@@2wheeldom11 man i want one too! Worked my ass off last years and have like 6k to spend one one.spotted one for 5,8k with the Akrapovic carbon exhaust system on it. Hope i can buy it lol would be the best deal ever
I have my tuned and rocking a quickshifter and jumping onto the new MT-09 it was such a disappointment and I was happy to jump back on my MT-07, older MT-09s rip but man the newer models suck and have to be tuned.
I’ve had so many big liter bikes years ago. Just got my FZ-07 the other day. I can’t wait to ride it. It’s gonna be a blast. Way more fun that a 170 horse heavy bike.
The sound and exhaust says Ducati Monster, the price and reliability says Yamaha. That exhaust sounds incredible, and definitely not too loud, but I also ride a bike with a Two brothers system on it, so my idea of loud might be a little different than some (two brothers are LOUD AF!)
Everyone always talks about power gains with exhausts, but it's normally the different feel a less restrictive muffler or full exhaust provides and the incredible exhaust note that make a difference as an owner. Real test is then to see whether you can live with it daily if you're commuting.
One of the best mods I made to my FZ07 was to replace the stock throttle tube with an R6 throttle tube. If you're still running a stock tube, change it out and you'll have a smoother and more enjoyable experience for sure.
It was kinda mean he did that to the kids - but others scream when he is in the open so it really is deep loud scary "like" a Husqvarna Nuda, but not quite there..
What's even better than the sound of the exhaust is that of papa Yam getting all excited about how awesome the bike I ride is.😎 Mine's stock and calls itself MT since am'a Eurobro, but yeah, feeling you right there papa. 😍
You can make eye bolt baffles by adding stainless steel washers bolted to an eye bolt, and holes drilled to attach them near the end of the exhaust pipes. I did this to one of my bikes to quiet it slightly and remove a power flat spot just above idle, in 2003. I am still riding this bike. The old pass inspection trick was to cram some metal kitchen pot scrubbers up the exhaust outlets, temporarily, maybe adding a metal screw or 2 to hold them in place.
I went with a full yoshi system, and it felt like it lost some bottom end until I installed a Flash Tune Data Link kit. Love it. You can install power commander maps and make adjustments to deceleration cut, fan temps, etc. Also, I kept the baffle/silencer in, it was TOO loud and just plain annoying without it in my case lol.
Well after doing some more detailed research, I know this is most likely going to be my first bike when I start riding, and now thanks to yammie senpai, I know what the first upgrade is gonna be as well 😎
That Leo Vince Dual exhaust is one I've been eyeing as a slip-on upgrade for my CBR500R. I just really love the dual exhaust look. I've also been looking at Ixil's dual exhaust too. Both look like they can really add to the looks of the bike and make some great sounds.
i have two silencers on mine (ixrace Z7 exhaust) and i only removed one silencer, so know i get the deep and crazy loud sound but not too much compare to no silencers at all! Perfect mix ;)
Everytime i watch yamy's vids i always daydream about me being where he is in the riding parts. Its just that i really like the setting. Cuz our country Philippines is cramped up roads.
me too bro im an imigrant im in turkey and the life this man is living is (THE) DREAM for me....wish i could feel the breez on my face when i ride my dream bike someday
I straight piped mine and it accelerated faster, as I seen when hitting redline in first so that’s cool. The not so good thing is that is proper jerky in low revs. If you can handle that’s you’ll love it they sound sick after with pops and bangs. I only took mine off because it was too loud for the tracks here in the UK😂
@Dakota Harless, anything would be better than stock but it won't sound anything like the FZ-07. This is because the Yamaha has a 270 degree crank which produces a more grunty distinct tone, something you don't usually find on a twin
I put the Akrapovic system on mine and love it! It might not be the loudest but I feel like it’s definitely the meanest and deepest sounding of all that I’ve heard. The note just has this bite to that really stands out to me. Not as good as the FZ-07 here but not far behind
I have exact same bike and color! My Yoshimura full system is coming in today and I'm just waiting for my ecu to come back in from getting tuned! I'll do a video of it once I install everything! Cant wait!
Out of all the twins I've ever heard, that's only the 2nd I've liked the sound of. Edit: Oh wait, that was after the . Too bad it got obnoxiously loud.
Yeah, the SV is a V-twin versus this inline, so definitely sounds better. Not sure why he talks about needing a full system, you only need the muffler to get a great sound.
Did you ECU tune it? I've heard that the fz-07 is really finicky when you open up the exhaust and it loses a lot of power. What do you think? (I'm also curious cause I'm looking into getting one. I love how they sound)
My has a slip on no cat, PCV, DNA stage 2 and professionally tuned on a dyno pushing out 70.7hp it was 68.4 before the tune. No idea what it was pushing stock.
I got mt10sp, after instaling decat and muffler there were almost no difference, only sound. But, when i replaced airfilter for k&n it is whole different story, bike is much powerfull now and very agressive and did not touch ECU at all
With the stock exhaust, the time between the twist of the throttle and the bike actually revving seems longer than with an aftermarket exhaust, can someone confirm that with a new exhaust, throttle response is improved?
That's a sexy bike. Saving up for my first one. Looking at getting an MT 125. Love the design. Can't afford a new one 😂 getting an older one. Good vid anyway
12:20 that's why in the netherlands and germany, nice riding roads are starting to be closed off for motorcycles... Take care that the same is not gonna happen in your country.
Sorry to break it to you but that exhaust did not wake up the power in the bike. You need a tune and some intake first. If anything it’s probably running a little leaner
It's not a beginner bike, it's a bike that's beginner friendly. After 30 years of riding and over 20 bikes nothing made me smile like my FZ-07.
U ain't lying, I have an fz-07 and it makes me smile every day. My new exhaust comes in today!
@@2wheeldom11 man i want one too! Worked my ass off last years and have like 6k to spend one one.spotted one for 5,8k with the Akrapovic carbon exhaust system on it. Hope i can buy it lol would be the best deal ever

