- Back again with vampire survivors. This game is super fun, I mean you just run around killing thousands of things and who doesn’t love doing that?

I love how this game is a little simple but can have complicated strategies for more skilled players and some easy ones for newbies.
The Minecraft effect.
What I appreciate about this game the most, is how it teaches new players the "correct" way to play with just garlic.
(offensively hunting for enemies and not just dodging them)
Easy to learn, a life time to master.

Hi DF, here are some tips:
You can only evolve weapons once the weapon is level 8 and you have the accessory (with the exception of the birds), chests also have a priority system, which goes as such: Arcanas and Evolutions, then weapon and accessory upgrades, then money. This means if you have a weapon that is ready to evolve, the chest will always give you the evolution or an arcana (which you haven't unlocked yet).
Tome and duplicator are extremely powerful accessories, duplicator can make projectile builds incredibly powerful, and I think tome should be used in every run, no matter what.
When on the title screen, you can type in *x-x1viiq*, which will award you with the secret character "exdash", from there, you can do what you did at **18:20**, and kill either the blue death "drowner" or the green death "stalker" and unlock the secret character "Toasty" by pressing the *down arrow key + enter* after killing your preferred death (green death is easier because you can kill him with minecarts in the dairy plant). If you can manage to get Toasty to level 200, he can face tank red death and you can kill him that way (red death is difficult for other characters to kill because he gets about 600k hp with every level the player has, meaning there are really only two ways to kill him and that is to exploit pixel placement and kill him at level 2, or use toasty at level 200).

Only chests after 10 minutes drop evolved weapons.
You missed one other way to kill death: invincible missingno after save editing.
The lasers are MUCH stronger if you have an empty tome (they'll stay up permanently, instead of fading in and out).

I love that you're playing this game so much df, I hope you keep playing. Its really an awesome game, and it gets better the more you play it imo.
I really like how many unique clips the editors put as cutaways. That’s a really nice touch.

If you keep liking to get the duplicator, you should buy that specific upgrade in the shop.
Also, if you get the pentagram, you should rush the upgrades for it so it can evolve. Its evolution is one of the best.

if you go to the VERY bottom of the tower there's a surprise waiting, you should also got up to grab those cards, they're super useful and can add a lot of variety to your runs as you unlock more of them
Hey DF once you fill all your item slots go and grab the stuff on the map. Picking up items when you already maxed out your slots allows you to hold even more. It's how you can get far more passive abilties then you're usually able to. If you see an item on the map, avoid getting it in level ups, so you can grab it later
I like how creative you can be in this game. So many builds to use and upgrades to get!
I just love watching DF play this game. I hope he continues to share gameplay until he unlocks everything.

You actually don’t need duration to keep the lasers up constantly, just cooldown maxed.
Phierragi doesn't actually scale with duration; you only need cooldown.

You could have evolved runetracer when you initially thought. That chest was just dropped before 10 min.
Chests that drop before 10 min will not evolve a weapon, even if picked up after 10 min. The exception is Milk Factory. A chest dropped on that map can evolve a weapon at any time. By extension a chest on Green Acres can also evolve a weapon before 10 min _if_ dropped by a monster from Milk Factory.

Just adding another tip- if you get full weapons then pick one up off the map you'll still get that weapon. The idea is working your way towards one and getting level 1 of your whole build then grabbing the first extra. Work on leveling all those and head for another on the map, you can get a silly amount of ults with a little planning....not that DF is known for planning over mayhem, but here's the theory regardless
if you go far south enough on that level.

A quick tip is that if you have max items and pick up one of the items on the floor the game will still let you have it even though you’ll be having more than the usual max

Just a heads-up, but once you fill up on accessories, you can still get more by picking up the ones on the ground.
Also, you might wanna try checking out the very bottom of that tower…
I recommend going back and going for the green arrows in Gallo tower, the card looking one is the best one that makes builds super fun. Also, empty tome and i think spellbinder make the lasers infinite :p

If you get Tomes combined with the lasers and duplicator, you can actually make it so the lasers are always active and damaging everything.

End result is
8 Evolved Weapons (6 + Extra 2 after Union)
6 + 2/3/4 Passives.
Play normally, leveling for 8~15min.
Go for items listed above, then when your Weapons and Passive slots are full, start heading over to key map items, leveling as you go.
If a map contains an item, don't pick it up while leveling, as you can get it freely later.
Avoid Magic Wand, Santa's Water, Garlic, Whip, Lancet, Laurel, Song of Mana, and Cats.
Fire Wand is an ok choice for 8th wep, ,but never early.
Because you generally Avoid Attractorb, Pummarola, Iron Heart, you also avoid their weps as well, as they generally aren't strong enough passives or weps or even evolved weps in comparison to the others.
For Weapons;
Guns + Peachone allow this 8 weapon endgame, because of Union freeing up a slot.
Lightning Ring because you always get Duplicator.
Runetracer is a solid map clearer. Will usually clear things even off screen.
7th and 8th wep usually advised to become Dagger for creating a path, and Saints Bible for protection around your character.
For Passives;
Tiragisu for Phierragi.
Duplicator because adding another projectile to all your weps is massive. Never skip.
Empty Tome is just extremely solid. More attack speed = more damage, faster. Keeps you alive and gets more exp.
Bracer allows your Runetracer and Vandalier to move across the screen faster, which covers a lot more ground and screen clears.
Spellbinder increases the time spent shooting for everything.
-This in conjunction with Empty Tome means your Phierragi never fizzles out, Your Runetracer never disappears from the screen, and allows for the Unholy Bible, which is very solid.
Armor is only gotten because of how strong Runetracer is. If you don't go Runetracer, this is the first item to go.
Can force this every run, effectively "solving" Vampire Saviours. Can still die to 29min Factory super golems, but Tiragisu can save you until 30min.
Also, you can refund your Power Ups. Be sure to grab that Amount > Cooldown > Magnet > 1 Skip > 1 Banish > 1 Recovery > Might > Area > Duration > Speed > leftovers.

