It's an old Lennart Clerwall tune, recorded by the Swedish group '1961' from their LP 'The Fabulous Sound of '1961''. It was released in 1981, with Ronnie Gustafsson playing the lead guitar.
Was listening this one few days ago Ian , it pop up as i was scrolling through YT quite a few versions on , its a lively LC tune , great instrumental enjoyed the listen, BTU 6 👍👍🎸🎸🎵🎵🎧🎧😊😊All the very best Dave.
Hi Dave, guess we both saw it at roughly the same time then. I hadn’t heard it until last week………. I had to have a look around to find someone playing it so that I could have an idea how the lead part was meant to sound. The rest is history.. @@alanpeters Evening Alan, thank you for your comments, (as good as ever) I came across the BT for this one by accident and thought “I haven’t heard this one before” …… did a bit of research and sure enough I found a couple of covers of the same instrumental. Had a listen, sat down with the BT and before I could get my second cup of tea down…… it was in the can…….. Glad you liked it too, a lively enough number for mid week without being to lively if you know what I mean, it fit the bill perfectly. My how the nights fhave dropped cold 🥶 C.H on permanent 21° now…. Can’t afford a cold. Have you seen the chemists prices these days. So, that’s the mid week instrumental dealt with, Sunday’s tune is in the can and on schedule to be released Saturday night, Starting to get organised at long last…………… love to you and yours…….. ( The man amazes me ) his work always seem to take me by surprise………….it can’t be a new one surely ? So how come I’ve never heard it before ? Hi Phi, I came across the backing track for this one by accident, I hadn’t heard it before so I went on UA-cam to find how the lead part sounded. I found one or two different covers of the tune in question and decided to give it a go, This was the result, glad you liked it too. I have to say……. the Lennart Clerwall instrumentals keep cropping up all over the place, he has certainly written some material and still a lot I personally haven’t heard before, ( they can’t all be new ones surety ) anyway, I enjoy a Clerwall instro, they always seem to have a good outcome. My Saturday evening’s instrumental is on schedule on UA-cam ready to be released, I’m starting to get a little bit organised and in front of myself……….
