Corrections:
1. The ZX Spectrum is pronounced "Zed Ex Spectrum", not "Zee Ex Spectrum" (Sorry)
2. Sophia is Maximo's queen, not princess (Thanks Clint!)
3. From Maximo's Senior Game Designer, William Anderson: "David Siller only gave the name to Maximo Ghost to Glory. I designed nearly 80% of the game and I still have all of my original game designs. Capcom Japan didn't want me to follow Ghosts 'N Goblins as a template, but I needed a hook for the game to be successful."

My favorite story from this series was from the mid 2010s. A few of my students complained that some of the games that existed on the old Nintendo were too basic and easy. So...I told them to beat the first stage of Ghosts 'n Goblins and tell me when they finish. The amount of aggravation and pain...I can remember that so clearly to this day.
That is amazing! I’m sure they’re all scarred for life now. 😂😂
That's a nice story. Todays "kids" often underestimate the old and rather simple games. In the most cases Videogames got a lot easier with the time and the graphics got better but as a kid of the 80's I prefer the classics - games like Demon's Crest for example. The 16bit aera was the best and most interesting time, that never happens again. I'm glad that I whitnessed it!
Tell them to do Bayou Billy and TMNT next
Two words: Instant Regret.
a guy in his 40s who could 1cc the game even put a money bet at some kids that were mocking the game in favour of cod. they only managed to reach the bridge.
The entire series is still great to this day, especially Gargoyle Quest 1 and 2, such forgotten and underrated games. Demon Crest is truly amazing
Could not agree more, they’re so good! I’d love to see a remaster/reimagining of the series someday.
I cannot state with words how amazing and awesome this documentary was. Over an hour of G&G material, i cannot ask for more.
Thanks so much, that means a lot! It was definitely a passion project and a lot of fun to make. I appreciate you watching!
I am how evee going to ask for more! We want more!
Indeed. Memories brings back it does.
Except you just did, with words.
that's not what a documentary is
I love Super Ghouls n Ghosts and Demon's Crest so much. They were the peak of the franchise.
They’re both such amazing games!
Good lord this is spectacular: thorough, inspired, concise…what an ABSOLUTE TRIUMPH!
Really appreciate the kind words and I'm happy you enjoyed it! I had a great time putting it all together, especially since I love the series so much and learned a lot making it. Thanks again!
Demon's Crest is one of the most underrated games of all time. I actually think it's the best in the entire series. The music and atmosphere is incredible.
It really is a great game! Certainly a shame it doesn’t get more recognition these days.
OK at first I thought "Over an hour??" Then I watched and I'm super impressed. An immense amount of research went into this. There must be thousands of key frames too ;)
Thank you for the kind words! I don’t often get many people commenting who appreciate the sheer amount of key framing involved in my videos so thanks for that, haha. It’s a lot of work, but a lot of fun too.
Thank you for making this video! GNG is one of my favorite game series, and I feel like it really deserves the same level of attention as something like Castlevania or Mega Man. This video does a great job showing why it's so important and awesome!
I could not agree more! I feel like it got a lot of recognition until the early 2000s and then it kind of faded from the limelight sadly. It’s been great seeing that it still has a small, but very passionate fan base. Curious to see if Fujiwara ever gets to do a follow up to Resurrection in the future. Thanks so much for watching and glad you enjoyed the video!!
Just finished watching through the rest, and awesome job with this documentary! I had no idea about all these other iterations of the games throughout the year passed the snes aside from Maximo and the psp, so it was really nice seeing how much the series really lived on (or attempted to) throughout the years, and the behind the scenes stuff to compliment it 😄
Ayyyy, thanks a ton Jo, really glad you enjoyed it! This video was honestly more of an excuse for me to do some deep research into series because I love it so much. A lot of the spin-offs are great too and worth a playthrough if you ever get around to them. Thanks again!
Sorry but the video you just watched was an illusion devised by Satan. You must watch it again from the beginning.
“Go Ahead Dauntlessly! Make Rapid Progress!” 😂😂
Such a fantastic account of a series I’ve loved since the 80s. Thank you so much for this!!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun putting it all together!
This was such an amazing experience, thank you for delivering this deep dive!
Thank you so much for watching, glad you enjoyed it!!
You deserve all the praise you are receiving for this wonderful documentary. Bravo, and thank you for taking us "down memory lane" while also raising awareness of this beloved franchise.
Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words! It was certainly a labor of love and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
The intro to this video is so good!! Best video and editing yet.
I gotta say I was a bit surprised on some of the information. I always wondered why there wasn't a N64 game, and I had no idea there were 2 phone games with new characters. I also didn't know Maximo was a spiritual successor to the game.
Great job man! Keep up the great work!!
Thanks man, I was pretty happy with how this one came out too! Yeah, the N64 game was news to me also and I'm still hoping someday we'll get leaked footage or an incompletely ROM dump of it. I could not for the life of me find the phone games anywhere which sucks because things like this really need to be preserved better. Thanks again for watching dude!!
Wow, excellent video! So well done and put together. This video shows me I have a lot to learn for my own channel. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much, appreciate the kind words! It's definitely taken time to learn how to edit and put these larger videos together so keep moving forward and going strong!
Congrats Chris for his efforts in honor of the most important video game in my own personal history. I have not started the video, but seems some magic around it. The duration, all the games covered. Everything seems studied and perfect. Now I am sure that someone on this world love this game as much me. I am going to enjoy each second. Thanks!
This video is Now a part of History of the Series!! Perfect my Friend!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!!
I played so much Gargoyle's quest on Gameboy when I was a kid. Fond memories. I always found GNG games to be infuriatingly difficult, but I enjoyed demon's crest a bunch. Props Chris for making your way through all of them. Great retrospective on this series, keep it up!
Thanks so much, glad you liked it! I definitely preferred the Firebrand games much more when I was a kid also since they were a bit more forgiving and had the cool RPG mechanics. Now that I'm older and a bit more patient though, I fell in love with the mainline games and began to appreciate the great design and concepts that made them work. I'd love to see a modern reimagining or remake of the the GQ series though! Thanks again for watching!
I loved Ghosts n' Goblins Resurrection. I got it on the Switch at release in 2021. I don't care if some critics didn't like it. I find these days I have to make my own judgments on games because it can be a very personal assessment.
The boss music in Resurrection is infectious.
Could not agree more! I've found as I've gotten older that my tastes often differ greatly than many of the journalists and critics covering games nowadays. I certainly am not influenced by review scores as much as I used to be. And agreed, the GnGR OST is really amazing!
Who cares about critics ( a hand of people mostly frustrated bored ) these days.
Excellent work as always!! Loved hearing about the decades long history of this legendary franchise
Thanks so much as always Corey, truly appreciate all your support!!
This was such a thorough and educational video. I love this series and it’s always fun to replay! Great job on this 👍
Thank you so much! It was a joy to put this together and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I remember seeing Super Ghouls & Ghosts as a kid and finding the graphics appealing but hearing the game was very difficult so I didn't play it until I was an adult. I like the series but I'm not very good at it. Great video and I'm glad to see you producing content again!
Super GnG is tough, but certainly doable with a little tenacity. I couldn’t finish it til I was an adult though with a lot more patience, haha. Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoyed the video!
Love the story of this game, I didn't know it had such a colorful history!
It was honestly even more interesting than I expected!
great video, thanks for putting it together!
Thank you, appreciate you watching!!
This video is incredible and pays homage to one of my favorite video game series of all time spectacularly, you go into so much detail and expand on what made this franchise not only so important but so much fun. Thank you for creating something for the small, but extremely passionate and talented Ghosts 'N Goblins fanbase to enjoy, CHALLENGE AGAIN!
Thanks so much for the kind words! This was definitely a passion project since I'm a HUGE fan of the series as well. It's been great talking with other fans and hearing everyone's stories and experiences with the games. Hopefully Capcom won't make us wait another decade and a half for another game, haha. Thanks again and really appreciate you watching!
Demon's Crest is one of my favourite games on my favourite system - the SNES. But, it's hard to get into it. It's definitely a rather hard and long game, especially the bosses. At least it has a password system!
Agreed, the first time I played it, I "beat" it after only a few bosses and was very confused. I didn't realize until later that there was so much more to do in the game. It's a lot of fun!
Ditto and my favorite of the 3 spinoff games. Always wondered why there wasn't a sequel which would've been so easy to do since Phalanx sealed himself in the crest of heaven or, if you will, time because of it being of Japanese origin "heaven" could translate to time.
Say a successor to Firebrand or humans had found the crest and unknowingly started something with Phalanx on the future, treacherous demon he was from the beginning he could prey upon them for help in being released. It could've went from there.....I'm only 2/3 of the way through the video at this point where Maximo was axed sadly and since DC I lost interest really.
