PTSD is one of the worst fear causes in the world today or otherwise. I suffer from it and so does my father when we lost my mother. But we keep trying to move ahead and we have made progress mainly because me and him are in it together. United we stand, Together we fall. He helps me and I help him and we will always do so. Our friends have helped us greatly too. The one thing about PTSD is no one can over come it alone and you need help at times to see what to do next. I nearly lost a friend over it but he was trying to make my life better not hurt me and we've since become greater friends and I've moved past one block thanks to him.
I don't know what it's like to suffer or feel PTSD. But I'm still sad that my Grandfather passed away. I still remember it. And I think my classmate might have PTSD too because his dad died in an accident. I was even sad when while watching Avengers Infinity War I saw Spider-Man disintergrated into dust when Thanos snapped his fingers, wiping out half of the humanity. And I even felt sad that Stan Lee died on 12th/11/2018. But I hope you will feel better. And so will I. 😉

I too suffer from it after a car crash that killed my mother-in-law, my partner and I were in the backseat of the car. We went 80 miles an hour into a stone wall and destroyed a power line at the same time before flipping upside down. We were both fine, but she died. We actually think she had a heart attack before the crash as we were talking and chatting like normal and then she went quiet and was non responsive just before the crash.

Henry and Gordon's character development was indeed amazing. henry shouldn't let the death of a negative engine change his views about being a really useful engine. henry is always a strong and determined engine who is okay to be concerned about safety while being a really useful engine on the NWR while working along side his friends

ThomasSirHandel So true. While Henry does get scared, he’s not supposed to be a full-blown coward like what the show has been portraying since the HiT Era. In the Classic Era and RWS, he only gets scared if the situation is scary itself. Example, when he crashed into that goods train while pulling the Flying Kipper, he had a reason to feel scared since the signal and frozen points made him go on that line and he was unaware that the goods train was waiting. It was natural that Henry felt nervous after that accident as he thought it was going to be the end of him, but thanks to Sir Topham Hatt and William Stanier, Henry was given a second chance at life with a new stronger body that was able to cure his steaming issues once and for all. Henry knows that it’s OK to be nervous, but isn’t afraid to be brave to get out of a bad situation. A true meaning behind his title as the “enterprising engine”.
Nichole Williams and ThomasSirHandel remember when he got scared to almost wetting the tracks when he saw Alfred’s ghost and when he saw Arthur’s ghost the midis first engine on sordor and when Timothy the ghost engine and when diesel 10 made Henry poop

Very nicely done! I'm glad Henry got over the fuel incident, and he really showed his bravery when he decided to take the fuel train even though his driver and Sir Topham Hatt said he didn't have to.
RichmondCityRailfan Bravery was always what I saw with Henry. While he does get nervous or scared on occasion, he manages to overcome it, and during the time he had in his old shape, he often got worried about failing because of how badly built he was. But it was thanks to STH that Henry knew he had hidden potential which his rebuild was able to finally achieve, and saw him become a more confident engine.
I was - I suppose - that! Brave. I had to go into a hospital for a hospital operation, last October. I was scared then. Almost did a 180° Hard about and went back home. Henry's experience with the fuel tankers is a very similar fear. What convinced me to go through with the operation? T1E2H3!? Well, it was a hymn that was recorded by someone at Wells Cathedral, by it's choir! " I, The Lord of Sea and Sky " And that convinced me to go through with the operation. In the end - it turned out to be a life saving for me. Giving me 15 or 20 more years of life. If you ever do a sequel story to this. Please feel free to use MY story in it. I'd like to be the one who helps Henry with his phobia, putting it to rest. Stephen Farthing is the name. Consider the permission given.
This was a great episode, henry is such an inparation to me, he battled against medical obstacles and disorders and still goes on strong, he as a character helps me go through life with my bad asthma, that is why your series with henry is amazing to me, well done mate👍
I can relate to Henry because I’m terrified to be alone but outside my house. A long time ago, when I was a little younger, I got lost at a laser tag and I was freaking out. I did freaked out when I was alone sometimes.
