***** I've been retired almost that long. I rebuilt my first C6 before you were born. It was on a 1966 P Code with about 6000 miles on it. They are good but nothing is unbreakable. Especially '88 Broncos : )
you all prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
Convincing. I've got a D-ring model. Hearing the tyres spin is enough to convince me I'll be ok if I have to rope out of my hotel room if SHTF. Thanks for the presentation.
Best belt by far. Unequaled quality. Best part is the company that makes them. Incredible customer service. They have a lifetime loyal customer. Not many companies like this around.
Wow! That is one impressive belt! Great review Bryan! You really put the belt to a test. Congratulations on the new sponsors! Quality sponsors for a quality channel :) As always, big thumbs up!
Like the fact that it's made here at home,, this belt would undoubtedly last a lifetime,, what a great job,Bryan,,, congratulations,,by the way on getting sponsorship. OH yeah! I'm getting one. I trust this guy folks.
I ordered me a two ply Klik Belt last week because of your video! I have been wearing it every day since then to hold my IWB and love it! Would totally buy the D-ring one if i had a use for it. Thnx for the great videos 😊
I have a riggers belt, it has velcro on it I dis like that part of it very much. See what happens if you wait a year or so new stuff. That looks like a very good belt and easy for using. And that rescue part of the belt looks really nice. Tks brian.
I'm convinced. I'll check'm out. I trust your opinion (that's why I'm a subscriber)and I hope you can get more sponsors. Every little bit helps I'm sure
Made in the USA. Exceptional value. What's not to love? BTW, always like videos that include the Bronco. ;-) Forgot to mention your Operation Christmas Child shirt. Great ministry that my family looks forward to participating in every year!
I see you are combining testing protocols by batoning the belt. Question is; Is it balanced? Very good review and testing. It looks to be an assume product. I am glad to see you getting some sponsors. Your integrity is why I am a subscriber.
I'm glad there's a channel like this on UA-cam. Smart gear reviews with America as a priority. Like I've echoed many times on this channel, Buy American!
WOW! reminds me of the old Second Chance body armor presentation where the guy would take a round to the vest to show it works... awesome belt and video
Awesome video!!! Hopefully the sponsors will give discounts to people who buy their product through you, like they do on other videos!!! Thank you again!
Just having one or two of these belts (D-ring) in the car or wherever would be a great addition. With two belts you could line secure with a buddy if you get into a precarious situation. Or loop one around the neck of a bear the other around a tree so he doesn't mess with the food storage. It'd be right nice of you to test that theory for us.
Its a emergency situation deal not a everday solution for safety rigging . That being said id rather break my back then fall 200ft off a cliff or something.
+jonnyboat2 HawgHolsters.com John is a great guy. I actually talked to him yesterday. He will give you a 10% discount with the coupon code SURVIVALINPURPOSE
Well Good Grief Bryan....your Bronco and mine weigh in at curb weight of over 6000 pounds, that's 3 plus tons of American steel. So...indeed....this was an extreme test!!!!! Most impressive! >;) And if you don't drive that Beast that Ford built much, just put it on a trickle charger to keep the battery up and ready. That's what I do.
Nope. It is just a tune I wrote and play on the guitar. I don't think I have ever heard the one you refer to but any resemblance tis purely coincidental.
so much Klik bat. lol jk. really cool belt, though I would like to see the a certification tag on the belt if they were to sell this as a trip belt. (I'd still want a full body for a fall. that looked uncomfortable to swing by)
If you live in a wet environment, swap out the nylon webbing for polyester seat-belt material. Nylon is highly absorbent and prone to mildew. Polyester dries rapidly and is mildew resistant. One other advantage (in polyester's favor) is the strength to weight ratio. Obviously you'd need to need to do some sewing, to match the former construction.. But maybe you'd rather not stitch it..? Maybe you see an advantage to carrying an extra long piece of super-strong, lightweight strapping..? Austria Alpin does manufacture all manner of buckles too. Some have slides on each side, leaving you without the need for a single stitch.. If you source your own materials, you can rebuild this design with some significant improvements.
Any belt anywhere that uses a genuine Cobra buckle uses a buckle from Austria. And how do you know where the nylon comes from? And have you ever tested a climbing belt this way? And the belt is made in Texas, which is about as USA as it gets. Why so negative? It is an excellent belt. Do you work for a competitor?
Nice video but the product failed me. The cobra buckle was operated on my duty belt and failed to hold after a few months. When I contacted the company they would not replace the item. So much for the lifetime guarantee. Not for Law Enforcement or the Military. Here is what the company said, “The issue you are currently experiencing is a result of corrosion from exposing the metal to water. Any item made of corrosive base metals should never be placed in water. Dry lubricant is the only safe way to lubricate metal components. The COBRA® also has brass release tabs which in combination with water and the aluminum alloy- in rare cases- can create galvanic corrosion. AustriAlpin offer the Nautic COBRA®, a stainless steel (noncorrosive) version and the GT COBRA® a polymer version. These are the only buckles safe for water. Thanks”
@@SurvivalOnPurpose Belt works fine. As I stated it was the Cobra Buckle that failed and would not hold. What good is a belt with nothing to hold? That is why AustriAlpin was asked to correct the problem. This information is provided as the buckle fails when exposed to water. AustriAlpin does not stand behind its product.
WTF purple shirt unfortunately I live in the communist country of California and if you are wearing purple that's flagging for looking for man on man action say it ain't so
Made me very nervous to see you messing with that belt under tension like that. I'm glad that neither you nor the Bronco transmission were injured.
+gone rydin me too

