There are 2 things that come to mind regarding the number of Punk/non Drew t-shirts:
1. There were a lot of non-Scots at the event. The extortionate tickets priced a lot of locals out (Glasgow has a huge poverty problem), so there were a lot of English there, & from personal experience, a lot of them were wearing Punk shirts. Which makes sense given our national rivalry.
2. The hideous sectarianism of western Scotland, while nowhere near as bad or dangerous as it was when I was young, is still strong enough for Celtic fans to root against Drew simply because he's a Rangers fan. Coming from a family of Celtic-mad lads, we (& I suspect/hope) most other Celtic fans recognised this was bigger than the Old Firm. However, there were still some people who'd rather see Scotland lose than Rangers win, & to be blunt, they're the reason I hate football.
As historic & wonderful an experience Clash was for me & my family, you weren't getting quite as authentic a Scots experience as you might if it were a proper arena show with reasonable ticket prices. I truly hope this convinces the WWE to go for it in the not too distant future.
Still sore about Drew & Piper, & not in the kayfabe "BOOO. Our guys lost" way: it was just an unwelcome reminder that our entire nation is just a cog in WWE's vast machine, & our wants & needs will always be secondary to Best For Business.
At least we got Alba & Isla: for at least one match, we Scots could be winners on our home turf!
On tv it didn't sound like Piper got any kind of a pop during her entrance. Was it just bad timing when the crowd took a break?
@@_Amit_Sunil One problem was the entrance ramp meant a big portion of the crowd couldn't actually see the entrance, & only saw the wrestlers when they actually got in the ring. Why they didn't at least have an entrance ramp is beyond me.
For Piper, it could also be because we didn't really expect her to win, so we didn't feel invested to begin with. As time went on we got more into it & started to believe, but after Alba & Isla won we figured we weren't going to have a clean sweep.
After much thought, I’ve come to the opinionthat AJ didn’t quit to save himself. AJ quit to save Cody from going full homelander
agree with Cody v AJ, felt like it needed an extra 5 minutes. That ending was so abrupt.

Hey Denise I saw WWE CLASH AT THE CASTLE. After The Bloodline Wolfpack jumped Cody Rhodes, then when Randy Orton and Kevin Owens made the save, the camera was focused on Cody and Randy and it showed “The Viper” looking at Cody’s Undisputed WWE Heavyweight Championship. I think Cody’s feud with Solo Sikoa is a one off to get to “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. “The Viper” Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam!
Once I saw Mama Rhodes I had hope something would happen with AJ winning and keeping the belt until Money in The Bank.
As an AJ fan, I just hated the way he said "I quit".
Anyway Cody retaining makes sense so...

Denise, you're showing off that ARM STRENGTH! I'm sure you'll pack duct tape next time because duct tape solves EVERYTHING! 😆 Great review. I liked the AJ STyles vs Cody match the best of all, even though the finish was abrupt, and they missed an opportunity to use Cody's mom some more. AJ Styles has been announced for Japanese promotion NOAH’s Budokan event on July 13, so that will line up with him "quitting" WWE for now. Taking the belts off of Jade and Bianca, who are singles MEGA STARS, just shows that the Woman's Tag Division is still, unfortunately, a lower card belt. Kudos for Damien for gutting out the match vs Drew after Damien was CLEARLY injured. The ending was no surprise, and I can understand why Scottish fans are super angry. Decent PLE overall.

I thought belair and Cargill will hold the tag tittles for a little longer but it still a good match. It was a good show overall, my matches of the night was the womens tag match and Gable Vs Zayn. i aslos hope Belair and Cargill tag entrance and tag finsher will be in WWE 2k24 this September.

my fav match was the triple thread tag team match..very fast paced and entertaining which are usually the types of matches I dig. Also, the outcome of that match was perfect and unexpected. Also, I'm getting tired of this Chad Gable and Alpha Academy storyline and hope they wrap it up soon. Instead of focusing on the match Chad constantly waste time and tries to get his pupils to cheat for him when he already has the upper hand. He probably could have won if he stop forcing the AA to get involved. It's starting to get lame IMO. Also, Drew got screwed by Punk once again. Unbelievable. I'm all for Drew's revenge.

Denise, did you notice and didn't it seem odd to you (you beingin attendance)that there was no explosive PYRO for the show?. None for CODY ,none for new tag champs and no fire or nothing for DREW... Does anyone know why there was not one PYRO effects at the CLASH? Are fireworks illegal in Scotland??

Jade Cargill botched the whole tag team match off costing the team a win and lead to Alba & Isla winning tag titles in their home country.
It seems there was a problem with how the ropes was set up. Damian Preist got leg injury. Sami and AJ was careful with performing moves off the ropes.

After the last month or so and especially, especially after his great match with Drew McIntyre, why in God's name is Damian Priest saddled with the Judgement Day clowns? I say "clowns" because that's how they're being portrayed instead of a Four Horsemen-like group of badasses. I'm happy for Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn but can't help wondering why WWE practically never acknowledged their existence for almost a year before giving them a championship. I know wrestling is scripted but their family having two celebration bouquets of flowers ready really removed any imagined spontaneity out of it. Chad Gable vs Sami Zane is great wrestling but I'm tired of the Alpha Academy sideshow. I hope it reaches its conclusion soon. To me, it's even more ridiculous than NXT's current Chase U drama. Just had a thought... Maybe Gable could go to NXT and take over Chase U!
Piper Niven and drew McIntyre should’ve won the titles. How you put drew on the cover promotion of the ple clash of the 🏰 at his home country and not give him the belt 🤦🏿♂️. Piper should’ve won so she can go against Nia Jax for the title.
