GROCERY HAUL + 3 Crowd Pleasing Dessert Recipes

Aloha my friends!
Today I’m sharing a Kroger grocery haul with you guys filled with lots of great grocery finds for our family of 5. We got a good mix of produce, meats and starches. We love using the Kroger delivery service to get our items dropped off right at our front door.
I’m also sharing a few delicious dessert recipes that are perfect to serve at parties, which I’ve included below. So, if you're asking yourself what dessert to make, I've got three great dessert recipes for you here.

Trader Joe’s Peanut Butter Brownies (we added 1 cup of peanut butter chips to the recipe): www.traderjoes.com/home/recip...
Peanut Butter Crescent Pinwheels:
1 8oz crescent roll package (I used sweet Hawaiian)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
Honey for garnish (optional)
Flour for work surface
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. On a work surface, sprinkle a little flour and lay out crescent roll dough. Press down the seams until it’s mostly a uniform sheet. Spread cream cheese evenly and then drizzle with peanut butter. Sprinkle chocolate chips over it. Roll up the dough and then cut into 12 even pieces.
Place the pieces in muffin tin sections and bake for 8 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle honey over top and enjoy!
Strawberry Shortcake:
1 large angel food cake mix - made per directions on box - add almond & vanilla extract to batter (optional)
1 8 oz package softened cream cheese
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 8 oz container thawed cool whip
3 cups granulated sugar
9 tablespoons cornstarch
6 Oz strawberry gelatin packet
3 cups water
6 cups strawberries, rinsed and cut in quarters
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, cornstarch and gelatin; add water. Cook stirring over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Fold in strawberries.
Mix together cream cheese, condensed milk and whipped topping in a bowl; set aside in fridge.
Bake cake per instructions on box, adding almond & vanilla extract to batter. Allow to cool. Tear or cut cake into cubes.
To assemble, place a layer of cubed cake pieces at bottom of desired serving dish. Follow with a layer of strawberry glaze and then custard mixture. Repeat process 3x. Garnish with sprinkles and strawberry (optional).