Your tension testing facilities rival your high tech balance testing facilities. Great video!
Thanks!
You are crazy to be near that belt under that much tension. I enjoy your videos and reviews; have you considered also posting your videos on Full30?
I am checking on that now. Thanks

+Rick AB. I don't like the Velcro ones either
Wow. Nicely demod my friend. While I've never used theirs I'm a big fan of cobra buckles. Thanks Bryan!
+Feral Woodcraft these are the most "user friendly" Cobra buckle belts I have seen. Plus they are made in Texas by some really great folks.

I try when I can. But I have to be honest, it is often hard to find budget items made in the USA.
Wow. You actually went near that belt under tension. Not a good idea at all, but you survived.
WOW! reminds me of the old Second Chance body armor presentation where the guy would take a round to the vest to show it works... awesome belt and video
yeah, I would not want to be that guy. But the belt is great. Thanks
9:11 lol you said youre going to beat it off
Came here to make sure someone made this comment.
As a crane operator I just want to yell get away from that load if it pops your dead. But I will say I love those belts well made I use 1 for my ccw.
Man you are really selling me on these belts especially this one.
They rock

Sure. Just wait right there
you should have opened the cobra buckle to show it still worked! I'm sure it did! That's a tuff belt! thanks!!
Next time! But it did work just fine. I thought I showed that but I guess not
What an awesome product. Thanks, Bryan, and greetings from Pittsburgh. Laura
Thanks Laura. Have a great Thanksgiving!
nice test.... well over the 4000 lbs it was rated for.... and still didn't fail
+michael knosp yep
Pretty awesome torture test of those belts Bryan. lol I don't think I've seen anyone put a tactical belt thru that. Klik belts held up great.
They are the real deal
Open the buckle... open the buckle... now... open it. I was waiting for it at the end to see if it survives too. ;-)
It absolutely survived. I guess I just assumed everybody knew how tough the Cobra buckles are. They are rock solid.
Cool belt and test. Thanks Bryan.
+RDLaw88 it was fun
Now that's a strong belt
Yes it is
Very nice belt. Tying yourself off at one point like that is a bad idea. You're asking for a broken back
+Luke Glennon I was REALLY careful.
Its a emergency situation deal not a everday solution for safety rigging . That being said id rather break my back then fall 200ft off a cliff or something.
Definitely the real deal
Awesome vid
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Would you bet your life on the cobra buckle?
I hope I never have to bet my life on any buckle, but I think the results in this test speak for themselves.
glad you did not kick the camera
Could I add some Quick leg loops to the belt???
Is the 10% discount still active from Klik Belt ??? Pete
I don't know. Try it and see.
You done belt bent your bumper. Maybe it was already bent. I like the design of that holster. Do you have a link for it? I'll check your comments.

Survival On Purpose Thank you Brian. I appreciate that. I really do.
By the way, I typed the code wrong. It is SURVIVALONPURPOSE
Do wear these threw my regular belt loops? What if the loops break?

+Charles Larson I need to do that
Realy liked the chuck noris fact xD
I had a lot of fun with those
good tests Bryan
+SCOOP DE DOOP I tried
Would like to see it battle against a S.O.E cobra belt .
Both are more than strong enough. Both are Made in the USA. I think the Klik Belt is easier to use.
Great belt, got a classic rigger belt for my military combat uniform. but this belt could work better in civilian clothing.
Yes it does Louis.
you want to put hooks down if it's to break it will pop the hook down to ground if it's Pont up it fly up and and you're someone or damage equipment
Good "point" Troy. Hah. See what I did there?
Hey look its under immense tension lets mess with it with the face right next to it 😂
Livin' on the edge ;-)
What if you weigh more than a full sized truck in park with your brakes on ? 🤔🤔 nice video !
+Daniel Cross Then you are a hoss.
Outstanding
Thanks
I literally LOL'ed @ the Chuck Norris fact...

I think BATMAN has that belt!
with a bat buckle

+Darkest Sky It is NOT certified nor do they sell it as such.
that's a beast!
+coolkid survival yep
Sorry but you dont need the buckle belt if your gonna put it on by taking the belt off the buckle when puting them on.

Don't go there. You are better than that ;-)
Awesome
+Marc Rhodes it is a great belt
Can't give you a thumbs up on this one because you went near a chain and and a strap with a heavy tension on them.
+landnnut I live out there on the edge.
That s no way in hell that will hold 6000 lbs no way and the part made in usa come apart hahahaha quality u r a funny guy
All that came apart was the stitching, And they lifted a CAR with one of their belts at SHOT Show in 2019.
$80 nope!

no
They make the tails too small, I'd rather an elite Survival systems
Aluminum is not for climbing it’s to soft of a metal. Don’t uses for climbing should be stamped on it.
I think it depends on the alloy. But ether way, this belt is not officially rated for climbing (or pulling vehicles)
Tons of climbing carabiners are made of aluminum. I'm not talking walmart cheapies, I'm talking real deal climbing gear.
sorry
No need to be sorry.
