I was there for 3 weeks recently and it's a great place to be. The Barbecue looks legit and walked past that place but just didn't make it in to eat, my loss. I am an Omnivore and as I have gotten older I know how important it is to eat more vegetables. I was surprised how much I enjoyed eating at Roots, a vegan restaurant only 100 meters away from Country BBQ. I have no intention of becoming a vegan but I love variety, and good food is good food. Where are you visiting in Texas? I live in Dallas and give you a few suggestions if you want. Safe Travels.
Yes it’s very cheap here for cost of living - Danang has a good lifestyle, for a single man many options

I wouldn’t make the move without $2,000 USD. If you’re my American, you not gonna like the viet lifestyle. All my Viet boys back in the states say they couldn’t live off $2,000 (51M).
I’m in Da Nang now. It is easy to live on $2000pm. I eat in Western restaurants everyday. Party every weekend.
Do they have a big sex industry in Da Nung like Thailand or Bangkok???
