When I’m sewing my kids run and hide because I swear so much when things go wrong.
🤣 It sure brings the angry out of me sometimes.
😉😀
🤣🤣💀
Amen
As a beginner I really wish I had found your channel sooner- I love how you explain everything so calmly and thoroughly and show every step :) thank you!
Thanks so much!! 😊💕
Yes ma’am! I love how you made it in two separate pieces so you could mix and match. I would have loved to see the yellow sleeves over your navy top. 😍
this one is for sure my favourite! the red and white one was a close second hehe
Thank you!! 😊💕
Same for me!
I’ve seen the reference pin you used for inspiration, and I actually pinned it. I think this perhaps would have looked better in a stretch or performance fabric, or even if you upcycled leggings? I actually think upcycling legging like this would be pretty cool. I do like your end result though, good job
Love your realness! That part at end, running outta thread......GIRL SO ME!!! I felt you right there. Takes me a hundred years to sew one seam.
I enjoy your realness even when you make your mistake as we all due. The outcome is always on point love your up cycles and FB group👏🏾❣️
Thanks so much!! 😁
You are absolutely right ! The inside out is how my mom used to do it
I love more warned separately. I will definitely dyi the bolero. I imagine a flashy color like neon for summer time
Yes yes yes yes it’s my favorite and for sure the yellow gives it the perfect pop!
Get that coverstitch machine. You won't be disappointed.
Every machine has something to figure out, so what 😊 I think you'll be joyful in the end!
Have Fun! 😊
I think the lace up 2-tone sweater is my fav but this one turned out top notch, super professional.
Love the way you take an Awhh Man, and turn it into an Ooo Wow.
Your spatial skills are incredible. Love the little top to wear with other things. I am off to listen to the other 3 vids. Stay safe.
Thank you!! 😊💕
This is on point...... I feel you with having so little to left to sew and..... run out of thread
I really like this one too! I'm going to my closet after watching these videos to see if I have some sweatshirts to work with. Really enjoying these videos.
The planning of all these videos. We didn't deserve this😭 also you killed this:)
those sleeves! with my upper arms, I'd wear them with EVERYTHING!!!
Yesss!
Your work is so magical I'm about to believe in santa again 🥰💖🥰💖🥰💖🥰💖
You have such a warm, positive spirit.
Thank you!! 😊💕
You are seeeeeewwwwwww smart lol. Looks great on your clavicle (giggle)
😂 Gotta appreciate the small things!
It looks so good! 😍 I'm glad it's yellow because that makes it pop even more. Definitely my favorite
Thanks so much!! 😁
The zig-zag-stitch tip is amazing! I didn’t know that! I hope Santa heard my wishes for a sewing machine🧑🏻🎄
That yellow would look great with the navy top you're wearing too.
Ooh yes! I didn't even think of that.
gorgeous. I also hate when I run out of thread..you are so creative.. thank you
I like this one and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who talks to themselves when they sew! You are refreshing, honest and inspiring!!
Yayyy, I'm not alone! Thanks so much!! 😁
Definitely not alone! I talk myself through all sorts of creative tasks! Helps me focus 😊
Tip for when you run out of thread like you did and only have a short distance to go. Fill up a bobbin from the remaining spool of thread and use the bobbin as your second spool.
Love it Angelina ! As time goes on you will have more favourites too ! Thats how it should be, thanks for showing and sharing.
I knew You will accomplish All of them 👍‼‼‼Bravo
Thank you!! 😊💕
I run an extra bobbin of the same thread when I use a twin needle and use that on my second spool pin. I wish I was as creative at seeing things the way you do. So inspirational!
🤦🏽♀️ That makes so much sense! Thank you!! 😊
That library card catalog cabinet! We used to have them (yes, I taught kids how to use them, lol) at the school where I teach. When they converted to computers I wish I had asked to have the old cabinets :(
YEP YOU READ MY MIND ABOUT SERGE TRIM. THAT WOULD LOOK FANTASTIC!!!
WORK IT DIVA! CAN'T STAND YOU!! LOL!!
