💯 stole my words. ever since i had a cold brew, it's always been a cold brew for me. and it's stronger with richer notes, and i love the taste of that strength. such a win overall. The fact that it’s steeped like that for a whole 24 hrs makes it a special elite kind of drink that makes it more worth it. Like I drink coffee to stay awake so yes and I want it to taste amazing. Why would I settle..
I used to be a sbux barista years ago and I used to make their cold brew. Rewarding process. But don’t buy sbux btw. For one, boycott anyway because fr€€ P@lest!ne! But the prices are a scam and their coffee isn’t ethically sourced AND they found a carcinogen (cancer causing substance) in it years back. It was in the news. Surprised people still buy from them despite knowing that.

Best way to make cold brew (in my opinion) is to have the coffee and water mixed together in a regular glass cup overnight. Then pour all of that into a pour over filter and let it drain. No fines and easy clean up. Also, no need to spend money on a fancy carafe.

Cold brew is least acidic but I feel like it tears up my stomach the most 😢

Some years ago, I was feeling a bit curious and made cold-brew coffee - I haven't been able to sleep since :) I didn't realise how much more caffeinated it would be.
Since that failed experiment, if I fancy a cold coffee at home, I will brew an espresso in my stove-top mocha pot, maybe add a bit of sugar, add it to milk or evaporated milk if I'm feeling indulgent and add ice.

cold brew has been it for me ever since i found out about it 5 years ago. i brew enough for 3 days in advance and it always tastes the best at the 3rd day. kind of like a caffeine wine for me atp. no added syrups needed, no milk, I add some sugar the night before if I crave it and by the morning, its dissolved with the coffee. best. thing. ever.

sometimes, I brew my coffee in a french press but 3/4 cups, i’ll have 1 hot cup of coffee at the time then make iced coffees throughout the day, just leaving it all in the french press, sort of like a weird cold brew/iced coffee mix

Day fourteen of asking you to make this! I make it for my dad all the time and it’s his favorite!
    Whipped iced mocha:
    • Two tablespoons of water
    • Two tablespoons of instant coffee
    • One tablespoon on sugar
-Froth those all together until you get a creamy texture-
-Next put as much milk and ice in a cup as you like and add your frothed mixture-
(Optional, add some vanilla extract or flavoring and some chocolate syrup or one of them, my dad likes both)
GUYS PLEASE MAKE THIS THE TOP COMMENT SO HE SEES THISSSS!❤️❤️❤️
(Idk why UA-cam crossed that part out, still follow those directions)

Its so hard to find iced coffee out anymore! Everyone loves the cold brew 🙃 but I love the bitterness! I often have to opt for an iced americano, especially if I want decaf.

iced coffee is just regular v60 brewed over rock ice that doesn't melt easily even if you pour it with brewing temperature (about 93°C). and it's called japanese ice drip.
pro : fast brew time, suitable for coffee shop. less waiting time for customers.
cons : the taste is worse than cold brew even if you use the exact same beans for both brewing method.
edit : depend on the people taste but the best beans to make cold brew is robusta dampit planted from east java. and specialty grade arabica aceh gayo for the japanese ice drip.

Fun fact: cold brew's low acidity also makes it a good option for people who's stomachs are sensitive to a classic cup of joe. If you really can't say goodbye to your morning cup, try cold brew and see if it agrees with you more.

My go-to order is an iced americano in the mornings and a frappe any other time of day. Iced americanos are in my opinion, the fastest caffeine delivery systems (for anyone not willing to shoot espresso down their gullet) XD.
