hey dont hate the 400, its got more scanners/computers and the cooling which should make it a better explorer eventually compared to the fighting focused connie etc.
What the hell is a METER!? Great video.also there is a cargo door. You have to open it. It holds 1 box.
I love my 600i Explorer, but that's about as far as I care to go with Luxury ships and vehicles, unless they come out with a large RV style ground vehicle with more than a couple seats. Good thing these small vehicles are super cheap in-game, in case I ever change my mind.
Until CIG introduce missions that require or benefit from "luxury" there is no benefit, but that is something that CIG has promised to eventually create.
Yeah I'd also love to get missions to transport NPC's *and* a vehicle or cargo along with them, it could be a really neat addition for some more pay.
What have they not promised yet ?

You kind of touched on it at the end of the video, but it really needs to be said: Literally the only reason to buy *any* ground vehicle is as an LTI token, since the aUEC/USD value is an order of magnitude lower than any ship. To clarify: if you have a ship worth 50USD and a ground vehicle worth 50USD, the ground vehicle will cost around 1/10 to 1/5 the price of the ship in aUEC once it is available to buy in game.
Since there is no real gameplay for any ground vehicle for the foreseeable future, there is no need to spend real money.
I have to agree. It's a well done vehicle but there's no functionality currently or in the visible future.
Short answer: Yes, get it but only if you know you want it, not if you're on the fence about it. I'll bring my own champagne while sitting in my comfy, luxury chair to feel like I'm fancy while in the Lynx. I will add though, I did a $5 CCU on an LTI token I already had and planned to use for getting a Lynx if it looked nice.
I’d not have bought one but as it comes with the Phoenix I have one and it’s not the best design but atm it does drive pretty comfortably. Substandard URSA with a better view and nicer suspension.
I love the Lynx. I'm going to be a space realtor and scout out desirable land claims, setup basic base buildings, then sell them (for a profit of course). I imagine flying in clients on me E1/85x. After the arial tour, we transfer to an awaiting Lynx to explore in more detail their potential new home. I just wish it didn't have guns. Why does everything need guns. It's star CITIZEN not star soldier lol.
The constellation Phoenix and 890jump were never sold as transport ship. They are not in that category.
Umm....the Ursa has 4 jump seats in the back, and 2 crew seats, for a total of 6, not 4. The two rovers do NOT have the same seating capacity.
I have one as part of my phoenix, I do wish there were some actual gameplay reason to take it over the Ursa, which just seems to be better right now. Maybe make it have better speed/handling (which would make sense if its transporting wealthy passengers, you want them to get to their location quickly and safely). Would even out the reduced passenger capacity weaker combat capabilities.

I have currently purchased the Banu Merchantman (BMM). I have a CCU token for BMM to the Polaris.
Should I keep the BMM or up it to Polaris. I would like to hear your opinion.
Example, which is going to be the better money maker and which is not. (All hypothetical as both ships are not out). I like combat, but the older I get the slower I become, I’ll be mostly PvE.

The 890 Jump was never really never sold as an RPG ship or a transport ship. The 890 Jump was originally sold as an exploration ship with guns. You do not find the words touring or transport ship on the chair letter for the 890 Jump. The pledge promise for the 890 jumps what do find the words exploration in all the marketing. The constellation Phoenix was never sold as a just luxury ship. This is legally false adverting or a scam.
The next rover they need to make is one with a bed and then they might nake sense having one

Both the Ursa and the Lynx have weapon racks.
SC is too stressful currently (due to being in alpha) for meaningful luxury gameplay
Unless it's used as an LTI token, it's better to just buy one in-game.

No,
but if they ever came out with a URSA Saint Medical ursa thats basically a crawling C8R, id buy the shit outta that and stuff it in every ship i have that can carry it so i have a pocket medical bay wherever i go. I hate eating and drinking, so this would be nice to have.
