impressed
V's entire album is brilliant! Very cohesive musically, but each song is unique and has his distinct signature. His voice isn't something that you ever get tired of listening to because it's so deep, warm and just so relaxing. Highly recommend you to check out his Tiny Desk concert to get the full jazz vibes of his album. It'll be the best decision you'll ever make. 💜💜💜

Also, not only is V into old jazz music, he is into old technological gadgets. I don't know if you saw the old tv's in this one. Rainy Days has a lot, and Slow Dancing. All the performances of Singularity emphasize his eyes. In BTS stage shows he knows exactly where the camera is, and even uses it while the singers/rappers transition.
Speaking of acting, V was in a k-drama called Hwarang. It's a historical drama with all the classic elements and is funny too. When you are sick of posting and reacting, just chill and watch some evening. 16 episodes , an hour each, bingeable.

Yay V is my absolute favorite performer! Don't get me wrong I like all of BTS but V has an amazing voice! And I'm going to give you a couple that I would love to see you check out if you want by V "SINGULARITY" LIVE this really shows his dancing and also his facial emotion and how he puts it out there as far as his expression. and also "STIGMA" LIVE that shows how he can go from very low to extremely high he has a great range vocally it's incredible you will see. You talked about his eyes. In his live performance of "Singularity" where he began by lying in bed, he simply performed with his eyes and the audience went crazy with every glance.
V is an amazing actor. He recently acted as the male lead in the MV for "Love Wins All" by IU (a very popular and beloved singer and actress in Korea). Their acting is phenomenal and has brought people to tears.

Yes! V’s Tiny desk Korea is wonderful but if you’d prefer MV’s he did 5 of them for his solo album and although I love every song on the album, For us is my favorite! Also love Still life by RM, Amygdala by Suga, Arson by JHope, Set me free by Jimin, 3D by Jungkook, and since Jin hasn’t released his solo album yet, Epiphany by Jin. There are also many solo songs by BTS members that were included in the BTS albums Reflection by RM, Interlude: Shadow by Suga, Airplane by JHope, Lie by Jimin, Singularity by V, Euphoria by Jungkook, and Yours (kdrama OST) by Jin.

Would you believe that this beautiful guy applied for the toughest military unit (counter terrorism) for his military enlistment, and got in? They are all rocking it, but V surprised us all. His whole album Layover is super classy and has the old soul feel. It's very him. If you have a chance to check out his lives from it, do it. Slow Dancing has a stunning MV as well, it's a title track from the album. His latest work, a single Friends is lush too, especially live. I can not choose just five tracks for members solo works because it all depends on the mood at the time, but they are all quality music. 💜💜💜
I Love this vulnerability he’s showing in his layover album. It’s fully acknowledging feelings, desires, he’s sitting with the emotions and is so IN it. I like that a lot. It feels healthy to fully accept the own feelings and not rushing out of it.

Taehyung is really a chameleon in looks, and a jazz-R&B-er at heart. Smooth and velvety, don't you think? Soothing as well. I would like to harken back to the days when Taehyung - or stage name "V" - sang "Singularity". It was awesome - typically V's style. That song was part of an album by BTS as a group, where off and on, you would get a solo or two within the group album. Yes, please think of reacting to V's "Singularity" as well, please. V is known for his eyes and facial expressions. He is also an actor..(He's acted in a drama series). He is a very kind, thoughtful and unique member of BTS. He's also unpredictable which can lead to some hilarious moments. 😅

You can just listen to V with your eyes closed, or you can open your eyes and enjoy it even more) It's incredible. The most mysterious among BTS, the most romantic, and unlike any other. I really like the group and him in the group, but I love him solo no less.
Finally you've found V. There are many layers to V's songs. a reactor said V's do good at coding in his music. And yes they are very open and vulnerable.

Top five solo songs: Love Me Again, Rainy Days,Slow Dancing, For Us, and Blue, not in a specific order. Basically it’s all the songs in LAYOVER by V. All kill album listen to them daily and several times a day. The again I love all of V’s songs. Recently I had to add FRI(END)S also by V. He is so talented and unique. You would have never known these songs came from a member of BTS or any kpop group. Love his voice‼️🫶✌️🫰🐯👑🐻💜♥️💜♥️💜
Choosing just 5 BTS solo song as favorites is very difficult! Especially since there are 7 members! :) Their newer stuff is obviously more representative of who they are now. But, I really love their old songs too. They have solo songs on several group albums. In particular - Jungkook's "Euphoria", Jimin's "Lie", Jin's "Epiphany", and V's "Singularity" are favorites. For RM, I think you should react to his new album that's coming out in May. And, for J-Hope, check out something from his recently released "Hope on the Street" album. For Suga, you should complete his song trilogy with 'Amygdala'. I also recommend you check out a purely 'rapline' song (i.e. RM, Suga, and J-Hope). Something like 'DDaeng' to being with. And, then a vocal line song (JK, Jimin, V, and Jin). Maybe "The Truth Untold'. It'll just give you an idea of their range as a group. Because they really do it all. Their music is so endless that I couldn't possibly give all my recommendations here.

Generally, I like j-hope and Jin's solo music best with RM really close behind. But they all have great music depending on your mood. My late night relaxation playlist is almost exclusively Tae, for example. haha. They have a TON of projects. The rappers have 3 albums each plus they all have several solos throughout BTS' discography and a TON of collabs. The vocal line is newer to solo music but they all still have one album each and they also have solos within BTS' discographies, OSTs, collabs and singles, too. So picking 5 is actually impossible. I can't wait for you to work your way through all their work. You'll see more layers of their artistry as you really dig in.
