Its legal to shield but it's not legal to shield push when a player does not have the ball. The kid in blue has the right to go after the ball. The kid in blue went after the player instead. It was very much and intentional foul. Should have been called and a free shot should have been rewarded. Very bad reffing for sure. Watch it in slow motion it really shows what happened and just how bad it was.
