The $179 TB8 TKL Is Solid | Sound Test | Tech Bear

The TB8 by Tech Bear is a really great value at $179. The design is simple with a nice RGB strip above the arrow keys and it uses a ball catch system to quickly open and close the keyboard case. Overall I think this keyboard sounds great without foams (using the 1.6mm non-flex pcb), and its a really easy build. The only downside is that this is a GB, so you will have to wait until Q3 for delivery of this product. Links below if you are interested in this board. I live the switches. HMX factory lube is very very good, so its smooth and these sound great. I don't think you'd be disappointed

It's 20mm but I find it comfortable paired with a 7 degree angle

What's the difference between e-coated vs anodized? Do they look different? Asking because I'm stuck between the jris75 orange which is e-coated and the mkc75 orange which is anodized

Yes they are a different finish. Anodized is that smooth, almost shiny finish. E-Coat is a coating process which is usually more Matte in texture.

@Clackbait what's the difference between pvd weight and Aluminum weight? For example, the jris75, jris80, and maybe the jris65 have options for pvd weight and Aluminum weight. But the mkc75 only has Aluminum weight
Please make a video on pvd vs. Aluminum, e-coating vs. Aluminum. It'd be cool to see a difference in color and material or even acrylic cases like SM keyboards or switch couture vs Aluminum keyboards. No one I've seen seems to be doing comparison on color finishes. That'd be cool to see

i prefer anodization over coat. PVD weight in the Jris i believe is brass. So it will be coated brass with a mirror like finish. Brass is heavier than alumnium. @@BobCostas-db5hb
