There is so much energy in this song, and if you watch the performance video, they just don’t stop moving. And can I say how lucky we are to have a powerhouse vocalist like Haram? Usually, your primary vocalist is a great singer who looks pretty but can’t keep up as a dancer, but Haram has it all. In many groups, she’s good enough to be the primary dancer. I know Sua and Suhyeon are watching proudly, knowing that the magic of Billlie is in very much still intact and in great hands until they can come back.
Did you see the side-B Chat video, where they chatted over a meal about the prep for this release? A good deal of the conversation revolved around Sua and Suhyeon and their absence, about Haram's initial trepidation about being their eldest ("not-leader") for now, about how they all stepped up to fill the void and got even _closer_ as a result, and at one point Sheon turns straight to the camera and speaks directly to Sua and Suhyeon, basically saying "If you're watching this, take your time to recover properly; we'll look after Billlie till you get back." It was _such_ a beautiful video...

Very few companies would allow their members to openly discuss their members’ hiatus on video for fans, and it’s one of many reasons that Mystic Story is the gold standard of companies in KPop. I just really love Billlie. I’ve been hurt by how companies have treated idols in the past (4Minute, Hyuna, CLC, and GWSN have always been my biases), but I feel like Mystic really understands what a gem they’re holding and how they’re going to be around, continuing to grow organically for a long time. Their best is yet to come.
It took me a while to warm up to this comeback - mainly just because I miss Sua (my bias) and SuHyeon. But once I got my head on right, it's really becoming an ear worm that is going right on to my playlist! And the girls really stepped up - especially Haruna OMG! Hoping for an OT7 return soon, but I will always stand with Billlie!!
