- Welcome to this video featuring railroad crossings on metro! These are very prevalent on some lines, especially the A and E light rail lines, which have dozens of railroad crossings. However, having crossings does give trains the right of way and keeps trains moving quicker, so its a nice medium between grade separation and the waiting for traffic lights. That South Pasadena crossing probably has the most arm gates on LA Metro. Kind of cool to see them all coming down.