I imagine they didn’t make anymore because Fujiwara left Capcom not long after DC unfortunately.
@@RewindArcade Sad but true, classic case of should've left well enough alone, probably would've gotten his time if he waited for technology to advance.
I remember playing it for days for the different endings, and when I 100% cleared it, I wasn't expecting a password, the infinite crest, and a brutal secret boss.
Amazing game... and that MUSIC!
This and Bionic Commando were 2 of my favorite games on the NES.
You have good taste! Bionic Commando is my favorite NES game of all-time. I did play a lot of GnG on there too though, haha.
Yes great picks! At least BC was beatable lol.
@@Nitecrawler82 And a much better game, on the NES at least, haha!
@@RewindArcade Facts! The arcade Bionic Commando is 🚮
@@Nitecrawler82 😆 very true!
That was an extremely enjoyable watch, all the more for a longtime fan of this iconic series.
Thanx so much for the high quality work.
Btw, Tim Follin's soundtrack for the below average Amiga port of Ghouls N Ghosts is absolutely amazing, kudos for mentionning this talented composer who was well known in the european computer gaming industry back in the late 80' early 90'
Appreciate the kind words, really glad you enjoyed it!! I'm a big Tim Follin fan so I when I saw he composed some of the GnG computer ports OSTs, I absolutely had to mention it in the video. His music is surprisingly very different from the original, but also still incredibly good.
Thank you ! I needed this!
Definitely, thanks so much for watching!!
Do you think David Siller would agree to sit down and show off and talk about his time making Maximo with you?
I've reached out to a ton of people over the years trying to conduct interviews and clarify facts, but generally no one ever gets back to me. It's been incredibly depressing and defeating, but when you run a UA-cam channel with less than 10K subs, I suppose it's not all that surprising.
@@RewindArcade I understand. that hurts my heart too.
Fun fact...the UK version of ghosts and goblins first end shows a picture of the weapon to find, a cross. The problem is that the cross wasn't in the game, it was the shield. Back in the day, I literally spent all day throwing in credits to get the cross, unaware that the shield I kept finding was the weapon I needed. Had to give up when the arcade closed.
Decades later, I learned the truth and finally finished it on my pandoras box.
Always have fond memories of that frustrating day.
Fun fact 2. Sony were cheapskates.
I used to work at GAME and as part of the job, Nintendo would do competitions for stores. The ten stores that got the most preorders on certain new releases, won a copy of the retail game for each member of the staff. I got a few games like Mario sunshine and eternal darkness that way. Sony got in on the act and offered the same with Maximo. I worked my butt off to get that preorder win. We did win. The games arrived and it was a promo version, the same as the multiple samples that used to get sent to the stores anyway.
I never bothered pushing the sony preorders as much. Ninteno did what Sony wouldn't.
Fun days.
I still have it!
WELL DONE ON AN EXCELLENT VIDEO!
Thanks, really happy you enjoyed the video!! I had no idea about the cross/shield issue in the UK version, that's really crazy. I wish I had included it in the video! Glad you finally saw it through to the end though, haha.
While that really sucks about what happened with Sony and GAME, it's pretty awesome that you ended up with a promo version that is probably way rarer and worth a lot more these days. Sony was certainly a much different company back then. I worked for PlayStation for a little under a decade (under the U.S. branch) during the PS3 and PS4 eras and was told that they became very different after the PS3's launch. Probably after getting their clock cleaned by the Wii and 360, haha.
These are awesome stories and info, thanks so much for sharing! And thanks for watching!
@@RewindArcade you got a preorder for Eternal Darkness? wow, the best game on the gamecube
@@germmanator I still have it....that and the sealed dvd teaser. That was the gamecube era. It was cool as I used to get the demo pod discs too. Only got one left after 20 years!
Bravo! Very well documented. I guess the ultimate guide to this franchise
Thank you, really appreciate that!
Thanks a lot for this work. This is my favorite franchise!
Thank you, appreciate you watching! It’s one of my favorites series too. 👍
Thank you for the video! Brilliant watch and reignited the urge to play the series again
That’s awesome, thanks so much for watching! It’s never a bad time to go back and do a replay of the GnG series, haha!
@@RewindArcade totally agree!. Now it's time to binge watch the rest of your videos and build a summer backlog
Fantastic video, loved every minute of it. Cheers
Thanks so much, happy you enjoyed it!
