Now this is the commercial I remember seeing on TV back when it aired (and I only remembered seeing it once or maybe twice) because of not just the Elvis snowman, in which every time I hear "Blue Christmas" I think of this moment, but also because of the bear in the stocking ornament singing Nat Kin Cole's "The Christmas Song". And yes, I think back to that moment too when hearing this song. I really liked hearing the Christmas samples on the commercials and now I listen to them on the radio every year. Thank goodness I found this one as the other versions of this commercial I saw here omit the ornament.
I’m 29 years old and I’m still excited for Christmas. But I do agree that to an extent it’s just not the same especially on TV. There’s no good commercials anymore there’s no good shows anymore it’s just not what it used to be to that extent. Everything else I still find wonder and joy the lights the decorating the baking you find joy for Christmas where you can get it.
@@kagomefan112 Good on you! I do the same, or at least I try... but yeah, thankfully they still show the 3 classic xmas commercials such as the Hersheys bells!
I loved this commercial YEARS back! I always couldn't wait until it was on again! I love 1:30-1:49 the best. I always remembered it by the mouse on the tree, and the Elvis snowmen. thanks!
I remember this commercial when I was 2 or 3. This brings back good childhood memories. Blue Christmas is the first song I've ever heard by Elvis Presley.
actually, supernerd, i animated, directed, produced, lit some of the shots, shot the entire thing in my own studio and programmed all the motion control. so there.
Wow, you directed this?? Awesome!! Actually, whenever I hear the Nat King Cole version of "The Christmas Song" I think of that little ornament singing at 1:40. So well done for having that image stick in my head for over a decade. :)
I wish I could get (Now That What I Call Christmas). I was 8 or 9 years old for watching the commerical somewhere on 2004. The Christmas Songs are my greatest treasures in my lifetime I understand the true meaning of Christmas with family & friends. Elvis Presley is my singer.
These commercials were on when I was about 9-10. It seemed like there was a new one every Christmas for about 3-4 years. I always enjoyed them. I wish they still had a new one every Christmas but I don’t think anyone listens to CD’s anymore 😂😂 .
Well, some people still do listen to CD’s, like me, even though I am 23. CD’s are now usually listened to by older people. Obviously not always, though.
Oh my goodness. I’ve been trying to track this commercial down FOR YEARS!!!!! All I could remember was the bear in the stocking with a deep voice and no one knew what I was talking about. Finally found it.
Since I'm an Elvis fan, my favorite part of this commercial is like Frosty the Snowman when the snowman comes to life after the little girl puts the guitar in it's hands.and looks like Elvis from the 70s and starts singing Blue Christmas.
I remember that commercial when I was 5 years old because I was born in July 1996. In addition, that album is still here on iTunes. Go check it out also make sure that same album was released in 2001.
yeah i remember this airing on tv back when i was 8-10 years old back in the day and just now i randomly decided to look it up. I always liked the Elvis snowman (Which is actually what brought me here in the first place)
@Austin Nebbia Omg me too I think of this commercial so much when I hear Christmas music! Just goes to show how much of an impact things can have on you when you're a kid :)
Sebizzar i agree. Actually this wasn't my childhood memory but it was close to it. It was now that's what i call christmas volume 3 commercial in 2006. I had it recorded on my vhs tape but it broke and i already threw it away like an idiot. Im still sad about it and would like to see it again and i never found it online. It would mean everything to me if i could have it again. :(
This 2001 U.S. commercial is about Now That's What I Call Christmas, the first holiday album of the NOW music series & it features 36 holiday songs on two CDs. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

I miss these days, advertisements were so much more memorable.
I loved watching this when it was on tv, now I watch it every year as tradition.

Thank you for directing this and sharing this on UA-cam for us to see this once again. This has truly touched our hearts of our childhood
Watching this commercial as a kid I remember thinking at 1:49 that Santa was on his way and it got me so excited. Those were the days...
☃️🎄🎁🎅🦌😥💜
this brought tears to my eyes thank you and god bless
This commercial was part of my childhood. I remember it well.
I love the Nat king Cole portion of this commercial. I thought that clip was part of an entire music video for that song. Lol
Since I'm an Elvis fan, my favorite part of this commercial is like Frosty the Snowman when the snowman comes to life after the little girl puts the guitar in it's hands.and looks like Elvis from the 70s and starts singing Blue Christmas.
This was a wonderful part of when my childhood ended. Not being sarcastic. It's a great memory. Thanks for posting.

Oh this was such an important part of the holiday season for me 🥰🥰

when I was little I thought this was a commercial for a film not a music cd compilation lol
2 more days until Christmas and tomorrow's Christmas Eve.
Matthew Austin ok
I personally wish you actually directed another one that was Halloween themed.
the elvis snowman had me laughing my ass off!!!!!
Do you know the name of the voiceover? He did alot of stuff in the late 90s-early 00's
I'd like to know too, I definitely remember that!
Featuring songs 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 18 of disc 1 in this commercial. No tracks from disc 2 played.

What is the name of that song that the reindeer was singing
If you mean at 1:38, that's *The Christmas Song* by the great Nat King Cole :)
