- We've always wanted to shoot a video where we say YES to everything 😂
So we thought why not do it when we've made our way in our van around Morocco to the largest market in the world.. what could possibly go wrong?!

The day was hilarious, we spent a load and we wanted to make the video to inspire you guys to be YES men and just say YES more.. you never know what adventure it might take you on 😂 (or what wonky nike tick YOU could get shaved in the side in your head)

I’m sure you guys are already diligently researching how to best take care of them! Just a tip switch out the fake plants for real ones (but do it in a different tank to allow the plant to build up carbon dioxide in the water before they get in it.)
Real plants will absorb ammonia, nitrites and nitrates from fish poop.
Chav’s already got it with the filter suggestion! Smooth sailing to all four of you!

Keep the goldfish in neutral temperatures. Their water can get hot and cold the same way you do. Keep them out of direct sunlight when its hot and move them closer to a heater and farther from windows when it's cold.
Last I saw they still didn't have a working heater

Guys! I got 2 fish from a fair with my girlfriend and I assumed they would be super easy to take care of but they actually need a lot more care than I realized. Firstly you need to give them oxygen or they will die like our little guys 😭
I do believe that the fish should have a much bigger tank, what you have now is of course better than what they used to live in! Though it depends on the type of goldfish, when they are full grown, 10 gallons of water is ideal for the best living conditions. Many goldfish can actually get quite big! It’s a bigger commitment than most people expect! Tap water is fine for them, but it’s has to not have chlorine (I believe you can buy water conditioner or something from pet stores to put in the tank to keep the water safe for them to be in). Many people keep fish in small tanks and such, and the fish do fine, but these are just recommendations I’ve heard for happy healthy fish! But congrats on your new family members! Love your channel! You guys are great!❤️

Thank you Kaitlin - many people have mentioned a bigger tank. Once we get them home we have a huge tank they can go in 🤓 We used our filtered water so hopefully this is okay for them, looking into a water filtration system tomorrow too 😊 Thanks for the advice! We need it 😂

Eeep fish pals💕💕💕 definitely change the water often, while you dont have a filter. Goldfish are very dirty fish, sadly. Also, once you get a filter change 20% of the water about once a week while yall have them in that size tank. It wont be as much once you get them a larger tank. Ideally 30 gal or more is best for your cuties. Good luck💕💕💕 I enjoy watching yalls adventures💕💕💕

If Father and Delores made it through the initial dunk you're ok. (Usually you put the bag in the water to come to even temperature before you release them). I'll pray for your family's survival. I love saying yes! I've always been a yes girl and it's gotten me into way too much trouble, but it was good trouble (I guess) Love you guys.

Love your channel ❤️but the fish thing is cruel😱😱😱. Please give the Fish to someone who knows what they need!!!! Those Fish need a much bigger tank, a pump/filter otherwise there will be not enough oxygen to breathe, constant water temperature (+-5 degrees is not a problem but in the bus you have much bigger changes) , regular water changes, etc. Those are not pets for the road!
You need a water filter and a thermometer for your fishtank, also i'm afraid goldfish will get a lot bigger than your current tank so keep that in mind. I'm sure you lovely people will take a good care of your newest family members. Love your content!
The fish 😂😂😂 I had a beta fish in college named "Squishy the Fishy" and I used to put him in a mason jar and put him in my cup holder to drive home for the holidays. I loved my little Squishy! Just be sure to have a cool spot for them when the bus is in the sun! You don't want to bake them! And obviously you will want to secure their tank somewhere so that they don't spill when you drive 😉 Happy fish parenting!