Santa's water is good af idk why you disregard it like that
@@GakisStylianos Santa's Water is great evolved, yes. But it also requires you to get Attractorb as a passive, which is not ideal. Not to mention it's not one you can get early on as a lot of the early levels for it are real bad. If all the bottles targeted an enemy aside from the first bottle, it'd be better, but as it is... Attractorb is too heavy a negative.
Course, you can get it for free in Dairy Plant, and it definitely works there as a free slot.
But that's also why it's a free slot.

Pugnala is a lot of fun, her damage makes the Phieraggi exceptional, though the lasers aren't permanent without empty tome. Empty tome is pretty much the best passive. I think for you the Arcana will be the best part :p

There is a little trick to the meta progression upgrades they get more expensive every time you buy one so if you do it piecemeal you'll end up spending wayyyy more. Buy the expensive upgrades first and it gets way cheaper.

tome and dupli are the most essential passive items its a must in any builds
Also, you can pick up more accessories or the bottom row items. Just make sure you don't fill the bottom row up with the same items on the map unless you just don't want to have a long journey to do.
Just pick up the items on the ground AFTER you fill the passive slots. They get added as extra items that can also be leveled. Also the game does direct you how to unlock everything, no secret unlocks here (other than a couple characters that don't add anything to progression).

Hey df the things on the map are free upgrades. And although yes you can get them through leveling up, the real reason to grab them is because if you do, when you already have your item slots full, you can still grab them and have more items than you should. Once your slots are full go around and get those items. It will make you 100x stronger. Also if you see an item on the map make sure you don't grab it when leveling up. If you do, grabing it later won't do anything
You really need to learn that ultimate upgrades only come from maxing the stuff that builds into them

I've been playing this VS from a time where i cant even finish the 30min mark due to the lagg problem. Until this version which is very stable and enjoyable. With alot of upgrades, arcanas upgrade bring whole new gamestyle.

Heads up - laser guns turn into permanent beams with level 5 tome of cooldown thingy. No down time is fun.

If you get the empty tome for attack speed with the lasers they stay up constantly. Makes things much easier.
Heads up maxxed out empty tome makes the lasers NEVER turn off

The red skeletons don't spawn out of nowhere. They come back to life in the same spot you killed them, but only once.

The lasers are also more powerful the more levels of tiragisu you have, if you buy the levels in the store too it's really powerful

The upgraded Runetracer makes you part JRPG final boss. If you're doing the fight right, at least.
if you pick op the things on the map while you have a full inventory you can get more item then the max
and you can see what level your wepons are when you are in the opgrade menu in the top ritgh
Hey DF, u should take those cards symbols, it gives u some cool advantages
The level of pain I got from seeing DF hasn't bought the duplicated and cooldown PowerUps is unspeakable.
Can I suggest you try garlic with Pummarola and King Bible with Spellbinder, then get the guns + Empty Tome to make the lasers permanent. Try that ultimate combo and see how you'll shread when nothing can get close. Get the whip and axes with that and you'll be a melee beast with heavy knockback.

Oh as an Italian, there's so much purposely broken translations that make me giggle.
"Phiera del Tuphello" ---> Fiera del tufello.
A really old comedy song which is taken from another really old song.
There are plenty of these things in there that most english speakers won't pick up on.
Like Peachone ---> sounds like "piccione". So... pigeon in italian.
Pummarola ---> neapolitan way of calling tomato sauce (that's why you need the garlic to get its ultimate form).
I mean this game is full of this stuff, like the names themselves!
Poe Racchio ---> in roman dialect "poraccio" means "poor guy"
Arca Ladonna ---> ... a very bad religiously based slur which I used all the times. Has to do with "holy" mary and a pig. xD
But there are many more. xD
Don't know if this will help but something I always do is on any map that has accessories on map I fill my accessory bar with everything else first, then go fetch the on-map ones - since then you'll get all of the ones you choose from level up and have the benefit of extra ones from map. Doesn't work on the maps that have no on -map accessories but those that do you can end up quite op! well more than usual.
If you ever want to farm cash in this game, go to the Inlaid Library on hyper mode and just make sure you have garlic. If you get 6 buff items and then pick up the mask of the ground, you can get its benefits too and just reap rewards of about 15 minutes afk, especially with the evolved Pentagram. Its how I got all the upgrades and characters
