This video is about characterizing Humanistic Psychology generally, and especially in terms of the themes of atomism, determinism, reductionism and holism.
Would you agree that perhaps most, if not all, of the different schools of psychological thought are usually in conjunction with one another? That the biological theory, the cbt method, humanistic, etc. are all valid methods of seeking psychological truth. Or should we stick to one method?
I just decided to quote this video in my paper on normalization of mental struggles among German Medical Students in Riga. I do not know of anything more comprehensively explained in a way that also people not acquainted with humanistic studies can understand when it comes to humanistic psychology. Thanks a lot for your contribution!
That's an interesting topic, I have lived in Riga for 4 years and met/worked with a handful of German medicine students while there. I could tell some struggled not understanding the local mentality especially at the workplace (some would engage in entry level jobs), not expecting to be exploited or taken advantage of (e.g. by potential landlords).
Sweet. Super zoom fried in grad school yet your lectures are ones I actually learn something in. Cheers Eric
Loved it, thank you so much Eric ❤

OMG! I feel a "heavy" responsability of participation in a Universal Transcendance now! :-)