It reminds me of Sorø accident in Denmark. It was in 1988 The train was heading towards Copenhagen, but under the ride the train had to switch track. The driver didn't slowed the train down so it ran off the tracks, over 70 person was hurt and 8 died and 8 seriously hurt. It is one of the most known train crashes in Denmark's history. Even though I wasn't in that crash, due to the fact I wasn't borned yet. I'm not afraid of riding in trains, but I always prepare myself for the worst to happen, is that a kind of PTSD?
I like how you didn't make the wimp of Henry character forced that was clever and probably difficult. and I thought Edward was gonna get into an incident with fuel tankers and Henry would work up the courage to save him. And the first flash back of Alfred being a dream.
LoganDuckThomas#1 Best I would have loved the story done like that as well, but at least Henry decided to be brave and pull the tankers despite both his driver and The Fat Controller saying it's okay if he didn't want to. Goes to show that Henry is never afraid to face his fear or give up.
The beginning of this episode really struck me. Whenever something bad happens, I️ always think of what worse thing could’ve happened. Henry’s reaction to the tanker incident really connected with me. Also a nice variation of the Worried Henry Personality in the modern era.
You are a legend t1e2h3 this has to be the best episode you ever made it talks about real situations that happens to real people, the tv series should learn from you.
But let’s not forget how he returned as a ghost and not only that but he was really jealous about Henry and Gordon he was afraid to be replace he’s a coward no he’s not a coward he’s a traitor to sodor
This is a very good episode! I relate to Henry a lot in this episode, I have had some traumatic experiences in my life that sometimes come back to me, the episode made me feel a lot better.
When I was 15, I saw a girl of my age dying in an accident under a bus. Her last scream was terrifying. And I watched this film just a few days later. It was a great help.
I needed to see this! I'm scared of driving after having lost my future mother-in-law in a car crash. And I'm facing this fear by going out driving tomorrow!
@@RWSfan2024Or snow. I've always had this theory about Henry having PTSD of his Flying Kipper crash in winter episodes like "Ho ho snowman" and "The beast of Sodor". The crash wasn't his fault due to snow freezing the signal and points but when it's snowy on Sodor Henry acts more cautious when working.
i always liked your series because you knew how to use each character and make a good episode about them i especially like that you know how to use henry and incorporate him in to stories about him being other than sick
West coast Keyboard I've mastered the ability to mimic nearly any male voice I hear. Be it DarthWill3 as Alfred or Spencer, or T1E2H3 as any of the characters in his series.
This my second time watching this episode now, I feel its time to give my two sense on it. This is as good if not better than your Neil episodes, the topic is excellent subject matter. Its something so many of us can relate too, and using Henry for this will brilliant as he what i would deem as the most human esk in behaviours of all the thomas characters. You made a great point of talking helps, and most say its the road to recovery once it starts. If i were to make any changes to this episode, it would of been to use gordon, as given he experienced what henry did with Alfred, he would of made it far more contextiual to his past. Overall this is a fantastic thomas story as a whole in the community let alone your series. I feel you have found a real niche taking quite sensitive subjects that many avoid, and blend them beautifully into the world of Thomas. For that you deserve alot of praise. A suggestion perhaps for a future project could be looking at a darker side of railway preservation, do all engines who get rescued surrvivie or get the happy ending ? Or end up being used as back ups and spare parts for more better condtitioned engines instead of being fixed, or how living a life on static display is mentally for an engine. :) hope this helps.
I can relate to this. I was afraid of loud noises for the longest time because of a train at the Maine narrow gauge railroad that approached a crossing while my back was turned to it when I was a toddler. I only got over it recently.
This episode is great, but also realistic. A lot people do suffer from problems like this and it does remind them of traumatic experiences like Henry, good job on this episode.
Alfred made Henry felt disappointed,he should retire from Sodor so that he shall not bother Henry of what he is doing.Look at Henry,he is sad of pulling those flammable tanks.
this is amazing Henry is my favorite character because he's most relatable I've made stupid mistakes and learned from them like Henry staying in the tunnel and Henry going on strike. some days I just get unlucky like with Henry's kipper crashes. sometimes I've struggled in life and people think I'm just looking for attention kinda like Henry's coal issue. but overall I mean well and will never give up like Henry.
