Interesting video Steve. Just wondering if you can share the criteria you use in selecting jig head weights ie 1/4 once verses 1/6th or 1/8th ounce.

good question mate, there are a lot of variables, If i am fishing between 2-5mtrs mtrs at cambells cove and not a lot of wind / drift then a 1/8 ounce will do the trick, once the wind picks up and we are drifting say more than 1knt, then the 1/4 ounce comes out, just so i can hold bottom.
Corio bay is different again, when i fish around the quay and north shore rocks, I will use a 1/4 ounce as we are fishing 8-10mtrs and i want the lure on the bottom at all times, If I go in the shallows then I may go down to a 1/8. Then hook size on those jig heads will depend on the plastics i am using on the day too.

Bugger! What was the fish you caught at the end? I was waiting to see what it was and the video ended. Thanks, great video. I'm going to try that spice mix. Sounds delicious