same here !

@NotMyName this is an old post but I call my MT-07 Yamasaki
3 years later...."Yeah, this nitrous really has spiced up the FZ07 giveaway bike." Ha.
“This turbocharged R1 swap really wakes this bike up!”
This FZ07 jet bike giveaway is extra spicy now boys.
Yeah the turbo busa swap with nitrous really gives it just that bit extra that it was missing
Can't stress it enough, this electric conversion really gave this FZ what it needed
This ls1 swape really gave it that last little bit it needed to wheelie in any gear

Wait, wait...you worked on the exhaust and did not turn it on with straight pipes at 4:21 ? What is wrong with you? =D
FknDmn I’m pretty sure that’s in the instruction manual for any exhaust
“After removing stock muffler, proceed to rev the tits off it”
BamaBro80 Yeah it’s definitely procedure. I know because I do it every time.
FknDmn not pegging your bike immediately after removing the stock can is known to cause irreparable valve damage.
uuuhhh...im a noob can u explain what u just said?!🤣
nevermind i got it🤣👌👌
looks like Yam has been hitting leg day.
i was LITERALLY going to make this comment.
yams never missed a leg day in his lyfe
And skipping every other day
Skipping arm day is weird though
xBlockhead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That exhaust sounds gets me hyped up👌🍠 sounds gr8 papa yam
8:42 Man sounds like a teenager that just went through puberty and got his first kiss XD
12:27 Anybody recollect Royal Jordanian videos?! 😃
Pranay KP yeh the intro hahaah
YES HAHAHA
sound like RJ Nuda bike~ =D
It was kinda mean he did that to the kids - but others scream when he is in the open so it really is deep loud scary "like" a Husqvarna Nuda, but not quite there..
Husqvarna Nuda 900!! Awesome.
I dig it! Got a Akrapovič titanium on my fz07. The sound of this twin man... brutal!
What's even better than the sound of the exhaust is that of papa Yam getting all excited about how awesome the bike I ride is.😎 Mine's stock and calls itself MT since am'a Eurobro, but yeah, feeling you right there papa. 😍

