  • I know this won't be of interest to all of my audience but wanted to put together the footage for my fellow spoonies subs. The sound wasn't great on all of the speeches even if you were there but I felt like I wanted to include everything anyway. I just wanted as many people as possible to get a feel for what happened on the day.

Thank you for filming part of Millions Missing in London. I know only too well how exhausting it is to have ME and understand how hard it would have been to travel by train and across London when you have such limited energy. Wishing you better health.

Thanks Sophie for this video. There has been nothing about these events in my country at all that I have seen. It is good that their is more awareness in the UK about it helped by this sort of event, and hopefully the awareness will spread.

Sophie, Thank you SO much for going to the protest even though you were unwell - that was so selfless and kind of you. My Mom is over the MEaction Facebook group for our state (In the US) and she has encountered many people who are crying out for help. Thank you for being a voice. And as you know - I was loving that footage of Roundtree!! ♥~Maranda

I went to the protest in San Francisco and it was really lovely. Obviously it's just a small part of the work advocates do every day, but awareness is hugely important and it was great to participate in that as well as be with the community.

Thank you so much for being able to get out and protest! I really wish I was able to go to my one in Bristol, but unable to leave the house (well bed most days). I'm trying to save for a decent wheelchair atm! xx

great video, wish I could have gone. The amount spent on baldness still shocks me, I know what I would rather deal with

Hi Sophie, Thank you so much for the effort you put in for us! My partner went down there representing me as well and between the two of you I feel I have a good idea of what it was like there. He came back so angry about those statistics!
Your journey home sounded like a proper nightmare, I would have broken down too!!! I am glad you eventually got back home safe. Please please rest! I cant imagine how exhausting that day must have been for you!

There just aren’t enough free public toilets in London. I think Whitherspoons, Pret and Starbucks have stickers on their front doors if they welcome people just to use the toilets but most places force you to buy something before they let you use theirs. No toilets on public transport either and on rare occasions they have them, you need to have very specific coins with you!

Excellent video ... I would have loved being there with my spoonie fellows... obviously, I was in México. Hoping one day... this expression of disappear will cross the Atlantic.
