When you say "... as I walk you through the steps and tips... " -- what on earth do you mean? Where are the "steps and tips" of how you're cutting the curves, in the first 3 minutes? There's audio, but absolutely ZERO subtitle, audio, or any other help for anyone to follow you to do the same?!?!? If I'd like to make one of these, there's NOTHING here for me to follow along and do so. Sorry: I REALLY don't like to criticize, but this is just kind of show-off, without taking the time to be HELPFUL -- and you CLAIMED in your comments you WOULD be.
Hey, thanks for the heads-up! I'll make sure to add more subtitles and clearer guidance in my upcoming videos so you can easily follow along and create your own masterpiece or I won't promise in the description that there will be detailed instructions.
@@LatheLegends (Sorry - my comment came off a lot crankier than I like to be, my apologies. I must've gotten up on the wrong side of the bed, and it's against the wall, as they say. :-) Apologies for the tone, and it IS a cool tool - kudos.)
WOW you call yourself "Lathe Legend" and yet while you are cutting you have a ton of squealing and chattering. A real Lathe Legend would know that iif you are getting either Squealing or Chattering that you are obviously cutting at to high or low speed plus you should be using some lubricant, you are going to end up hurting yourself when you break a tool or causing so much binding within your Lathe that you break some gearing or fry your bearings and then you will be "The Lathe Legend without a Lathe"
maybe include a level in the handle so you can see if you are tapping straight or crooked................
Good idea with a level, I'll think about how to put it in the handle!
Fantastic build. Use in concert with a Bench Block to insure perpendicularity.
I'm a big fan of the channel.
Your kind words mean a lot to me. I appreciate your support and I'm thrilled that you are a fan of the channel.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you found it awesome!
а как же пол оборота в обратную сторону сделать, что бы не сломать метчик?
Метчик специальный, для сквозных отверстий, со скосами. Стружку вниз толкает, можно не обламывать поворотами назад.
Liked and Subscribed. 👍

That thing is as atrocious as those clapped out machines. I couldn’t get a finish that bad if I tried.
It looks way better than your trash gameplay
Keep on trying! You'll figure it out eventually. You just have to believe in yourself and keep reaching for your goals!