Great video as usual. Would love to visit there. Hopefully father Maurice and Dolores have gotten over the shock of being chucked into the tank without the time to acclimatise step! Maybe get a lid for the tank (for when you have to drive on rough roads) as you don’t.want them to leave their home without permission🤣

He was hugging me around the waist, looked up in my face, got a mischievous smile and said, “Mommy… ladies have chinas.” I’m trying in my mind to figure out what he’s telling me. When I did it was hard to keep from laughing. I told him, “Yes they do… and if you ever have any questions you can ask me.” He laughed, rolled his eyes and said, “MOMMY!!!” 😆

Goldfish can get huge, the bigger the tank, the bigger they're going to grow. Upgrade to a 5 gallon and leave it at that! Get a simple filter to keep the water moving and If you can find an algae eater (plecostomus) it will help keep the tank a little cleaner. Congrats on your new babies and looking forward to seeing your future grand fishies... On that note, maybe invest in a thermometer if you're not ready to be grandparents yet. 😘
I wonder how well they'll travel on all the bumpy, sloshy roads, or if they'll get seasick...
Actually fish will grow as large as it's container, so a little container, little fish! If you throw a gold fish into a lake, (some people have, but that is a very bad idea. They are invasive species.) they get as big as a large carp! (Which they are bred from). The general rule is one inch fish per one gallon of water.
Maybe some drops for the water it keeps them safe from tap water.
B4 I fed my sister's goldfish all the food at once( she was on kindergarten, I was home as 4 y.o.). I think I learned it helps the fish if you set the replacement water out for 24 hours. But I don't know why since I was four. And they were not able to make it in a tank full of wet fish food. RIP
Goldfish die young because their insides keeping growing despite a small container. Also, they don't have a heater in their bus.
Was in Fez in 1975 with some Danes I met in Tunisia. We tried to ditch the guides after the first day thinking we can explore without them. Well, we didn't go very far when we realized we could easily get lost....Also found out that the guides get commissions from some shops and will steer you away from shops that don't have a 'contract' with them. All this from a retired guide.They are very shrewd business people.

So funny! Oh, and about the fish, yeah, not tap water. You need to de-chlorinate the water first. Also, goldfish need a much bigger place, so get them a bigger tank ASAP, they grow fast. They also poop a lot, so you will be doing water changes often, it would be best to get a filtration system in the new tank too. In other words, they aren't as simple as people make them out to be. ;)
We were some of the last toursits in Morocco, March 2020 and even with the pending doom of lockdowns, we had an amazing time. Great country and people
I laughed so hard. Umn your fish need a filter guys... they need air going into the water.. also you should treat the water for chlorine etc, and get the fish used to the water temp by floating the bag in the tank... not just dumping them straight in the tank🤣🤣

If you’re feeding your goldfish flaky food, you should pre-soak the food.
Goldfish are natural bottom-feeders, so when the flakes sit on top of the water, it causes your goldfish to gulp. This can upset their swim bladder and equilibrium-causing them to float upside down.
Fill a cup with some water from the tank and swirl around their meal in the water. You can then dump the whole cup into the tank for your goldfish.
I’d also get some aeration bubbler, because they need oxygen in the water and make sure you clean the tank often because they poop a lot which makes the water toxic. 🐡

I had a friend in grade school who was from Morocco and she and her family made me feel safe and cared for every time I went to her house and I never left hungry. Loved them dearly, then her dad was stationed with the US Army back to Morocco and they moved. Fantastic food. yummmm
Fish tip, you can use tap water but put it in a different container for 24 hours to get rid of any chemicals in the water..then add the fish to it..i feed mine a little in the morning and little at night. Congrats to your new babies..lol..❤❤🐟🐟

Just FYI, goldfish require 20 gallon tanks each for them to live a decent life. That tank looks like 0.5 gallons.

