I work alot but I can live peaceful..I sold dope but destroyed my self buy getting high on my own product ,had like 1000 in pocket thinking im doing big things, today's gangbanging is getting high and being homeless, the prison system is flooded with dope , homies strung out and made the sur weak by homies falling like flies to pc yard..Im glad I've change and always push the narrative to not live the gang life.

I feel it starts with our stilo, once we start dressing a certain way it does something to you psychologically. It breed bravados machismo and top it off with a brim and locs. You’re a gangster ( if even in your mind) then it evolves because let’s be honest we are an insecure people and always trying to prove ourselves. We are taught at young age as Latinos we don’t rat,we don’t turn the other cheek, it’s conditioning. Even as mature and become family men most Veteranos still carry that mentality and one argument away from falling back into that. I guess what I’m saying is that it starts very young and we have to teach youngsters that they can be a proud Chicano because gangs serve as a vehicle to express our culture but we self victimize.
Anyways I can go on and on this is my $.02.

I was shocked when I found out how old Fred C. Nelles Youth Authority was. I wondered if we were to look at the records on the incarcerated there, we would find that they had the same psychology of recidivism. Folsom and San Quentin are very old prisons too. I heard from EME member that California and New York liberal policies permit an inmate to run a drug enterprise from his cell. The vehicle that permits this is 'communications.' It was weird how he singled out a couple of states because that is a sign that this is what they desire for us to do to continue keeping our prison systems full to capacity.
