Well dear Greg, I listened to the Mazurka N°1 today. It will take me some time and patience to learn it again. Thank you so much dear Greg for your wonderful explanations. Have a very nice week-end.
I love this Mazurka. I had studied it a long time ago in Marseille. I am going to study it again with great Joy. I like dear Greg, how you explain the part violin. To me the melody is oriental. And I really like your explanations. I have to do it hands separatedly. Thank you so much dear Greg.
@@gregniemczuk I will be happy to meet you if you come to Marseille in August. However, my husband and I are going on thermalism from 22/07 until 13/08. We will both come to Marseille. I am particularly excited to know you a little bit. We are by car or train five hours from Marseille. A big hug to you.
Many thanks for your very instructive video! I am learning to play the piano but I have some harmonic knowledge from other instrument. The "strange" scale on the third part of the piece is (in my opinion) a Major Naepolitan scale in F. The major naepolitan is derived from the major Frigian mode, this one corresponding to the frigian with raised third. In fact, the major frigian does not exist as such, but is the Fifth degree of the Harmonic minor (of A in this case). So, get the major frigian, raise the seventh and you get the NAEPOLITAN MAJOR family, very extensively used in romanian gypsy music for instance, and (but much less) in flamenco. Hope this adds a bit of useful information to your great video. Thanks!
Of course you're right! But those videos were made during the deep COVID-19 pandemic and were created mostly for music enthusiasts with absolutely NO musical knowledge whatsoever. So I didn't use any words which might be impossible for them to understand.
Świetny kanał! Właśnie staram się nauczyć tego utwory, co w moim wieku, stażu grania i umiejętności nie jest łatwe. Dobrze, że można zwolnić YT. Świetnie Pan to tłumaczy :) Serdecznie dziękuję i pozdrawiam. Oczywiście subskrybuję 😁
@@gregniemczuk Bonjour M. Demarbaix. Vous étudiez cette Mazurka N°1 opus 7 ? Moi aussi. Greg est un excellent professeur et c'est une joie que d'étudier F. Chopin avec lui. Vous êtes de quelle région en France ? Bon dimanche.
Your valuable analysis are priceless. I keep watching them over & over,,, thank you again,,,, ❤❤❤❤