I loved this video. You both crack me up so much. I’m inspired to go out of my comfort zone and say “YES”, but I usually do anyways. “Do you want to jump off a perfectly good building in a controlled free fall? Yes, I do! Do you want to hike the Grand Canyon rim to rim? Yes, I do. Do you want to get a tattoo. Yes, I do.”
Those fishies need a filtration system, freshwater ones are super easy to maintain. You're supposed to put them into distilled water. You can get them a couple of moss balls and some live plants, just get a pH testing kit to make sure the pH stays correct at all times, it's good for the fish and it ensures the plants will live. There are also cheap chemicals to keep everything healthy. Try and buy them high quality foods it will actually bring out a lot of beautiful colors in their scales. Make sure you're giving them food with fiber and greens it helps prevent the bloating disease that can make them swim funny. The bloating disease is literally just them being bloated they need fiber to stay regular. It is good to get them some sort of sucker fish or shrimps because they eat a lot of the overgrowth and bacteria. If you're going to introduce a new fish or any new critter you need to make sure to quarantine them for 10 days to make sure they don't bring any diseases. Also make sure to get a thermometer and some sort of temperature regulator because fish can't get too cold or too hot. When you clean the tank and put new water in it you need to make sure the temperature of the water that they are waiting in is the same as the temperature that they will be going into. When you first put them into their new tank you should have kept them in the bag and put the bag into the water and let the inside water reach the same temperature as the outside water. These are all things I learned trial and error having my own freshwater fish tank I loved it and I can't wait to get another one one day. Love you guys! Stay safe ❤️.

Even though I’m sure loads of comments about the fish will end up doing ya bloody head in, just incase you’ve had none… I need to mention that they need a much bigger tank unfortunately, roughly 40 litres per fish minimum. They need a filter as well and an oxygen pump at the very minimum.
A tiny tank fast becomes toxic and loses oxygen. People always think the fish are fine and doing ok, because they haven’t dropped dead, but they are mighty resilient and can survive awful conditions, in misery and suffering, slowly suffocating and becoming poisoned over time.
They actually live quite long lives when well kept but people also think they’re short lived because of how often they die, due to being kept as mentioned above. Really sad!

You could always drop me a message and I’ll be happy to help out…I’ve kept all kinds of fish for over 30yrs so I have a good understanding of what they need and I’m not trying to sell you anything, like most ‘experts’ 😉 so I can give you a heads up and offer independent advice.
They’re super easy once you know how and also very cheap to feed. They eat a lot less that people think and require little cleaning etc.
A decent filter and a 10% water change now and again, will keep them happy.

Tap water for the fish is okay if you also use 'tap safe'. You need to clean them out weekly too. Those Goldfish can grow to a significant size and can live for many years too, so youll soon need a larger fish tank.

Put tap water in a clean container with a lid. Let the get room temperature before adding to the tank. You will need something to help filter water to keep it clean. You two are naturally funny.

You have to check the water with special paper strips you get at the pet store. The color, the test strips tell you what you need to do chemical wise.

You’re supposed to let the water temperature even out by hanging the bag inside the aquarium water for a few hours , then pour the fish in. The sudden temperature change of even a few degrees can kill them. That’s what I was to,d anyway. Love you guys!

You did travel in the past, but in Morocco the past is very vivid , indeed.I do appreciate your positive interactions with locals.Enjoy your stay in Morocco each second , because life is very short on earth whatever you are.
Love you guys very much but I gotta say....you probably should've passed on the fish. I'm an aquarist so I care for fish for a living and that tank is not near big enough, it needs a filter and aeration so they can breathe properly, you need dechlorinator for the water, and you'll have to do water changes weekly. Please please please look into what these animals require. Fish are one of the most notoriously neglected animals in the pet trade. I know you aren't the type of people who would want anything ill-suited for them.
Agreed! Another important thing to know is that aquaria need good bacteria to help process the fish waste and keep a stable environment for the fish--don't change all the water at once or scrub out the whole tank to clean it. A small tube used as a siphon will help clean out the waste.
Of course - I mean, we didn't get much training out of the guy in the shop with the language barrier. But as soon as we got home we researched everything we needed to know and now know we need to add a few more things. They will be well looked after don't you worry - we'll sort them out good and proper with everything they need 😆 They're family now after all!
