On a totally different note, looking at ur ramshorn snails I would recommend adding some calcium in ur tanks. Cuttlefish bones are fantastic as u just throw them in the tank and its job done, calcium usually helps with less deformed fish too!
Really enjoying the series and looking forward to updates as well. Trying to do the same things here with mine. I'll let you know how it goes. Blessings.
Clarity was a problem, so sexing was difficult. I look for the iridescence on the flank in the male and the distinctive darker line between the spine and top round of the coelomic cavity in the females. This dark line clearly creates contrast between the color of the belly and upper body. Also, guppies can be sexually mature at 28 days; this is influenced by the quality of feed and temps.
only way of knowing would be to separate and wait a month to see if have fry. I don't think its harmful, they just have smaller babies and fewer numbers.

Male usually color up faster
Also after 2 months females are most likely to get pregnant as well. How can you tell if they are and will it harm her being so young?

I've got a female that is starting to get spots on its side . I'm 99 percent sure it's a female. 👍 ✌
Did u say 2 to 3 months before taking the babies out ...if not will they hurt the babies for future breeding and aggressive food behavior???
can take babies out right away, around 2 months can tell the gender. separate them soon as can visibly tell gender
Wait 2 to 3 months to move gender around for selective breeding..im lost hennesy night 😃
