Gday Tim, I am Aussie and have watched most of your videos and it’s been entertaining. I have just subscribed to your channel after reading a lot of negative stuff but you know what? You are making a lovely underprivileged family a lot happier and to see the smile on your wife’s face every time you spoil her is a joy. I know the Philippines culture very well having many friends from that country and having had a piñay wife. It’s not easy as a foreigner and despite the negative comments you get I am supportive. Just make the best out of the new opportunity you have because it’s a chance to prove the doubters wrong.
So happy you have got your voice back Tim. Hi Chrissy say happy birthday to your Mum from me love. I hope you have good health while carry the baby. Thanks for the video. Xxx😘😘
Happy birthday chrissy mum. She is a nice girl like her mum and simple woman. Wow I love Christmas decor and all about Christmas about. Thanks Tim for d great video
Hey Tim, I just wanted to say that ever since you’ve been vlogging in the Philippines it’s been interesting and fun for me to watch. It’s intriguing to watch how you try to adapt to the cultural difference. And congratulations to both you and Chrissy many blessings and happiness for you both.
Tim, so proud of you for buying mom a washer/dryer! Was just thinking about their family the other day and how they scrubbed their clothes, wishing they had a machine, then boom you get them one!!❤️👍🏼
Hi Tim, Good shopping spree. Useful birthday gift. Enjoy birthday celebrations. Please convey my best wishes to Chrissy’’s mom for a happy birthday day.
Best wishes to Chrissy's mom on her birthday and looking forward to the video of a big party with "letchon" and red horse hehehe, and a view of pretty Hanna at the party. - AC
@@TimKyoutube no worries mate, I was kinda taking the micky out of how silly the whole 'Christmas' shopping season has become all over the world, but I will definitely wish you both a good one in 2 months 😄👍
You should seriously have the baby in the US, that way he/she will be a US citizen with all the benefits that is citizen has. People kill to have a US citizenship,. G;day Tim and your sweet TimTam, I accidentally clicked on one of your videos and was amazed at what I saw.So now my intentions are to watch them all..I am in Brisbane Australia and having been to Philippines many times I certainly can relate to the places you have been to and are promoting such a wonderful place for the world to see. My partner is not far away from you in leyte and soon when she comes to Australia I will show here your wonderful expose you have created. I love the upfront and personal comments that are on the videos but have trouble with the visayan content. 18:05 because it's a practice when buying an electrical item to test it before purchasing it, its sort of an agreement between the two that the item left the building in good condition and no returns will be made accusing the store the item is faulty
I looked up the secret beach where you & harald went to in Tankaan, Barangay Tangkaan, Southern Leyte, Philippines , but where abouts is chrissy's family village on the island.
Thanks for sharing your daily life in the Phillippines, Tim. We get a fairly accurate idea on the cost of living in the archipelago nation - even better than Numbeo - and you also do the currency conversion. Nice to see you offer help to the senior lady.
Having lived in developing countries for 18 years, 8 of them in Asia, the reason they try your washer/dryer before you take it home is very likely because once you take it out the door it is yours. No Warranty, no replacement, it is yours. When you try it they know that when you bought it it was working, you can't bring it back saying it didn't work. Some places they even try light bulbs. The distributors and/or factories don't help them with broken goods and they can not absorb the cost themselves. Checking everything is the answer to avoid problems.
You should seriously have the baby in the US, that way he/she will be a US citizen with all the benefits that is citizen has. People kill to have a US citizenship,. Hi Timmy, love your vlog. I have been to P.I. twenty times and I know it can be frustrating. Thanks for keeping it real and not editing when you get a little upset. I am so happy for you and Chrissy, both fulfilling your dreams. I love your style but sometimes you could pan the camera smoother and slower. Stay the way you are. You and Chrissy are both examples of some of the best people your countries have to offer. May God bless your future.

If you need content, you should do a review on the satellite internet and maybe the washing machine. Were these purchases worth it? Keep up the great work! Btw, when is Harald coming back? You guys make a hilarious pair.
Good Times in PI Happy Birthday!!!! They plug in washer to make sure it works the warranty sucks . I like the Bamboo couch and chairs, the bugs hide in the cloth furniture and bite me. I found that if I eat Keto =Meat and veggies I stay cooler and only need a fan. stay away from the coconut trees they leave big dents LOL
Tim, new to your channel and very good insight into life in the Philippines for an American expat. Are you as generous to your own mother as you are to Chrissy's mother? How did you meet Chrissy? Blessings
Tim, i think it is not practical to buy a dryer in the Philippines especially in the province. There is continuous breeze and the air is clean. Maybe if you stay in big cities like Manila, Cebu and Davao or in condominiums. But you are in the province. They can just hang and it will dry really quick.
Happy bday to ur future mother in law! Lets face it even tho u guys are not technically married yet...u are in spirit and she IS ur mother in law already lol. Good vibes to everyone!
That shop realy show they care for customers, what is the best pre paid sim card provider/company in that country. This internet thing you wanted is very expensive even for expensive countries like norway and sweden its almost same price but you can use how much you want each month. That means ex me in norway 2019 i had 100/100mbit and it costed around 50 dollars plus a 15-35 dollars more with tv channels depending on how many channels and phone, and in sweden 2019 i paid aprox 50 dollars for 100/100mbit with 40 tv channels and phone. And you dont have to pay for anything else not even if you downloaded everything on the internet or uploaded everything on internet. There is no limit how much you can use and it dont stop or cost extra.
Thats what I was talking about before Tim!! Happy you got a small rental car to run some errands. Hopefully the AirCon Worked!! I know car is small for you but do you know how many filipinos can cram in that small car? I usually had six or seven (family). If you found a used car like that you can teach Chrissy how to drive. My Filipina now drives everywhere of course with license she earned. Like everything else in the PI, doing paperwork and inspections on used cars can be Frustrating at times with LTO (No computers and run around) but it works. When she drives good, consider a new car for the both of you. Less hassle n maintenance costs. I know some cultural shock for you but also for Chrissy n her family, getting adjusted to the way you think, expect and do things. Examples, Not many washers and even less dryers in PI. Most times hand wash and hang dry but still a great gift for Mom to work with now. In the PI the stores will test everything out of the box for you to show you it works. Reason is because once you take it away satisfied you are not getting any refund trying to bring it back if you have a problem. Anytime you give money in PI its GONE!! you wont get any back. Therefore, be very careful helping people. They will ask you for loan because they know you are Rich Foreigner. The loan will never be repaid. Filipinos are usually shy talking about the money in the stores. If the wrong people are watching they may rob you at some point. The others will just gossip about the rich guy spending money. Some big ticket items, just pay half for the product and pay the rest when they come to deliver or install. Sometimes if you pay in full the product will not show up for at least a month. You will be given every excuse but NO money back because they say its delayed just a little more but its coming. Good on you for requesting a free T-shirt. A 3XL in PI is like a 1XL in the States. Just some observations and advice FWIW. Your mileage may vary. Great Video!! You and Chrissy are the BEST!!...Cheers.
