It's a difficult one. I never got it. I had slappy tail to switch crook but I lost it.... And every time I try it's a huge frustration...😅 Keep going Sir you got it!👊🏽
That was a sick battle. Don’t feel bad for not getting it in one day. That looks like a really hard combo. I wouldn’t even know how to start trying that. 👊
You did great. Don't be too hard on yourself. If you take a moment and open your mind like Jony Giger, you will succeed. Meaning, don't be afraid to bend your knees and finger flip your turn out instead of losing control of the board while upright. Adapt instead of getting more and more frustrated, right? Feel awesome, because you are awesome, Steve! 👍
appreciate ya checkin it out dude! you're definitely right. i gotta work on the dip/nollie motion. im just tryin to muscle into it and that aint gonna work
it's not just you dude! it's tough for me too. Some people make it look so effortless. We're both gonna get it

Just my 2 cents but I got a homie that does all kinds of ridiculous combo grinds and he told me once to think of that trick kind of like a nose manual by locking your back foot lower than usual so that you can do a mini pop to get into crook + lean back slightly and over the curb. Good luck bro hope you get it! I feel you on battling it out I’ve been battling bs nose grind Nollie fs 180 out and I’m on week 2 now and still haven’t put it down 😩
@@stickersteve007 yeah it seems hard to whip the tail back AND get the wheels on. Wonder if it’d be easier to get the tail forwards and pop the other wheel up there?
Slappy's are really high aren't they? Do you think having lower trucks might help with this? Maybe even throw on some small wheels. This would be a dope trick to get down.
i find if i do a slappy back nose and lift my back foot higher it just kinda pops into crook, but it's almost immediate i don't have any distance on the noseslide
@diplenski I could give it a shot. I'd like to get a nice noselide to a nice crook eventually, but maybe I should just work on a quick lil one. I just wouldn't count it in my head
Would it be cheating to use smaller wheels to get this one? Maybe those 45mm or 49mm wheels or you would't be able to build enough speed? That last one was so close. You'll get it next time. Great work bro.
Dude, i had a couple sessions recently where i landed NOTHING for 45 mins- 1.5 hours! Just over and over- its discouraging as hell man. But if u love skating its not an all around loss, right?
i was trying forever to get a good frontside grind on a quarter and finally got one. then i did it several times thinking i had it down. i still struggle until i get that first one then they seem easy. sometimes i just cant get that one though

@StuffnThings42 thanks dude. I'm a little bummer i didn't get it, but I live to skate another day. It'll be that much sweeter when I get it

@@stickersteve007 That's what happens when you skate. You can't stop thinking about it.
Dude it’s there!!! You’ve got the motion! On the decked curbs just think of it as a really quick dip and hop. This was a rad video!

@@stickersteve007 I remember I used to think of a cadence in my head…I’d say boom to myself for each part of the trick lol. And no problem at all!
@@eastcoastcurbkiller that actually makes a lot of sense!

I really appreciate that dude! Thank you.

Wow getting it up there is awesome. Seems hard to me.
It's harder than I expected
@@stickersteve007 yeah it seems hard to whip the tail back AND get the wheels on. Wonder if it’d be easier to get the tail forwards and pop the other wheel up there?
@@RikRiorik if the tail goes forward then the toe side wheel will grab the curb and hit the breaks. i kept doin that on accident
@@stickersteve007 makes sense.
Subbed! What’s seasons like? It’s still 100 here in AZ 😅
Seasons are nice and shit! It'll rain for months at a time here
I can't tell if your wheels are curved edges or not but I hear that helps
@eternalrewind2190 yeah they're curved pretty good. I just gotta figure out the technique
As your sliding, im throwing my head to the side like im going to help you pull the tail up lol
I'll summon your spirit on the next sesh

@dataghost2307 they're 53.9 mm tall. I want to learn em on the setup I'll always be riding. Small wheels would definitely make it easier
@@stickersteve007 maybe thats why im struggling with them. i love my big wheels

Counts
I wish. 2 to make it true
ok, help me out here...I can slappy tail, back tail, fakie tail (switch nose) but CANNOT for the life of me regs noselide...tips?
I have a trick tip video on the channel a couple months back. Check it out and ask anything..I'm glad to help if I can!
yo man. is it to fast for you if you go to crock like right after you start to nose slide? i dont know you probably cant adjust that quick
@chrhadden not a bad idea. I'll give it a shot.

@TheReal_DeanD to me it would be yes. I want to learn it on my setup
@@stickersteve007 you'll get it man. You have more integrity than me. If I had small wheels I'd do it on those first. Best of luck man.