I'm glad you made this video, I was looking for something like this for a long time.
Glad you enjoyed it! This was certainly a passion project since I’m a big fan of the series. Thanks for watching!
This was one hell of a video and over an hour back to the past experience!!! thanks for such amazing memory!!!
Thank you so much, really appreciate the kind words!!
Just finished the vid! Your channel is great and this video was AWESOME. This is the kind of content I want.
Thank you, appreciate it! Really happy you’re enjoyed it.
You've unlocked another nostalgic memory from my childhood. Thanks G
That’s awesome, thanks a ton for watching!
Another good video . I’ll be checking even more of these out
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the awesome video and breakdown. Very informative. Have a great day
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate you watching!
Amazing video as always.
Very much appreciated!
Thank you, thank you! What a great documentary. Brought back a lot of memories including just how confused I was by the different names. You couldn't do a quick internet search to sort things out back in those days. Really appreciate what you did here, thanks again!
Thanks so much, happy you enjoyed it! I know exactly what you mean about the names being confusing. You either got your information from friends or gaming magazines. Very different time haha!
Great video! Watched it all the way through
Thank you, much appreciated!!
Very detailed video of Ghost n goblins . I really loved the video . Also happy to know, this franchise still alive.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! I’m a huge fan so it was really fun putting this one together.
Very well done, great vid! Please more like that.
Thank you so much! Hope to keep’em coming in the future. 👍
This is awesome, great work 👌
Thank you, much appreciated!!
Amazing work. Highest tier quality documentary! Thank you!
Thank you so much, really glad you enjoyed it!!
Great documentary and a great series of games! I love the editing I can tell time and love went into the making of this!
Thanks so much for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of work like you said, but I love the series so much that it was really fun putting it all together.
Great, comprehensive review! 👍
Thanks a ton man, really glad you enjoyed it!!
Dude this video totally took off! So happy for you and very well deserved.
Thanks a ton man, really appreciate you giving it a shout out!!
Amazing work, congratulation!
Thanks so much, really appreciate it!!
Fantastic history collective! Great job 👍👌
Thank you so much!!
I came across this as I've watched a couple of similar documentary type videos on video games. I found this very informative and it kept me interested until the very end. Great video!
Also tomba.. Did not know he founded whoopee camp. Such a great little series!
Thank you, really glad you enjoyed it! This video in particular was a lot of fun to make. And agreed, it was really interesting to learn that Fujiwara also created Tomba. Such an underrated series!
You out did yourself on this one! Fantastic presentation and great information. I always learn something. Glad to see this one is taking off, well deserved! Genesis Ghouls N Ghost is my favorite from this franchise!
Thanks a lot dude!! Yeah it was a pretty big undertaking, but also a lot of fun to put together. I recently went through the Genesis GnG for the first time a few months ago and outside of the weird hit boxes, it's a really great port and super fun!
I am only a couple minutes in, but I just subbed. The production value is excellent and I am looking forward to seeing what else this channel has to offer.
I appreciate the kind words and thanks for the sub! Hope you enjoy my other videos.
This is excellent, well done.
Thank you, very much appreciated!
Cracking retrospective look at the history of the GnG series, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, I grew up with these games and have tried to collect and play them all but you’ve highlighted a couple that I missed along the way. Thanks for taking the time and effort to produce such great content.
Thanks John, really appreciate the kind words! I learned a lot myself about some of the more niche spin-off titles while researching for this. It was a fun one to put together. Thanks for watching!
This is one of my favorite series of all time!
Thanks to your video I found a few new games I didn't know existed.
In fact, I've made the Ghost 'n Goblins background music my ringtone and the map music my text alert.
Hopefully there will be more entries in the future.
That’s awesome, thanks so much for watching and glad you enjoyed it! Fingers crossed for a new game, hopefully without having to wait another 15 years again. 😅
Great video, glad I found your channel
Much appreciated, thanks for watching!!
Fantastic documentary , well done sir !
Thank you, appreciate it!
Brother, I'm not sure if you'll read this comment amidst the avalanche of love being poured here in the comment section, but I just wanted to drop this extra heart of appreciation for the work you continue to do. I hadn't watch your channel in a while, and recently me and my son sat down again for a good videogame documentary and checked you again.
