I love you all so much... I miss you're show so much
Silver skin was used as thread in the pioneer days. They dried it and used it to make clothes, moccasins and gloves.
There better be a part 2 to this to see how everyone enjoyed it .....
Justin, I’m sure you’ve been over on Robert’s Deer Meat for Dinner channel and it caught my attention that you made the deer meat for dinner comment. In watching his latest video he references Phil’s happy, happy, happy. Somebody wants you together and there is lots of interest among his 2.4M subscribers for a joint catch, clean and cook on ducks. Take this as our plea that DC and DMFD hook up and put an epic bayou duck hunt together. Thanks for the venison meal idea, we’ll try it out. Cheers.
I literally NEVER check out other channels on YT! But after all the comments and questions on my last video, I’ve been over here a few times reading comments!!! It’s so cool! I was actually hanging out with willie WAY back in about 2008 in a small booth at shot! The following year they were up for several awards!!! Life is crazy like that!
A collaborate would be great content content
Years later I noticed that as well
I love trying new recipes for deer, my wife loves those peppers on everything,so we're on it. When we kill one. Our season is just getting started.
Quick awesome recipe, young deer, one half whole tenderloin for two people, Marinade in olive oil good amount of Montreal steak seasoning over night in fridge. Grill rare med rare. Done is over cooked. So dang good !!!.
Hey! Sundance is close to where we live. My husband is out elk hunting and we prefer elk but love it that people like to early eat so they don’t stay go on the roads! 😂
Thanks Justin. Nothing better than backstrap and tenderloin. With this recipe it can't be anything but even better .
Couldn't agree more!
Man don’t even have to see the video the thumbnail just makes my mouth water dang wish I could be there lol love in it miss the old days man 😂😂🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️🦌🦌
OMG …. Martin I have never cooked backstrap that way .. but I’m going to trust you on this way to cook backstrap. …. but I can’t wait to try this recipe !!! Texas girl will let you know if I agree with you on this one !!!🇨🇱 ❤️
@tammyfarrell8653 how’d they turn out?
Love the cooking. Ever thought of ‘Manuka’ honey from Iceland or somthin like that. Or Not, it’s a local cooking thing and I wawnt some now!
Cherries and honey, wow! Looks so good.
J. Martin lookin’ all slim-n-trim! Great recipe sir!
So, you guys tagged out early; what did you get? I haven't been out yet. I did have a nice 12-point standing quartered away at 20 yards only two days before the season. I was prepping stands and had nothing to cast at him but aspirations as to his (possible) future demise.
Derlicious...shout out from imperial valley..🤠
Thanks Gene!
The thumbs down come from the haters that ain't killed nothing yet and their eating leftover meatloaf from 5 days ago.
Not necessarily. If you're gonna stuff it with 25 powerful ingredients what does your choice of meat matter? Heck, he could have used squirrel, rabbit, racoon, goose, duck...even chicken. Why go to all the trouble to obtain something so perfect as a deer backstrap, only to completely destroy it by stuffing it with all that crap? A venison backstrap or loin is very literally one of the most succulent flavors on planet Earth. Cut it into thin medallions, season with salt, pepper, garlic, and cook it in unsalted butter, medium rare. Serve it with perfectly cooked rice, green beans, blackeye peas, and buttermilk cornbread. That honors the wonderful meat. What this guy is doing is a freakin' travesty. Hell....you could stuff bologna with all that garbage.

I didn’t have any backstrap so I made with chicken breast! So good!! Thank you
I’ll post picture when done
That looks awesome i gotta try that
You should!
Justin, you are sooo funny! That amazing filling is gonna make it to our table with assorted crackers for sure! Thanks! Joan
Made these today. Guys they are good, give it a shot!
The meat looks so good.
Thanks! It was!
Dang Martin, that looks pretty good. The sausage and bacon part looked really good
Thanks Kyle!
@@DuckCommanderOfficial my pleasure
Geeeee that’s like the ultimate back strap wrap
It's our go-to recipe!