2017 Legend , indeed Henry is a truly inspirational character. I too can relate with him. I would rather see him portrayed in the CGI series as he was in the Railway series books.
Legendary Captain I always saw Henry as this character who is brave but also learns from experience. Like you said, his tunnel ordeal because he didn’t want his paintwork ruined was a huge mistake he made, because the soot from the tunnel ended up spoiling his paint anyway. He has had misfortunes like his Flying Kipper crashes. For example, when he crashed into that goods train, he was very shocked and confused because he was pulling the Flying Kipper so well because he wanted to prove himself as a really useful engine. He always wanted to be a better engine and show his full potential, and his rebuild was able to grant that wish by finally allowing him to function like a normal engine. Super Rescue was definitely where his growth paid off, as he successfully managed to push two failed diesels and their trains, with one of the two diesels, D7101 aka Bear, becoming his friend. Henry Sees Red also seems to be an example of triumph, as Henry was called out to help with the Express despite still wearing a red undercoat, causing him to be embarrassed. He even had to shunt a failed coach from the train by himself, which he wasn’t originally pleased about, and then had to puff up Gordon’s Hill on his own without any help. He knew that the undercoat wasn’t the best look for him, but knew he had to get his job done, being rewarded with his proper green coat in the end. Stories like these show that if Henry feels like he’s been knocked down, he always finds a way to get back up. While he has had misfortunes with the Flying Kipper, he still pulls it because he knew the accidents were not his fault, but also because STH knows that Henry is the most trusted engine for such a tough job.
I have a theory, whilst Crovan, Henry and Edward speaking Alfred's name, its like a "say my name 3 / 2 times. and because of that, Alfred was able to return as a demon / spectre
This is probably the best episode you've done yet, more importantly this is my favorite episode you've done man, it really speaks to me. I know several people in my family or family related friends that have PTSD. Dude your episodes have really been awesome lately and each one always excites me to wait for the next one. If you ever need help in future projects please contact me!
Dragon Zilla I think he has, and like me and many other fans he's pissed at Mattel. Henry and Edward were such great characters and they're being forced out for stereotypes in a stupid attempt to get more girls and people of colour watching.
They're being removed from the main Steam Team, and not the actual series. Even so, the fact that Mattel thinks that the fanbase is going to support it, they are dead wrong.
This one is sadly relatable. I have several phobias from events that took place in my Early Childhood to Mid-Childhood. But there's one thing that's different with PTSD and phobias. It can be treated but never cured. As anything that reminds the person of that memory that caused the person to avoid such things will cause them to relive the memory in front of them. When it's not really happening.
I can imagine Henry's fire liter comes out and lights his fire and the shed randomly get involved into a flame, nothing else, just the engines are all okay and they are just covered in ash. Henry looks at Edward, and says,"you jinxed it."
2:43 why does Henry have to be so angry, negative, dumb and rude to Thomas. He’s called him a fool, dammit! It’s not his fault! He’s the number 1 engine so everyone should treat him with respect! He did nothing to Henry!
LOL you must be hearing things because Henry never called Thomas a fool. Also, have you forgotten that he just escaped an explosion caused by the fuel tankers? So his reaction is justifiable.
@@armorpro573 i dont care if he called him a fool or not but thomas did nothing to him even if that happened he should still be nice about it because thomas was just trying to make henry feel better. trust me i'm not hearing things so you should stop trying to act like you're better than everyone else. you're not
@@ellieandronansvlogs7081 Didn’t say I was better. Regardless of that irrelevant tangent, Henry was hardly being rude at all. He didn’t snap or tell Thomas to get lost. He was simply recovering from the incident and just responding with a “No duh” comment. But if you still persist, then I guess I can’t change your viewpoint. Later.
Also Henry not just you who have a fuel tanker caught fire James also shared they same incident as yours and also like you he also survived and plus his didn't explode.