Dude, thanks for doing this, I never played this game, but as usual I'm fascinated by the history of it, and you are my favorite guy when it comes to this. I wish words could convey more feelings, but this is all I got. Thank you dude, keep it up! So glad to have people like you for true, genuine entertainment/education. Much love Chris!
Heyyy, great to hear from you again man!! Really happy you and your son enjoyed the video. I greatly appreciate the kind words and you've been a great source of motivation for keeping me going with my content. Thank you again as always and I hope you continue enjoying my work in the future.
So much work put in animation and montage!
Thank you! It took sooo many hours to animate. 😅
Among the best documentaries I've seen!
Thank you so much, I'm really happy and appreciative you liked it that much!
I was 8 when Super Ghouls N Ghosts came out. I remember that everyone that I knew who had a SNES also had a copy of it. Literally everyone had it. I always played it at my cousins house and friends houses thinking it was impossible to beat. But, I just kept on and on and on and fell more and more in love with the series. Now I am almost 40 and it has become one of my all time favorite game franchises along with Castlevania and Final Fantasy and I can finally beat it! I love Super Ghouls N Ghosts so much that I even got a complete in box copy for the Super Famicom based solely on the wonderful cover artwork and the instruction manual being filled with beautiful illustrations. You are so very correct in saying how important the series is as a whole to the world of gaming. This video was extremely well done! It was wonderful sir. You did an amazing job and got a new subscriber! Please do not stop making these. What you are doing is bringing new fans to the series. I thank you sincerely for that. Have a wonderful day sir!
Thanks a ton Justin, I really appreciate the kind words and am happy you enjoyed the video! I really love hearing stories like this and it’s pretty damn awesome that you got a CIB copy of the JP Super GnG. What’s funny is my reward to myself for completing this video was a CIB copy of Super GnG on the Super Famicom as well, haha. Easily my favorite game in the series!
Thanks so much again for watching and sharing your experiences! Fingers crossed the series keeps moving forward for many more years to come.
Awesome documentary! What a great series to focus on. I hope you will do more!
Thank you so much! More are definitely on the way, they just take a while to make, haha.
Thanks for making this documentary. Great game. One of my favs. Mesmerizing
Thanks so much for watching, glad you enjoyed it! You’ve got good taste in games.
So well put together! Keep up the amazing videos!!
Thanks, appreciate ya dude!
Great doc. Really enjoyed it
Thank you, appreciate it!!
Great job on the video 🎉
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
GREAT documentary! Thanks!
Thank you!!!
Great editing!
Thank you!!
Bruh this was immaculate! Especially pointing out all the cameos at the end! Fire! Good shit my G! I hope capcom sees it!!
Thanks man, really glad you like it!! The cameos section was definitely the most fun part to put together. 👍
this was great, thanks!
Thank you, appreciate you watching!
What a great video! I've loved this series since I was a little kid (even though I'm still no good at it)! Countless great memories playing Super Ghouls'n Ghosts on the SNES with my mom and sister, I play Ghosts'n Goblins whenever I fire up the Arcade1up, crazy how much I love the series while being terrible at it, haha! Thank you for making such an awesome video!
Thank you, really appreciate it and happy you liked the video! I think that says something about how fun and well designed the games are even if they're brutally hard. I've got a lot of fond memories myself of playing both GnG and Super GnG back in the day. Thanks again for watching!
Congratulations on, and thank you for, making the single best Ghost n' Goblins video on the internet.
I really appreciate the kind words! I'm a big fan of the series so a lot of love went into this one. Thanks so much for watching!
Chris, you got yourself another hit with this video. So well-deserved - keep at it, mate! You're one of the best out there; hope your channel explodes soon.
Thanks so much, really appreciate the kind words! I’m just happy you’re enjoying my videos! 👍
Fantastic documentary! I remember playing Gargoye's quest on Gameboy and being amazed by the atmosphere. Once again, thank you for this well articulated doc.
Thanks so much, really happy you enjoyed it! While I played GnG on NES a lot as a kid, Gargoyle’s Quest really blew my mind since it A. let you play as the “bad guy” and B. was an amazing combination of a platformer and an RPG. I sadly lost the game on an airplane during a family trip and still haven’t fully recovered from the trauma, haha. Thanks again for watching!
@@RewindArcade Thank you Chris for this lovely and pationate reply. I had a comparable experience that I remember vividly 30 years later. Wish you the best and I will see you on another video :)
This is top quality content! Congraturation 🔥
Thanks a ton, really appreciate it!! This story is happy end. 😂
Really enjoyed this 😊
Thank you so much!