Martin's one of my favorites....loyal
Did ya just do a shoutout to Robert Arrington “ Deer Meat For Dinner”?!
What kind of sausage did y’all use!? Definitely gonna try this!
Man that looked so good
I cut the backstrap into very thin steaks and eat with noodles or rice to stretch it out. If I ate half a backstrap every meal, I'd be out of backstrap in less than a month. Between backstrap tenderloin and ground I eat it everyday all year cooking for 2
Great video guys
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brother, that looks amazingly delicious!!!!!
It was!
Love recipes
Glad you like them!
I love that channel (deermeatfordinner) !
I appreciate that! 🙏🙏🙏
@@deermeatfordinner as soon as he said those words I thought about you Robert1 BTW have you ever tried a recipe like this?
Dang, I feel an X appearin' on my shirt! LOL.... I gotta try that , wait..... ain't got no deer.....lol.
When's the Deer Meat for Dinner collaboration?
The back strap is not called tender loin the back strap is what is called or loin the Tender Loin is inside the body cavity of the deer also called the kidney pads if I’m wrong sorry for the bad correction
what is the silver meat like cartilage??
Just pointing it out for the people taking notes on the recipe: If 1/2 backstrap = 1 container of cream cheese, then 8 halves (4 whole backstraps) = 8 cheese, not 4.
My late husband tenderized it and put it in milk overnight and breaded and fried. It was so good and never tuff or gamey
We need more cooking videos
More coming!
You had me at "BACON!!"
And Honey😄👍🏻
Not gonna lie that looks amazing wish I was there to try some damn...
São Luís Maranhão Brasil
@Duck Commander y’all should do a series with @deermeatfordinner.

Benelli
Sausage, bacon, cream cheese, cherries? I believe that sounds purty dam' good. Different.
Would love to see a collab with Deer Meat for Donner! Mr Robert and y’all would get along great!
Ive never hunted but I really want to the rona has made it so I can’t and I just got old enough to hunt with my cousins but I can’t
Omg tenderloins are the most delicious!!!
Cut the entire width of the silver skin about an 1”, place silver skin side down, filet the silver skin off like a fish
We from Louisiana we don't measure nothing when we cook !
I've never butterflied a backstrap like that
1st things first
Honey....never thought of that..gotcha a pork glaze going.
U know u can see Si in the background saying No u all ain't doin it riaght..lol..wait he would say..I get first bite..lol
I'm starving...
You probably know this but you can filet that silver off like you would the skin off a fish. Lot quicker.
Whittaker guns the largest gun store in ky
he looks likes a robertson if ive ever seen one
Would have liked to had a better view of finished product and peoples reaction to the taste. Hate to waste my back strap without peoples reaction to the taste.
Why not throw in some sour cream, fetta and velveeta cheese, ranch dressing, hummus, salsa....maybe some mustard, mayo, ketchup...? I mean, if you're gonna completey BURY the unique, amazing flavor and texture of venison backstrap you might as well go all the way.
Godwin didnt "whoop um" eggs!
The random bare with his neck turned around
Thats Aldis bacon for sure
Marriage looks good on you "hair cut".
That filling would be delicious in chicken breast off the grill if you didn’t have deer meat
Deer meat for dinner
Gotta love it!!!
Wish the camera man would back up a foot, or two.
I can’t bring myself to put sugar laced cherries in my meat…
This whole time I have been asking why I don’t have a wife?!?! It’s cause I’ve been cooking her backstrap all wrong! I don’t blame her
I made this today and it was gross. The texture and combination of flavors were not good.
You need to marinate that venison in 7 up and Some season salts and onion and garlic powders. for a few days to get that nasty game taste out of the meat. ✌🏼
These could be so much better
You guys provide many links to gear you sell however zero interest in providing a written recipe. I’m out.
All that and we can’t see y’all enjoy it??
Man you need to learn how to work up a back strap you don't pull you cut duh
The camera man sucks. He videos his face the whole time it bugs the hell out of me
