In my understanding, this sentence "Too many angels are dying now" is a direct reference to the suicides from ex-idols suffering of cyberbullying last year. Of course i'm thinking about Sulli and Goo Hara... So, by this song, DC is asking to the internet's freaking trolls to close there BOCA!!! That is so powerfull, it makes me wanna cry.
Dami is saying I'm a geek the big paradox.
That spiral ripple in the chorus gets me every time.
My little theory so far with the MV:
So yes, Boca means mouth in spanish, and the lyrics of the song basically just say “y’all haters doing too much shut your damn mouths and stop wasting your time”.
So for the MV, we kinda have the two different realities (the urban rainy area and then the elegant tree area). And I think this represents sorta like the dark, real world and then a sort of heaven but it’s not like afterlife just like an ethereal place. And, in the lyrics in the bridge, you hear SuA say “too many angels dying now” right after Yoo shoots herself. You also have gahyeon bleeding the gold blood, so kinda like they are some form of angels.
So my theory is that the MV isn’t actually about haters hurting other people, it’s about hurting themselves. It means that when a person decides to turn down this path of anger and hatred, they are killing their “inner angel” per say. I get this from Yoohyeons urban real world self shooting her angel self, like the dark version of her killed the light version of her.
Idk I could be completely wrong, but that’s how I see it. At first I had other ideas, but once Yoo shot herself those all went out the window and that’s the one theory i have.

I agree, there seems to be a lot hinting at the idea of "when you decide to hurt others, you're hurting yourself just as much". And with the internet providing so much of a sense of anonymity and disconnection from the pain written words might cause, people are hurting themselves without realizing it, which further emphasizes the disconnect between the "light" world and the "dark" one, because people don't even realize how much their hate towards others is hurting themselves. They think that because you can be anonymous on the internet, it can't come back around on them. But really, they're just doing more damage inside.

Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese, as you correctly figured out. It is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("freak behind the mask" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome!

Boca has become my 4th favorite DC title track and It was competing against April's Lalalilala for the number 1 song of the year spot for a few days. Boca came out on top. So now Boca is 1st and Scream is 3rd ;) Please do an album listen. The song Break The Wall is their 2nd best song overall. The showcase for that song was fantastic. Also Handong made a dance video to the song!! :)
