*I absolutely love this tool!!! The first one was defective and Dewalt replaced **MyBest.Tools** More bulky than the Bosch and Makita corded palm routers I have but worth it. Nice solid base*
Bought it just last week. It’s great. Very quiet very easy to use and battery life is great.
One of the best bits of kit I have
nice to know as i just ordered one. tried a trust but was a bit crap. tried a katsu which was good for a while but now seems to have some movement in it.
black and yellow it is then!
I'm used to larger, corded routers ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.
It's a 1/4" collet but does it also have 8mm collet? website says so but would like to confirm. Would 6mm shanks also fit the1/4" collet?
Hi I’m looking at the Dow 604 but trying to choose between the p2 or m2 not sure what is best cheers
Thanks for the vid. Can you please tell me if you can purchase the plunge base with the router or do you need to purchase separately? Thanks!
linop412 it does comes in a set of plunge base and router.
cant wait till this comes to New Zealand
Its here now if you didnt know
hi,good vid,can you fit the Trend bushes to the plunge section?,thanks.
great nice review 'thought I would die of old age before this came out35
i guess im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Shiloh Ellis Instablaster ;)
@Manuel Trey thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
But will it plunge route a worktop joint ? Lots of videos of how to use it but none actually doing anything
Did u ever find out? Looking at getting one.
Yes, a very steady "bit of kit".
I wonder if this router will be compatible with my DNP612 Plunger Router Base. Does anyone know what the model# of the Plunger Base in this video???
Yes
How do you change the bit? I can’t seem to figure this out. I have a 6mm Diameter bit but can’t seem to get it to lock inside.
Take the battery out, press the yellow button at the bottom of the router and use the spanner that you got . Twist the black metal "knob" with the spanner where you fit the bits. Forgot which side to turn, but should be on the booklet. But you have to hold, not just push once but hold pressed the yellow button and twist at same time.
Wish they would make a tilt-base
Can this cut a worktop ??
I've got the router but never tried to cut worktop. Normally you would use a 1/2 inch router but ive seen people on a dewalt talk group say they have cut worktops with the router but they did a few passes with it
Esta herramienta necesito. ¿ Cuanto vale? Puede alguien enviarla a Chile.
When do we get this little beaut in Australian mate?🦘
due in NZ mid April
@@jamesthebuilder3141 Cheers cuz!!
Video was great thanks.
Ready
Really useful, thanks
Why didn’t you use it you could’ve used it for like 10 seconds
Never seen an 18v battery in a 20v case before
All 20 volt battery's are 18 volt if you put a volt meter on it, go figure.
Review?
Test the tool instead of just talking that is boring.
Shut up and take my money!!!
Your goods cannot be shipped to China.
Fan Yang
China has a habit of copying other companies designs so I don’t blame them for not sending it there...no disrespect
MrJak427 well, some controversy my man, most parts and Brand’s are all made in China because of cheap labour and, ship back to either make them proudly say “made in USA” or basically, just get the China manufacturer chop their tools all ready and import back to start selling.
