Cardiovascular physiology - Action potential of cardiac muscle and SA Node , medical animations
Pacemaker cells (e.g., sinus node) of the conduction system of the heart autonomously and spontaneously generate an action potential that spreads throughout the myocardium.
The electrical excitation of the myocardium results in its contraction (electromechanical coupling).
The phase of relaxation prevents immediate re-excitation (refractory period).
Conducting system of the heart
----------------------------------------------------
See structures of cardiac conduction system: collection of nodes and specialized myocytes that initiate and coordinate contraction of the heart muscle
Normal course of electrical conduction: sinus node (pacemaker) creates an action potential → signal spreads across atria and causes their contraction → signal reaches AV node and is slowed down → AV node conducts the signal to bundle of His down the interventricular septum to Purkinje fibers in myocardium → they spread the signal across the ventricles → the ventricles contract (electromechanical coupling)

Glad it was helpful!
wonderfully explained Sir. Thnk u so much.
GREAT DR " Bhanu Prakash" 👌👌👌💖💖💖.
Super way to deliver about to SA node
Tysm
Nicely explained sir, very precise and details,
Thank u

👏👏👏great video sir!!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent explanation
tysm
Nice explanation sir. Mainly, explanation regarding action potential of heart is amazing.
Thank u so much
hello thanks for ur vedios sir
Nice sir, best lecture i have ever seen...
thank u
Great value ♥️
Tysm
Sir you are god gift for us
Why SA nodal fibers are slow and myocardial fibers are fast???
Thank you sir🙂
Most welcome
very good welldone
Thanks for liking
Amazing video sir
Thanks a lot
Thank you so much it’s clear now in this topic keep rocking sir
Thank u so much for watching ...
Very helpful sir thank u❤️❤️
Amazing lecture sirji
Thanks and love from Pakistan 😍
Thank u so much
thanku soo much sir...its too helpful...i could never understand this..
Sir plz make some videos on respiratory system (anatomy, physiology, pathology, diseases?
Thanks sir
So nice of you
Thank You Sir
Most welcome
🙏🙏🙏🙏excellent sir
Keep watching
What happens to refractory period in fibrillations?
Thank you sir for detailed explanation.
Sir, I have a doubt........during slow action potential of SA node, Ca ion influx which causes depolarisation, But how this large amount of Ca ion get back to extra cellular fluid ?
Why RMP is due to K+ in cardiac muscle??
Well explained
incredible video quality.
Glad you enjoyed it
thanks dr. dark
Keep watching

All the best
@@doctorbhanuprakash thanks
Thanks 🇵🇰
Awesome lecture
Very very very nice video
Thanx from yemen sir🤗
Good job!
Wait.... Won't it be like base of heart gets repolarised first and then the bundle at atrioventricular septum?
Tnk you sir
Nice
Thanks
Excellent
Thank u
Thanks sir. Thanks a lot...
Awesome video
Thank u
Thanks
Great!!
🤝🤝🤝
Thanks 👏👏👏👏
Your video is far more interesting than lecturio video...
Then why the hell, the ads of lecturio is disturbing us
Lecturio targeted my videos to play google ads
👍💯

Sir sa node n av node heart ko chalata hai( power deta hai) but sa node or av node ko enargy (power) kahain se milati.. hai
17:22 sa node starts
NICE.I HAVE SUBSCRIBED YOUR CHANNEL.NEW CHAPTERS ARE AWAITED
sure many gonna be added , thank u
sir i want to see the sa node stucture
Sir digoxin blocks na k atpase pump
I'm Irish...up India..
Ligand gated channels... pls teach about it sir

Sir plateau is formed due to depolarization but why it is formed? Sir
Late inactivating depolarizing calcium and sodium currents are balanced by activating repolarizing potassium currents to maintain the plateau, which is often down-sloping as repolarizing currents begin to dominate.
Thank you sir
Respected sir ,
I want to say that sir last i had tacharcardia episode 16 july 2021 , undocumented 192 heart rate measured by oximeter , i had dizziness , palpitations these all syptoms but i had totaly awareness that time , before this episode i had diagnosed as hypochondria by psychatrist in 2018 , i prescribed medicine for six months , but i had anxiety attacks some times , before episode on that day i have cardic neurosis that i had heart attack and i took atenlol beta blocker but then suddenely this tachardia episode happened, so after that i took many psychotherapy from psychologist and my anxiety reduced but i went to cardiologist he diagnosed me AvNRT , he said to me that during panic attack or sinus tacharcardia could not exceed 160 heart rate so its definitely svt episode? So there is any possibility sinus tacharcardia to reach 192 heart rate ? My birth date 16/04/1986. After that i have never tachardia episode happen, so but you would said about this .i shall be very thankful to you if you replied me 🙏.
Your sincerely
Gurmeet singh
Plz explain what is the energy source of SA node..
For our body initial source is oxygen. While aerobic respiration supports normal heart activity, anaerobic respiration may provide additional energy during brief periods of oxygen deprivation. And oxygen is supplied by CORONARY ARTERIES.
good one...sir did nt mention anything about threshold in action potential?
threshold will be thr in sa.nodal action potential but not in cardiac muscle action potential
What are P cells sir ?? 😢
