Watching this 6 years later you helped me make the best booklet I’ve ever made. Thanks for your clarity and understandable pace. I saw you stopped making videos 3 years ago, hope all is well with you and i hope you make videos again. Thanks again
If you came here for what the title says, the video starts at 12:52
lol thanks
lmao
Thanks
Hahahaha...thank you very much for the warning. I started watching from 12:50
Thanks broo😂
This was very helpful and simply explained. Which is great for someone like myself who isn't very computer savvy. Thank you so much!
The best.. this save me😂.. just perfect.. don't worry about others saying it's too fast.. your trying to help us.. not we trying to help u so Idc I'll play it over and over again.. we want to learn not u..❤️💜
Finally! An explicit tutorial for making a pamphlet! Thank you!
Thank you so much, I was actually able to follow your instructions and completely got it done.
Thanks a lot for the very useful instruction. I have been using it quite often to help people.
Thank You So Much You're a great teacher and you made things so simple and your work is GREATTTTTTT!!!💪💪💪💪👏👏👏👏👏💫💫💫💫💫
This was a very helpful video, but if you're like me and already know how to do text boxes and stuff just go to 1:16 to show you how to set it in landscape form and put a line in the middle. That was what I came for and was very helpful. If you're new to all this, the entire video is handy!
wow! I'm extremely grateful for this video. magnificent word dear. thanks very much.
Thank you this helped me tremendously
Thank you so much for this video. It's very helpful. Good job tracey
Hello Tracey Hull! I am a keyboard specialist and I do typewriting jobs on a Dell microcomputer, a color laser printer, and a label printer, right in the privacy of my home. Also, I am a fan of computer technology. I watched your show because I relish watching people use the computers. I am blessed that I learned typewriting on an antique typewriter when I was 12 years old.
I use Microsoft Publisher to add many photographs and graphic objects to be placed in any position on the page. I use the desktop publishing program when I want to create newspaper-like and magazine-like pages. When I need to add a few photographs and simple graphic objects, I use Microsoft Word. Please allow me to suggest that when you made some lights for the marquee, you may prefer to select a few of the black and white dots, copy them, and paste them so that you can keep charge of the object, and not the object keep charge of you. I hope this will be a timesaving tip so that you will not need to do methods that would make the job monotonous and mundane. I enjoyed this show and look forward to watching more shows that would show the use of other application programs. Happy Keyboarding!
Thank you, this is very helpful for making a booklet or pamphlet.
Thank you, love your video, it has given me a quick and easier way of doing Brochures.
This looks good but I'm wondering why you would segment the page into two with a line rather than use the booklet option in the Print menu? IS there some advantage? Also, what if on on or two of your pages you want columns of text? Would you have to insert a table and have no outline? Thanks :)
Learned a lot from your video! Thanks so much.
Thanks Tracey Hull...... you have done great job! :-) your creative videos very helpful and easy
thank you so much this video was very helpful would recommend yo anybody
THANKYOU!
may God bless you for helping others 🙏🏻🥰
Thank you for the video. I am using Word 2019. I can't get score line to show as green. It shows the little symbol for center only. Next question, when you place your text box on the right side (or the left for that matter) how do you know if it's centered?
Excellent tutorial. Thank you kindly...
Outstanding performance on using Word, Tracey.
Thanks for your video it helps me with my daughter's program. Thanks and Happy New year.
Thanks for sharing... but what if we want to add multiple pages for a journal (where we’ve added questions on it). Seems a little hard if I needed all the pages to be in sink with one another??
I had to do exactly this recently. Thank you for your instructions.
Thank you, this video helped me a lot and I learned so many new things!
OMG! Tracey thanks verry mucho this HELP ME ALOT THANKS AGAIN
Learned alot with the video. Thanks.
awesome job Tracey ..... I like your teaching style. keep going
This was a tremendous help!
I actually really love what was done to the word Carnival... but I have a question. I have no such 'transform' option in text effects. I've looked everywhere. Is this an additional download or something, or has it since been removed from Word?
If I am doing 12 pages do I just keep putting the top page to the other side ?
Thank you for sharing 👍🏾
Hi there, how would I make a mini-size bifold pamphlets and be able to print multiple in one sheet?
I had to change the hymns in the existing half-fold bulletin and add and extra reading at the bottom. Somehow, when printing, the borders on both sides of the page cut off a couple letters on each side and I could not rectify it. What happened? Why did it all not stay on the page, by letters that would go off the page becoming another row? Can you write too much that, if it would go below the page, the whole template would be thrown off? Do those text boxes prevent that from happening? Why does screen print not print what is in the screen? If it is an internal photo button, it should say so! So, do I now have to mess with margins? Is there no quick way to page wrap the text ;while keeping it on the intended half of the bulletin) make the printed print what is on the screen, because it looked fine on the computer screen’s print preview. I never had this be a problem when writing an essay of resume, where letters were cut off on the border. Do J need to mess with margins to keep all the letters on the page? Thank you to any who can answer this ASAP, because the boss might ask me to try it again, this week.
I loved the numbered raffle tickets did that for school play
Thank you, very helpful. I am using Word on a Mac and cannot figure out how to enable alignment guides, the settings seem different.
Hello! I love your videos. Will you do a tutorial on lip balm labels? Thank you!
Thank you - very helpful!
This was great, totally helpful!! Thank you!
Nice and clear explainasion
well, my version of Word (2016 MSO) does not allow me to do the shift and scroll to make a line down the middle. So much for that!
DUDE just tell us how to do it! You do too much! I dont care about how to change fonts! Stick with your title!
Appreciate your feedback...the title does state "How to make a bi-fold pamphlet in MS Word" and that's exactly what I did, clearly I need to add text, a front and the middle to create the brochure. Some people say I do to much and go too fast and others want me to cut to the chase and know how to work with fonts...I try to do a happy medium....hopefully you didnt waste too much time.
@@traceyhull4221 Tracy, I'm a tech teacher for our school district and other than going a little too fast for some who are trying to follow along as you show them, you do a fine job. Some people have to be disgruntled and find fault with people who offer their knowledge free of charge. Please don't ever let them discourage you. Again, you did an awesome job in offering this information. More advanced users can certainly scroll through or if they already know what you are showing, they can find a video that is more advanced. Bless you!
Hi tracey,
So far eveything was working out well, but when I put the paper back in the printer to print the inside it keeps coming up upside down.. help!!!
Love your videos 😍
Great, thank you.
Super helpful, Thank you!
How do you insert a picture, for say, where you inserted your "Carnival" text box? I am trying to create a memorial program and haven't been able to figure it out. Any insight would be appreciated!
If you watch the video, the bottom eagle is a picture....just follow those steps and place it on top instead of the text box!!!
I have a document (from) is in letter but I would like to print it in 11 x 17 and keep pages 8 x 1. how can I do that? Do I have to create a new Document in 11 x 17 in landscape? or can I just manipulate somehow the printing output?
Someone pointed me to this video witch solves my issue, thanks for your time

