Meaning of the song: When they had the funk vibe, it's basically saying to be positive during COVID-19, and all the hardships we're facing will get better. When they have the trap vibe, they're basically saying to anti-maskers, get back in your house, follow the rules, and don't be stupid, or else we going to come for you and put you in your place like they don't care :D It's a COVID anthem that I would listen to song
I still can't believe my favorite Kpop group came out with a banger of an anti-COVID psa for their 15th anniversary comeback lol.
I HEAVILY recommend looking at the b-sides of the album, regardless of whether or not you do a review on your channel. Every single song is a straight hit.
I do love the song - but that "trap" middle part still catches me by surprise (reminds me a little of Momoland's Boom Boom rap break). TBH, if it was any other group but SJ I probably would hate it, but it's SuJu so I say, Whatever it works.

@@vanessawen8017 Absolutely - the "Bohemian Rhapsody" of Kpop (although check out TVXQ-BoA-Traxx epic song and mv of Triangle for an even stranger song - not including some terrible hairstyles, including Changmin's Statue of Liberty hair). I always loved the song and MV, although I know it's divisive by kpop fans. Btw, if you ever saw the IGAB teaser (which was at the end of their Dancing Queen MV), you'll notice that Sunny's baseball cap is blurred out - that's because it says "Motherfuc*ker" - and SM didn't notice for years (and it didn't blur it until several years later). Topp Dogg's Amadeus is another song that has a really strange middle section (dubstep).

House Party is like the fusion of SMP (SM brand of songs with heavy beats and social commentary lyrics - the trap part) and SJ's own brand of fun, funky, good vibes sound. It's amazing! Genius!

Talking about their long career, SUJU is really amazing. Not long after their debut, half of the members got into a serious car accident where Kyuhyun still suffers as to today.
They took a lyric route about the pandemic with a funk vibe that everybody needed to hear & jive with.
And nobody else thought of doing it in that direction.
Blind-sided everybody & did another "First".
The choreo vibe felt like a mashup of previous song choreo like Black Suit, Sorry Sorry, etc (in my opinion).
Trap section looked like all went through military training & came back.
This is their Regroup & Come-Back.

Gosh! I didn't know you guys also react to kpop and to SuJu. Woah! I couldn't be happier. I'm a fan of the 1st and 2nd gen and a bit of the 3rd gen as well. I'm a Shawol but I love SuJu so much too.