I LOVE the shrug! My arms are cold almost always, but adding a sweater/sweatshirt makes me too hot. Can't wait to try this out! TFS
SMART is amazing!! You crack me up 😂😂😂😂
Wow that's an interesting piece. I like how you just get in there, and just do it.
I love this, and like you, “I don’t give yellow enough credit”. I also wanted to say, that not wanting to stop, and try on things, isn’t lazy. I think it the acknowledgment, that it’s a disruption to the creative process. Who wants to break their flow? Of course we understand how important it is to the success of the project, but we’re still not lazy, for having second thoughts about doing it. Finally, I love your enthusiasm, and excitement over your creations. You’re such a good example, of loving ourselves, and basking in our accomplishments!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Yassss! This is my favorite!! I totally love this and this is the one I chose. I wish I can sew. I recently bought a Singer and right now it's on the floor. I am inspired and I'm going to try this. Wish me luck!
As always... leaving me word less... luv ur creations... ur mind ur creativity is beyond this world....
I really love it! You're so inspirational, I'm really thinking to do this in the future.
Yayyy! Thanks!!
So glad you did all 4! I love this. Looks amazing
That is a cat walk outfit. Three outfit for a weekend away. All made by hand. So good. Great work.
I changed my mind. This one is my favorite. Too hard for me tho.
My goodness, how gorgeous! It would also be dope to have a hoodie attached to the top piece when you just wanna have a hoodie day without a full hoodie & not changing your outfit! Love love this! 💛💛
Come through, Angelina! Yesssss!
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
This is perfect! I've been thinking of getting some sort of extra sleeve thingy for running. Your upcycle is inspirational!
Cute! I love yellow.
I voted for this and I love that you decided to do a tutorial on it. I'm obsessed and I need to get a sweater ASAP.
Thanks so much!! 😁
I totally feel you! I love choose your own adventure books, and this is definitely my favorite! I was excited to see you do this upcycle, then you started with that jacket and I was like, WAIT! I have one of those style jackets that I don't enjoy wearing as it is, so now I totally have to try this DIY 😁 I think I would prefer sewing the two pieces together and treating it as one, but we'll see how it goes.
Thanks so much!! 😁 Yes, I was thinking about making it one piece too because I think it would be easier to wear that way.
I love this , so need to try this one!
Great job loving the color yellow..
You bringing out my creative side.. Thank you!
This One! I’m here for it and all that it can coordinate with!
I loved this one...I want to do one with a hood. I saw another youtuber suggest using a thin elastic when turning in the edges on stretch fabric. They said it helps prevent some of the over stretch or rippling.
Wow this one was complex! I loved ‘will I be smart or will I not be smart?’, I’m going to start saying that. I liked the sleeve bolero piece, you’re on to something. Thanks for making me laugh with your cute clavicles! 😉
Beautiful as always! And the roadblocks are so relatable as usual 💕
that transition between the two outfits!!
Love it!! 😍 What I do when I only have one spool of thread of the color that I need for a twin needle: I just use that one to thread a bobbin (one that goes at the bottom) and I use it on top next to the big spool
i relate on the thread part hahaha. i've been doing upcycling because of your vids and i'm running out of threads already (lots of different colors) XD
The shrug!! ✊🏻 💕 That just makes this, I love it
I enjoyed how you made each of these "hoodie" upcycles your own. I liked all of them, but it's cold where I live and cut outs just mean a cold breeze! LOL. I like the bolero jacket from this a lot. And I will need to try the double needle because knit fabric and i are not friends at the sewing machine!
Ohhhh emmmm geeeee girrrrl thank you so much new subscriber!!! I have been feeling guilty getting rid of clothes and trying to upcycle, you even gave me the idea for my kids clothes, my daughter's winter shirts that won't fit her next year but the material is still light and flowy, I cut the sleeves to make tank tops and can now use for summer!!!!!
