Look up some scriptures from the Bible which deal with fear and your daughter will see that more than 365 times in the Bible God tells us not to fear because that is the hardest for us worrying and fear cause depression if the person is focusing on problems which we all do. When a fear thought comes you replace it with what God says. He says :- Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you. I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand “
Psalm 23:4 “I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears”.
Psalm 118:6 “The Lord is on my side, I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Encourage your daughter to just talk to God about how she is feeling and what is concerning her. Ask Jesus to help her and show her the way out and He will. She just has to believe and He will. Jesus said “ Ask and you shall receive “
God doesn’t lie. He keeps His word. Ask Him to lead your daughter out of depression. It’s just a negative way of thinking and if you’re thinking about depressing things all the time you’ll feel depressed.
Then start thanking God for all the good things in your life and then start thanking Him for answering your prayers.
1-ask God for what you want “ dear God please take away this depression and what’s causing it “
2- Now that you’ve asked Him you have to believe that He’s given it to you and start thanking Him- “Dear God thank you for taking away my depression and replacing it with happiness and peace.
God says we can trust Him with everything.
You and your daughter can learn together like the rest of us how to communicate with God for His help and love.
Remind your daughter that God loves her and so do you.

I forgot to tell you at my age 75 I have proven over and over that God is real and He answers prayer. Nothing happens without His consent.
