Fusing genres moombahton to hip hop to rock, tonal shifts in music and vocal from soft and vulnerable to wild animal attack, and OUTSTANDING vocals from start to finish. The best song to demonstrate all of it at the same time. 50% of Dreamcatcher's discography is something other than Dreamcatcher genre, but that's a whole different adventure. Deja Vu is a top favorite song along with Boca, it leans the most towards beauty and vocals of their title tracks. Going the total opposite direction is Curse of the Spider 2024 version, a new arrangement of an older song to have fun with the audience at concerts. The Dreamcatcher members have produced their own videos for b-sides they liked, Poison Love makes Handong the star of the video since she wasn't able to be in the Boca MV.
Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song?
This song is ABSOLUTLY one of my favs of all time. the lyrics, the video, the sounds, the voals. Its an epic and so heavy meainigful song. A rating from you would be great.

I think that's because Boca is such a bop and an easy song to listen to over and over. Deja Vu is very dark, a combination of ballad and bop, so I don't listen to it as much as Boca. It's a song for a rainy evening. Another popular reactor I watch (this guy ua-cam.com/video/Emuaf_dhiwQ/v-deo.html) has been working on ranking all Dreamcatcher songs for quite some time and he put Boca at number 7. I think it should be ranked higher.
I'm excited to react to more of their videos and with how good Dreamcatcher is it's going to be hard for this to stay number one for me for awhile, so many great songs!
Boca is such a banger, though it's not my favorite song off the Dystopia: Lose Myself album, that belongs to Break the Wall which is more of a powerful alt rock track. There's an excellent live showcase version you could view if you wanted to check it out. It's on Andrew Lee's YT Channel. Just search for Break the Wall Live showcase and it should be one of the first options. It will also have subtitles. There's also a self-made MV for Break the Wall but it should be done after the showcase. The self-made MVs are hilarious but it takes away from the music on a first listen, IMO.