I thought Henry had the right to be scared of The Tankers because Alfred was trying to kill Henry and Gordon But Alfred Blew himself up instead and I think Alfred was a monster and he should burn in Hell because that’s where he belongs definitely not on sodor
Brick Bro05 I would love to see a story like that, considering how much Gordon and Henry have learned from their experiences. It would be interesting to see how Alfred will stand up to a Gordon who learned to keep his ego under control, and of course the now much braver and stronger Henry.
Daniel Buth I would love to see a sequel, and see how Alfred's ghost reacts to the fact that Gordon and Henry have learned from their experiences and thus have become stronger as a result of their friendship.
Holy smokes bro I just realised, you predicted John Oliver's "Henry the Freight Train" 6 years before it happened... either that or they took inspiration from you but cranked it up to full Michael Bay style

Are you Ok?
@@McMalarky yea I’m good! Yourself?
Great continuity and writing and you make Henry very relatable well done man
I can relate to Henry because I’m terrified to be alone but outside my house.
I don't think so because you weren't in the crash in Denmark. Who knows?
That is called being paranoid, it happens to me too.
Another beautiful episode that dives even more into Henry's character, who is one of my favorite characters in the series!
Ironically, a Sodor Fuel tanker was the first goods car I got for my Bachmann Henry. (Except for a brakvean)
The beginning of this episode really struck me. Whenever something bad happens, I️ always think of what worse thing could’ve happened. Henry’s reaction to the tanker incident really connected with me. Also a nice variation of the Worried Henry Personality in the modern era.
You are a legend t1e2h3 this has to be the best episode you ever made it talks about real situations that happens to real people, the tv series should learn from you.
anthony n. And with the show now becoming pretty much dead, we need fan content more than ever!
This is pretty much the message The Old Bridge tried to make but failed in the progress
Oh god that flash back to that one episode in NWR tales when Alfred lost his temper
James Stavola NWR Origins Episode V: Disgrace of the LNER.
Hyper Sonic 256 That wasn't the only thing he lost. He lost his sanity as well.
Alfred is by far the #1 most psycho character in the Thomas1Edward2Henry3 era!
@@joshdoz9234 ain't that the truth!
But let’s not forget how he returned as a ghost and not only that but he was really jealous about Henry and Gordon he was afraid to be replace he’s a coward no he’s not a coward he’s a traitor to sodor
I love how calmly Edward says Homicidal Maniac. 😆
This is a very good episode! I relate to Henry a lot in this episode, I have had some traumatic experiences in my life that sometimes come back to me, the episode made me feel a lot better.
If only the model series had these moments.
When I was 15, I saw a girl of my age dying in an accident under a bus. Her last scream was terrifying. And I watched this film just a few days later. It was a great help.
Man, feel bad for you
beautiful episode like always !
I agree, this is great :)
That is great
I think I also liked this!
By way about Edward tell us about life of events story for Henry
You also liked these scene of Edward talking with Henry?
I needed to see this! I'm scared of driving after having lost my future mother-in-law in a car crash. And I'm facing this fear by going out driving tomorrow!
This is a good episode because in nwr origins Henry is helping Gordon get over Alfred now it’s Henry who needs gidence
When Edwards telling Henry about ptsd, the song that plays is called adagio for strings, by Leonard bernstein.
I think Henry is more afraid fuel than rain
Fuel is understandably scarier than rain
@@RWSfan2024Or snow.
I've always had this theory about Henry having PTSD of his Flying Kipper crash in winter episodes like "Ho ho snowman" and "The beast of Sodor".
The crash wasn't his fault due to snow freezing the signal and points but when it's snowy on Sodor Henry acts more cautious when working.
This is an amazing video. The story line is one of the greatest you've ever made.
Once again, you've made another great episode!
I guess you can say that this episode started out with a
*BANG*
I'll see myself out.
i always liked your series because you knew how to use each character and make a good episode about them i especially like that you know how to use henry and incorporate him in to stories about him being other than sick
Poor Henry
I've always loved your Henry's voice
West coast Keyboard I agree. There's just so much emotion and depth that he put into the voice.
West coast Keyboard
I've mastered the ability to mimic nearly any male voice I hear. Be it DarthWill3 as Alfred or Spencer, or T1E2H3 as any of the characters in his series.
Max Medaglia that's cool
Thanks. I've yet to apply this yet.
