This song is everything I love about kpop. Super fun, not taking itself too seriously, a completely unexpected switchup in genre in the middle of the song, and a legit message behind it.
The only sad thing is that a lot of newer fans won't give it the time of day just because it's Suju.

If it gives you any hope on the last comment - I'm only 3 years into KPOP and don't really know Super Junior - this is my first experience! I randomly decided to watch and I LOVE it. I do know Shindong because he did a video with Victon and I thought he was honestly amazing so that pulled me in to checking this video out to! :)
@@Sarcastic_Sara I'm glad you like it! A lot of people don't like Suju because a good few of their members have done/said some questionable/problematic things in the past. There's some things that even I can't honestly say I've forgiven them for, but that doesn't mean I can't still like the group as a whole or enjoy their music now. Nor does it mean I think they stand for some of the things people accuse them of.

this year is my 7th year with suju im so glad that i saw magic mv in high school and fell for heechul at first sight i want nothing more than suju to get all the love and support they deserve!!

@@oliverhughes610 Aw, please don't say such things without examples so that people can form their own opinion. It gives the impression that everyone feels that way, but not everyone does, esp not international fans. Morals differ among cultures.
I usually find pandemic-related songs cringy but this is a definite exception.
Yes most of them if not all I find them as a joke but this one is different they're serious it's a fun serious song 💙

Here's a small summary of the MV:
Donghae is apathetic at home. ALONE. And then he turns on the TV. From now on, we're watching TV with Donghae.

Our boys come in to tell us we're all tired of being stuck at home but the pandemic is not over yet, so hold on a little longer. You are not alone in this situation. They are all different people, from different shows cheering Donghae up, whom by the way is STILL ALONE

Heechul came in hot to tell us to keep our a$$es at home. Or we gonna die. Corona is watching you like a sniper. But if you stay at home you can dodge the bullet (since it seems the bullet only grazed Donghae's arm) Here they are portraying the seriousness of the situation

We see Donghae laying on the couch. Still apathetic. STILL ALONE!
He sits up and looks at the TV. Heechul shows up and tells him to get up. Cheer up! We see the boys around the table celebrating. Their happiness makes Donghae happy. You can see Donghae is not drinking. He's only watching the celebration. Because he is ALONE! He's watching it all on the TV!
Suju says: Stay at home and vibe with us. We have cake.
So the message is: We may be alone but we don't have to feel lonely. Super Junior is here for ELF

With that long ass delayed and waiting period... I was expecting something beyond epic to outdo their last album which was golden in itself. I loved The Melody, Raining Spell for Love, Burn the Floor and Tell Me Baby. But then Super Junior said you thought we were done... hold my microphone 🎤 and dropped House Party. The teasers didn't do it justice because this shit was on another level. Once again Super Junior set a bar that no one will be able to reach. As you said another 20 years for these Grade A Top Shelf Quality Oppas. Super Junior will always be THAT GROUP... the end goal the textbook for everyone else.

@@ninam4423 That bad, huh? Lol in Canada stores have only been open for a few weeks since the last lockdown but we're planning to have ANOTHER one after April break (the break was almost cancelled too). I'm pretty discouraged at this point. Luckily suju me rend heureuse.
@@taeblends oh wow lol for us the stores are all closed except for the food and essentials things but the problem is that right now we are at 40 000 cases and the government doesn't want to close the school or even put a lockdown.. That is so embarrassing..
@@ninam4423 Holy crap that's a lot of cases. I mean, the sad thing over here is that some people still ignore the lockdown even if we have one, which leads to the continuous spreading of covid. Of course it helps bring the number of cases down a bit, but once restaurants etc. open up again the cases start rising.
I really hope that this virus will just suddenly dissipate into nothingness so that we won't have to worry about it anymore.

When I first heard the song and switch up, I was also like, "Damn, that beat sounds good, and they went hard on that vibe." Then, that lyric "Keep it
mask with no mess up please." I played this song a few times more, just for that particular lyric and hard switch up. I mean, that entire part was FIRE!!!! And, the song has a nice late 1990's rhythm, that is shining another light to how the world is different now, but eventually we will get through this darkness. It is also wonderful to always see groups who are more season, and have been around in the industry for a long time.
