CAUTION: Since, you never had a garage. Please make sure you NEVER have a car running and the GARAGE DOOR is DOWN. The CARBON MONOXIDE is produce from the car running in a closed space. CARBON MONOXIDE WILL MAKE YOU PASS OUT and become FATAL. So, make sure the GARAGE DOOR is OPEN, BEFORE you CRANK the CAR. So, put the garage door up, when warming up the car.

RENTER FRIENDLY THINGS
1. Put some painters tape preferably white where you want LED lights & put the lights on that. Also use painters tape to put on the back of posters.
2. Use command hooks for things you want to hang. And you can use command strips for bigger pictures and things you want to hang up.
3. I gotta think of other things LOL

I own a house and use those command things for everything!!
-I use no drill curtain rod brackets.
-Always hold on to things I switch out like shower heads and put back on when moving.
-Line the top of my kitchen cabinets with bounty paper towel to avoid the top getting oily and dusty.
Note to self….never leave the car on while inside of your garage with the garage door closed. lol. Besides that…. Congratulations! After being there for a bit, you will never look back! NYC will always be home but it’s time to move on to better things.

If you don’t use your central AC. Not withholding cool air in the middle of summer heat Lord. You can keep your AC at ONE temp and have it circulate or like 76 when away, 72 when home, then 68 at night. Both options are cost effective.
TURN on the AC set it at 70-71 and leave it. The fans pull more electricity❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.
Make sure to turn the car off before closing the garage door, and open it before turning the car on. You don't want to die in your garage from carbon monoxide poisoning. But other than I love the new house for yall and we want the live girl!! Congratulations again 🎉

Girl close those windows and put your air on 70. Don’t sit in a hot house and suffer. As someone in the comments said. “Fans are going to pull electric”. Your moving in it’s ok to put all your trash out for pickup. Girl, they will take it. We cleaned out our attic, we had about 15 bags, totes. They took it all.

Jazz, get blackout curtains. Set your thermostat to like 75 and leave it. Make sure everybody has a fan and leave the thermostat alone. It will be cooler than outside. Use command strips to hang things like lights, pictures, etc.
When u guys say leave it alone so I let it just run? Does that use more electricity or no? Also I cut ours off at night because it gets cool should I turn the temp up and let it run or just cut it off?
@@user-hq3oy2sz4cturning the unit on and off makes it work harder to regulate temperatures. If it gets too cool at night, set the temp higher. If the temp of the house if cooler than what you have it set at, it won’t turn on anyway. Make sure it’s set to auto and it will only run when it needs to.
Put up some black out curtains, call your electric company and get on the budget plan then turn on that air. You will run up a higher monthly bill using all of those fans vs running the air conditioner. What cost you more money is having lights, tv on in a room where no one there. Anyway congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 on the move. You all earn it. 😊😊😊 But turn on that Air conditioner. I almost fell out when you said you was going to purchase fans in a house that has central air. Just think of it this way riding in a car that doesn't have air and seeing the car next to you with their windows up while sweat running down your face 👀👀👀👀. Jazz you can absolutely put pictures on the wall with command strips! They have heavy duty ones. As for hanging the tv, you can mount tvs but you will have to fill the holes back in with putty and paint over it.
In terms of trash, you can order the other one through your county and you can also look up the policies in your area. It should be free. It took us about a month before we finally cleared all of our trash from moving but it’ll be over lol

The trick to not having them locked in their rooms is to not get them TVs in their room. I did that so we would at least come together and watch movies, eat dinner, etc as a family always.
These kids don’t really care about tv anymore…they are on their phone & on social media
Ask the landlord if your home ever had a recycle bin because if its a no the city provides 1 only 1 time but if it's yes then just call your waste center and you can buy one there or home depot, Lowe's, etc to get a cheaper duplicate. You can also do that with the black one if you want another. Congrats this is amazing and we are all so happy for you and the family!!!!🎉

No Jazzy, please put the AC on ASAP!!! It’s summertime. How do you sleep without AC on? Don’t do that to the kids; please I beg you. You can put pictures and TV on the walls; you just need to ensure you patch the holes & paint over them before you move out.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing on both of your points! 1.) AC is cheaper to run than electric fans on your electricity bill. 2.) You can put holes in your walls. Just get a small can of hole filler when you move. It works! I thought I'd done my big one when I filled all the pictures holes in my last place. Also, you can paint your walls as long as when you leave you leave your place in a color/shade that's light enough to cover in one coat of paint. I'm so happy for y'all! ❤😊❤😊❤😊

Hi Jazzy, I recommened turning your central air to 78 in the summers and about 67 degrees in the winter. If your family can acclimate to these temperatures you will save a lot of money during the winter and summer months. Also, do not make major adjustments to your central air frequently (e.g. don't turn it on and off every day.)
Also, when the central air is on, do not open any windows (you or your children) or all that air (or heat) will quickly escape causing you to spend more money cooling (or heating) your home. This goes for doors too!
Lastly, if you have any ceiling fans, stand underneath the fan while it's on. Summer months should spin counterclockwise, winter months should spin clockwise. There is a black switch on the base (where the fan blades are mounted) of the fan.

No matter the health insurance you have there should be coverage for emergency/unforeseen care when out your out of your coverage area. Follow up care may not be covered, call your insurance and ask them about out of area ER visits and how the ER should be submitting the claims to them. You can even have your insurance follow up with them too. You should not be paying the ER visit fully out of pocket. So happy for you guys on the move ❤️

Air conditioning is actually cheaper than fans on your bill. Set on a comfortable temperature and leave at that number like 74F. And avoid going in and out outer doors even garage. Girl yall got this. These are just some suggestions

The fan will make your electric bill go higher up. All you need to do is keep it on one temperature and do not push it up or down and it will be fine. Also make sure you call the company to see if you can get a one rate monthly

Also most AC's have auto on/off once you set it to adjust the temp.
