i mean youre kinda not wrong, but i can see this being good in low elo where every game is 40 min. Probs better just to ignore heartsteel or get it second in favour of stride.
Nice video! As someone playing Sett myself, I have a few suggestions/comments: 1. Taking Shojin's 12% dmg increase for granted is a big mistake, imo. Q does not proc the +3% increase, so realistically in a fight you will get 1 stack from E and 1 stack from R. So a 6% increase is more realistic to use in the calculations. 2. Obviously, for maximal scaling you should go heartsteel first, but as Heartsteels scaling HP gain scales with Item HP, not max HP, buying it later is not a big hit to it's HP growth. I would strongly recommend buying it 2nd or 3rd instead, as Sett really only becomes a champ after he buys som AD. 3. It should be mentioned that Stridebreaker is still a great option, even for mathematically correct Sett. In terms of W dmgs it has same AD and only 100 less hp than Titanic, and it's active actually helps you hit your W. 4. One last item-consideration is Warmog's armor. It would be interesting to see, how big of a damage loss Warmogs is compared to another AD item in the build. Warmog's passive is perfect for Mathematically Correct Sett's playstyle: You go in, W when low, retrat and heal, and come back to fight again. Considering this, my suggested Mathematically Correct Sett (with some compromises) would be: Stridebreaker -> Overlord's Bloodmail -> Heartsteel -> Steraks -> Shojin/Warmogs. EDIT: Correction: I just checked, and Shojin's damage increase also applies to the spell that gave the stack. So R -> E -> W would give a 9% increase on W damage (but still not 12%).
1. Since Q stacks Shojin twice, after one rotation you reach full stacks. The 12% is also a theoretical maximum, so you don't have to reach it every time. 2. Heartsteel first maximises your stacking rate. Again, theoretical maximum. It might be better to build something else first, but I don't wanna. 3. Stridebreaker is better in almost every aspect for gap closing and the extra AS, but I like Titanic for the quick waveclear and HP scaling on-hit. Also, theoretical maximum. 4. Warmogs reduces the damage by about 100-500, depending on which item you remove. Theoretical maximum. I don't play this to win, I play this to make ADCs regret waking up.
@@Hylofear One more information. Titanic is also supperior to stride in this build because it gives 1 shojin stack with its active. So you can get 4 stacks without ult and before using w. Q 2 stacks e 1 stack titanic 1 stack. I'm also a sett main and have to agree with bobby. getting close to enemies without stridebreaker and hullbreaker is A PAIN. marskann get an insane amount of movespeed and you litterally have 0 movespeed in this build. so i think losing 500 or even 800 dmg on w to have an overall better build with the meta build is sacraficeable. because you still get 3k dmg easily and one shot adcs with the meta build
I liked the video, informative, well made. Just to clarify, if someone asks why dont you just go this over the meta build? Its pretty simple. Sett is slow asf, he cannot catch anybody, that is why you go stride and hullbreaker. And hullbreaker works well with your passive and q aa reset, and stride just gives slow and a lot of ms.

You should try this with Bel'veth as you can pretty much build her with anything
4:50 for the build
I love you
great vid, good editing and stuff
This video is so well made!
Played league for 9 yrs and thats my first time i know grasp stack health
if u have videos of you playing him with this build upload it please, thanks
Amazing video! followed by a dumb question. Would this work as sett mid?
Yes it would! Max Q first so you can catch your lane opponent, but build as normal. The laning phase doesn't matter too much for this build.
1 shoting people with setts 2 is my fav thing
Have you thought of making a video about Kesha?
is that TEKKEN 7 music at 6:30!?
Hullkbrealer has the best stat value, i recommended build this item on math sett
can you do a mathematically correct volibear build plz
What if you build shadowflame? Would the true damage crit outweigh the stats brought by a different item in the sett build?
it's like watching deep league without the weird ass sexual undertones and him not gaslighting you into joining his pdf file server
Excuse me, what? Have I been living under a rock?
@@Hylofear I was joking when I said pdf file server but from what I remember, deep league was the one to coin mathematically correct sett and leaked the build to other youtubers to promote his own channel. He eventually made the video about it after it got fixed and then uploaded a weird video saying to "stay around for the beats or just me, daddy deep" while he explained how you should join his discord server to be read "bed times stories" in his VC. The whole video had a creepy as shit sexual undertone that no one called him out for the time from what I remember.
i do not remember this. I do know he made the OG math sett build tho.
what about shadowflame damage increase
Would be interested on how you did the math behind the build
In the description I put the link to a spreadsheet I used. It calculates the maximum damage a Haymaker can do with a specified item build, and includes all relevant passives and effects. You can make a copy of the spreadsheet and mess around with it yourself to find a good build if you like :)
Why would you not show the Haymaker at 5:22 in the background? That set up looked like you were booting up the Obliterator
I think if you want to run that build as a viable option, replace titanic 2nd for stridebreaker 2nd or 1st and 2nd heartsteel, and overlord 3rd
I wish more build guides were like that. I wish i knew what to build Viego, his items are all over the place.
Absolutely gonna give this one a try!
I wonder how many grasp stacks does it take until it becomes more valuable than fully stacked conqueror? I tried going grasp, but it always feel like I do less damage than just going conqueror.
My tip is if you are in heavier AD team comps and need to sell boots
Go Deadman's Plate. It'll allow you to at least chase someone down
Mathematically Correct AP Nasus
Keygen church in background music ?