Remember that one episode of the TVS with skaroley and the bridge? That's a PTSD episode
It's amazing how you think up such great stories like this! Keep up the great work ;)
This my second time watching this episode now, I feel its time to give my two sense on it.
The ghost of Alfred still haunts Henry.
(Repeated slow claps) Bravo my friend, excellent as always.
"You know what else is flammable? Fire." Dialogue as if written by Tarantino himself.
this is amazing Henry is my favorite character because he's most relatable I've made stupid mistakes and learned from them like Henry staying in the tunnel and Henry going on strike. some days I just get unlucky like with Henry's kipper crashes. sometimes I've struggled in life and people think I'm just looking for attention kinda like Henry's coal issue. but overall I mean well and will never give up like Henry.
Just like Candyman
I'm glad this man exists. Keep up the good work!
I think this might be my favorite (excluding NWR Origins, or the finale) engines of sodor episode
Have you heard about Henry and Edward being removed from the show next year?
Dragon Zilla I think he has, and like me and many other fans he's pissed at Mattel. Henry and Edward were such great characters and they're being forced out for stereotypes in a stupid attempt to get more girls and people of colour watching.
They're being removed from the main Steam Team, and not the actual series. Even so, the fact that Mattel thinks that the fanbase is going to support it, they are dead wrong.
Edward started the franchise and henry was also started the franchise
I like the cold opening, it adds more tension.
PTSD is very worse and scared
Later.
@@armorpro573 henry wasn't being very polite don't you agree? I understand what you're saying though
Think imma go watch that trilogy again, this episode reminded me of it.
Ah yes, Episodes 3-5 of the NWR Origins miniseries.
I can relate to Henry, I was in a nasty boat accident about two years ago, and I'm trying to get out of it.
Please make a ghost themed episode where Gordon and Henry face off against Alfred's ghost and take him out for good
Maybe as a Halloween special for 2017 PLEASE
So night express to vicarstown
Brick Bro05 I would love to see a story like that, considering how much Gordon and Henry have learned from their experiences. It would be interesting to see how Alfred will stand up to a Gordon who learned to keep his ego under control, and of course the now much braver and stronger Henry.
that was the best Henry episode ever! even better than the ones Sharon Miller wrote.
The TV show's writers should take cues from fanmade content like this.
Sharon Miller's episodes were complete and utter bullshit!
Max Medaglia I take that back. Mattel is now 100x worse than Miller!
That's not saying much....
Just as I "finished" binging the series.
Talk about Alfred's death
No.
No
Yes
Amazing episode, great job
I hope the next story revolves around Gordon and Alfred.
Alfred died during NWR Origins though
7:08 Wasn't he blue in the episode
He was green at first. But he ended up getting repainted blue as punishment.
should ant there be buffer cars between loco and tanker cars ?
Also i love your series they all have meanings isnt that what thomas is about to teach good morals to kids unlike most kid shows
A sepuel to Night Express to Vicarstown would make most scene as Alfred is being brought up many times.
Daniel Buth I would love to see a sequel, and see how Alfred's ghost reacts to the fact that Gordon and Henry have learned from their experiences and thus have become stronger as a result of their friendship.
Dude I’m really liking this stuff you put on UA-cam. Good luck on the next episode and keep up the good work.
Alfred tried to kill Gordon and Henry cuz Gordon coverd the LNER and Henry got the n.3
I like how you're using morals in your episodes and life lessons. I've learned quite a lot of them from you.
When is next part Night Express to Vicars-town coming out
Holy smokes bro I just realised, you predicted John Oliver's "Henry the Freight Train" 6 years before it happened... either that or they took inspiration from you but cranked it up to full Michael Bay style
Is that Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings in the background @8:00? If so, an interesting choice.
You've done it again Thomas1Edward2Henry3. Keep up the good work
Could you make another episode with Alfred in it but nothing spooky like in appearing as a demon

And exactly how he should be written
Is there a next episode like that
I feel sorry for Henry because he still remembers that Monster 98462 Alfred being blown up and Alfred did that because he wanted to kill Henry and Gordon but failed and blew himself up and I think Henry should start over
