at this point in the game, I don't really understand what's happening, but the colorful shapes sure are moving
The liquid meters are pretty dope for limiting how much flows to the tank. There's a reset signal you can use as well.
I'm very surprised he isn't using that. You send exactly enough and it's full.. Or even 0.1 more than you need and dump the excess.

That rocket flying off destroyed one of your liquid unloaders. Maybe a little too close to so much heat.

19:06 venting door - yack, there is a more elaborate way to make sure it will never happen, like a fractional distillation column. Just make distillation plates of air flow tiles and liquid will not fall down, but hydrogen goes higher to the next distillation plate where the temperature will be much lower. Personally, I would build it next to a few other factories like oil to the natural gas converter and nearby to chlorine vent (moo grass feed). One column but cools down everything. Sulfur can recirculate inside the column to precools vapours. Loads of ways to skin the cat but it will be still a column - a distilling column.

Rocket loaders just "forget" to work sometimes 😒 I've heard disabling/reenabling rocket platform works to wake those up, but haven't had an opportunity to try that yet.

does it even matter if oxygen and hydrogen mix in the pipes? wont they get sorted anyway if they get to the liquid port?
Yes and no. What I did not explain is that I am using the floor to cool the liquid. a few more degrees to keep it from phase changing in the pipes. You can do this however you want, but it is a reason to separate the liquids.

Err, you do realize there is no longer a need to separate the LO and LH side, you just pump it as soon as it liquifies...and you dont care if it mixes, the port will sort it out...
I think you'll wind up with a lot of solid oxygen waste if you try to cool them together
Well plan A became plan B when I realized I could use the rockets that way. Filtering the liquids was not part of plan A.
They really got to patch that exploit out.

I was disappointed with the quality of the liquid hydrogen rockets. Nuclear ones are much better.
Ps: 300 cycles later, manage to cool the magma meteor enough to get niobium.

@@brothgar I wish "slow" was their only problem. If you could actually make use of the 35 tile height, they'd be okay, but as it is...
35 height - 5 for engine - 2 for oxidizer - 10 for 2x fuel (5 ea.) = 18 height left with 18 range, 6 less range than radbolt with 2 less available height while also slower.
For cryofuel rockets to be worth doing, they need a significant buff. Something like:
A) Significantly faster, like 1.5x-2x radbolt speed.
B) Fuel tanks need to carry 2x-3x current fuel, to allow for more available height for similar range to radbolt.
C) Engine needs to have in-built fuel storage, for similar reasoning to B.
D) Add a destination 13 tiles away from the nearest asteroid, that can only be reached with cryofuel. This destination would essentially have to provide a second source of significant isoresin, to allow for the tree to continue sucking as badly as it does.