Yesss! Welcome to the BlueprintDIY family! 🤗
Yesss, that tiktok transition at the end. I was hoping for more
True story, I don’t sew and I’m not sure I truly have a desire to. I often have no idea what you’re doing until the final product. But I LOVE your upcycle videos! Thanks for the great and entertaining content.
THIS. THIS. THIS... is SOOO right!! It's so cute and looks store bought 😍 So smart. I love your channel and will be going to try this!! So cool⭐💛⭐
GURL!!! I FREAKIN FEEL YOU ON THE THREAD OOOH! #$$%$^%^$%!!!!
Loved loved Loved how it turned out 💞💞💞
This one is my favorite!!!!
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
Omg Angelina I didnt know this was posted but I FEEL YOU. Everytime im almost finished, something happens!!!
Cute. I want to know how to do this on a button down. Saw one and it was Fab!!
I love the finished product. Yellow is my favorite color you did a amazing job love. I like the top to it can be rocked many ways.
Thank you!! 😊💕
Love this. Can we see a plus size edition
I should try this with this two piece velvet set I thrifted a while back. Looks so great! Welp on to the next video lol
Just AWESOME!!!!
Thank you!! 😊💕
Came out nice! Juki is my favorite. Used to use a walkin foot for leather.
And yeah, try yellows, also a fave color of mine. Sweeeet! 👋❌⭕❌⭕
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
Def my favourite.
Your vision is incredible!!! I’m going to try this one as soon as I find a similar shirt to start with….was thinking I could use any sweater though🤔
this looks amazing def will try
Yayyy! Thanks!
So excited for this series. I hit the thrift store yesterday n found what I need. Paid $1.10 per clothing item! Should be able to make 2 sweatshirt/cable sweater items & 9 shirts like your white mens dress shirt tunic!Turned around & donated all my items slated for Goodwill & just in time. Cali is locking down again sunday so I'll have projects to work on - my Christmas gift to myself! Yaaassss!
Yayyy, I'm so glad! 😁
Oh, when you run out of thread like that, you can always wind a bobbin with thread you have and then just use the bobbin as if you would regularly use a spool of thread
You are so talented! I love the yellow!🥰
I love how you can copy something & make it your own!! I wanted a top to go with my Van shoes. I had a white t shirt & 1 that had the black/white checkered border square. So I cut out the square & glued it to the white t shirt. Vola! I got the top I wanted. Found a checkered shoe string & attached it to my sweatshirt on the sleeve. Got another top to match my Vans.
Yes, I love how it comes out completely unique too!
Guuurrrlll you did it AGAIN!!!! I LOVE IT!!!
I don’t know if I’ll be trying this one because I’m still teaching myself how to sew, so I know I’d be saying some not so nice words and throwing my machine on this one lol.
Wow! This turned out amazing! Super cute.
I keep thinking about your teen daughter’s eye rolling reaction to the inspiration shirt ( in the intro video)
😂 she will realize what a cool mom she has when she grows out of her teens.
Wow.....this sooo gooood.
Thank you!! 😊
You are full of surprises 🤩🤩 Love it! 🔥
Thanks so much!! 😁
You really have inspired me with this ~ thanks for reminding us not to cut the back piece so our sleeve top stays intact.
I loooooove this ,I have to try this
Looks amazing!!
I think YOU are my favorite! Guurl, you are inspiring and entertaining to watch. Thank you for your time and great videos.
New subscriber. Been Watching your vids for weeks now.
I love this one!!!
I really like the finished project on you. It a little too much exposure for me to feel comfortable. But I do like the idea of the shrug being able to wear over other sleeveless tops. Good for those that suffer from the bat wings underarms. Yea I was watch video from Noble Strength wear she was using a bright color for winter as an accent. I usually reserve these colors for summer and spring. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
I literally love all the upcycles, help
Thank you!! 😊💕
You have me so inspired!!!
I love everything 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Love, love,love it.
Thank you!! 😊💕
This. Is. SO. COOOOOL 😍
i love this one! definetly would love to try it! with a bit adjustments :)
Yayyy! Thank you!! 😊
this is the cutest
I love this!!
I love Juki machines.
