My fellow TPIR fans, it is with the utmost sadness to let you all know that Robert William “Bob” Barker, the beloved 35-year veteran host/executive producer of The Price is Right has died a little over a hour ago at the age of 99, just four months shy of his 100th birthday. Rest in peace and paradise, Bob Barker (December 12, 1923-August 26, 2023) “Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered.” Goodbye, farewell and Amen, Bob. 😭😭😭

I remember that Kyle Aletter was substituting for Janice way back then when I was a kid of 14. I wish that I could go back to those years when my life was less stressful then.
hey i noticed the different theme of tpir in clip its the same theme but i notice the loop wasnt in this version of the theme anybody else noticed the difference.

Personally, they should've changed the font entirely on the credits in order to keep up with the times. The 1980-1996 credits looked very tacky. I would've wanted the font to be like that of "Too Close for Comfort" or "Treasure Hunt" from 1980-1985 and "Late Night with David Letterman" from 1985-1989 "227" or "Who's the Boss?" from 1989-1992 and "Saturday Night Live '93" from 1992-1996.
Janice Pennington was absent at the time of that taping. She was injured. Kyle Atletter-Oldham, daughter of "Barnaby Jones" co-star and alum Lee Meriwether, filled in for Jan.