Hello, it's not allowing me to enter any text on the 2nd column for the front page.
Thanks! It worked!
What size paper do you use in your printer? Is it just the standard 11x8.5?
Great job! Thanks for making!
Really Helpful Thank you
Thanks for the extras!

Woow !! You are wonderful.
What version of windows word are you using , my 2010 doesn't give me a green line
Go to Page Layout on the ribbon > Align > Use Alignment Guides
New sub and LOVE your videos.
Just a suggestion: in the Show More area, could you list all the fonts you use and the websites you got them from? That would be super helpful of a novice like me.
Thanks so much for posting your vids. I've learned a lot from you! :)
I will start listing the fonts, someone else suggested that as well!
i'm really excited to try this out

Hi! I am not using mac. Do you have an idea where I can find that text effects ? thanks!
You may have to upgrade your Word...older versions don't have text effects
So you made this as two separate documents?
Yes....
I wanted to see the booklet, as in, how to get Word to rotate the pages so that it prints as a booklet. I don't want to do it manually.
can we make bi fold shape brochure on word in easy way???? like bottle shape, like speaker or any other else. guide please....
I don't think I understand your question.....are you asking about dye-cutting? What do you mean like a shape?
yes dye- cutting , is it doing on word or not, if we want to make bottle shape or drop shape brochure so that can we make on word or not. On this will require photoshop?

Thanx heaps! Easy to follow
Thank you!
i need more help
Hi,how can i print it off if i have got more than one pages? for example a book
You can copy this format multiple times, print them out and then either use a stapler or you can use a large needle with ribbon attaches and poke a hole through three times and bind the book together, I've used both methods.
Thanks this really helped
thx u helped me wit my project
that step of the line turning green doesn't happen in the latest version of Word on my Mac, am I missing something
It is not available on all versions of word. Go to Page Layout > Align > Use Alignment Guides
Omg! You go too fast. Please slow down when clicking on tabs.
lol just pause the video you can always go back
nice when video slows enough to see which button(s) were being used. this has been one of the better videos. 2022 with new camera sticks and aids to self record it's getting better too. thank you Tracey.
You can change the speed of the video.
Great tutorial! Your keyboard is so loud.. but Soothing
ha ha ha...
really good.
thank you so much. it helped me a lot. thess reyes
Thanks Tracey, this was very helpful for a work project, but for future videos can you please, please, please slow the F down! lol
SLOW DOWN!! IF I KNEW HOW TO DO THIS I WOULD NOT BE HERE!!
Rewind
All right I like your program very interesting but for one thing for all the modern printers that they are making nowadays you do not have to print the papers and reload the printer with the same paper to print the other side you can go into the printer setting and tell the printer exactly how to print the document but you first have to let Microsoft Office no this isn how you want to print to come out in the setting in Microsoft Office you can set up to have the document print the way you created it so the printer will do everything one time instead of you putting back the paper inside the printer the printer will print the document to the end take it back in itself you don't need to touch the paper the printer will do the job for you
Agreed, but no everyone has up to date printers, this is a sure fire way to get it done and it doesn't matter what printer you have...
do you have a video on trifold menus
I can put that on my list of upcoming videos
what if that green line doesn't appear? :|
Sorry for the delayed response. You need to go to Page Layout > Align > Use Alignment Guide