That was Awesome!!!! Just SO good!!!!
Thank you so much, really happy you enjoyed it!!
Nice work!!!
Thank you!!
New video from Chris! YUSSSSSS!!!
Wow the intro, was super epic!!!
Thanks, I had a lot of fun putting it together!
Discovered your channel today through this video. Watched 8 other of your videos straight after and subscribed of course. Hopefully this channel starts growing soon. You really deserve it. Great videos. Thanks for keeping me company through a rough work day :)
Thank you so much for the sub and I'm really glad you're enjoying my content!! Some of my earlier stuff hasn't aged too well, but that's just a normal part of growing I guess, haha. Happy to help you through a long work day and thanks for the kind words!
@@RewindArcade Have watched everything from Symphony of the night through Gradius, Battletoads, Final fantasy etc. and think everything is really well done.
I guess I’m my own worst critic, huh? 😂 Thanks so much for the support!
Wow this is really well made, such a good format
I appreciate that and am glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
This video is incredible, how have I only just found this channel??
Thanks so much, really appreciate it! I’m actually a relatively new channel on UA-cam. 😅
This is the very best documentation about Ghosts‘n‘Goblins I‘v ever seen!
That means a lot, thanks so much!!
@@RewindArcade I‘m a life long fan of Ghosts‘n‘Goblins since it’s first release (same with Gradius by the way). You are dead on with your history, I love it!

Great video, one of my favourite games.
Thanks, appreciate it! One of my favorites as well.
Man this series was always way too hard for me lol, but I love these deep dives and learning more behind the scenes stuff. I played Maximo when I was younger and guess I never realized it was tied to G&G but in retrospect it all makes sense. Super interesting and so well made! The segment where you showed the transition from 2D to 3D and snuck Bubsy in there made me laugh out loud. Another great vid!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it!! I hadn’t played Maximo until making this video because the having to buy saves and continues scared me away from it when I was younger, haha. It’s such a great series and I’m sad it didn’t get to continue. So happy the Bubsy gag landed well too 😂. Thanks for watching!
Dude these retrospectives are awesome. You're doing a great job. I wish you all the success, it's well deserved. 👍
Thank you so much for the kind words, that means a lot and I'm really happy you're enjoying my videos!
Thank you for an incredibly well produced video. Daimakaimura is one of my all time top 10 arcade games. There is just something very, very special about the atmosphere of this wonderful game.
Thank you so much for watching! Daimakaimura is one of my favs too. I spent a lot more time with the Genesis/MD version though. The stage and boss designs are amazing!
Same here. It was the primary reason why I imported a Japanese MegaDrive back then - that port looked and felt soooo close to 'arcade perfect'. Played the game to bits.
Great work mate, keep the quality up and the subscribers will come!
Thanks a ton, very much appreciated!!
Awesome video!!
Thank you!!
This is fucking rad. I was very impressed by just the intro alone. Ty for putting so much love and refinement into this video. I am simply gobsmacked by this introduction.
Thanks a ton, appreciate the kind words! The intro was a ton of work to put together, but I had so much fun making it. Thanks for watching!
That was a really good documentary. Keep on!
Thanks a ton, glad you enjoyed it!!
Awesome documental.. I wish i could watch it before. Thanks for your time making this.
Thanks a ton, glad you enjoyed it!!
Great video, i love these doccies
Thank you, glad you enjoy it!!
I love your thourough review of the series, I didn't know all the versions that were out there like the WonderSwan and the Japanese only exclusives, but I also like how you followed the creator and why he did the moves he did, subbed for life bro.
Thank you, really happy you enjoyed it! I learned a lot while researching for this video myself. I always forget that Fujiwara was the one who came up for the whole concept of Resident Evil in the first place which made Capcom billions of dollars over the years. Pretty crazy!
This video made me to subscribed, after checking your playlist I got it was best decision I ever did while sober.
Thanks a lot, appreciate it!! Now I’m curious what was the best decision you’ve made while not sober? 😂
@@RewindArcade it's still problematic.
I have no words to describe how increíble this video is. Awesome job 👏 Ghost & Goblins is my favorite NES of all time!
Really happy you enjoyed it and thanks so much for the kind words! I grew up with GnG on the NES myself and played it constantly. I couldn’t actually finish it until I got older though, haha. 😅