That sound is crisp man. One of the best full systems ive heard
Well after doing some more detailed research, I know this is most likely going to be my first bike when I start riding, and now thanks to yammie senpai, I know what the first upgrade is gonna be as well 😎
Smoother throttle because engine has less power now! If you have the oxygen sensor in, give it some time. It will adjust itself.
The IDUBBZZ of the motorcycle community. 😂
That Leo Vince Dual exhaust is one I've been eyeing as a slip-on upgrade for my CBR500R. I just really love the dual exhaust look. I've also been looking at Ixil's dual exhaust too. Both look like they can really add to the looks of the bike and make some great sounds.

I'd love to get a MT 07 with that kind of spicy exhaust. My neighbours and cops around here would love it.
🤣👍🏼
I hear this sound nearly every day in summer and i totally love it 😍, my ride buddys always think the db killer isnt in, even though it is.
Looks like this exhaust sounds the best on the FZ07/MT07. Leovince got that perks with growly sound, like RJ with his Nuda 900r.
I watched it on my sound system. Its soo good when you hear the bass.
You're becoming The Royal Noobinian with that FZ
I just got a 2015 w an M4 muffler. Videos do the sound no justice. It’s so loud and deep.
Mt/fz-07 best exhaust note ever. Perfect throaty sound!
Now, THAT'S what an FZ-07 SHOULD sound like! From the factory, even a Zero electric motorcycle is louder than the FZ-07!
Yammie just straight kreaming the whole ride
Everytime i watch yamy's vids i always daydream about me being where he is in the riding parts. Its just that i really like the setting. Cuz our country Philippines is cramped up roads.
me too bro im an imigrant im in turkey and the life this man is living is (THE) DREAM for me....wish i could feel the breez on my face when i ride my dream bike someday
Holy fuck full systems on the FZ make it sound absolutely demonic. I can hear the smile on your face through your voice in this one for sure.
I watched this video again and again while I waited for the exhaust to be delivered for my fz07. I now know his joy.
how the exhaust and how loud it is
Papa yams laugh of satisfaction in the beginning 😂
Damn it, Yammie. I was gonna wait, but after watching this video I think i'm gonna go ahead and order that TST tail light.
I felt a little blood rush to the tip when you rolled the throttle back.
Hey did you have to put a power commander to tune after the exhaust change?
I put a full Two Brothers on my 16 FZ07, sounds Nasty. Love the bike. I also did programmer and air Box. It flies!!!
Should I touch the exhaust on a kawi 650r?
Straight pipe it bro
I straight piped mine and it accelerated faster, as I seen when hitting redline in first so that’s cool. That really does sound amazing! Will the same system fit onto my Tracer 700?
Bro, this is true genuine excitement. I love it
Out of all the twins I've ever heard, that's only the 2nd I've liked the sound of.
Edit: Oh wait, that was after the . Too bad it got obnoxiously loud.
Love the sound, actually reminds me of my SV650.
Yep 1987fx16 >>> I heard that too >>> I loved riding with a badd ass g-frd that had one (SV 650) >>> she kicked asss jumping on my GSXR too!
1987FX16 hell nah that sv650 sounds like crap the fz07 sounds 100x better
Yeah, the SV is a V-twin versus this inline, so definitely sounds better. Not sure why he talks about needing a full system, you only need the muffler to get a great sound.
SV650NYC sorry I know you posted this 11 months ago but it bothers me that you called it an in-line twin when it’s a parallel lol
I think you are correct, the other owner put on the stock pipes but did not remap the puter.
Hey where did you order that gp dual setup from? Thanks in advance.
Did you ECU tune it? I've heard that the fz-07 is really finicky when you open up the exhaust and it loses a lot of power. What do you think? (I'm also curious cause I'm looking into getting one. I love how they sound)
He said he hasn’t tuned it yet. Just took it out for a test ride for now. It was also tuned previously.
They do lose some power, but it‘s not that much. Some people don‘t even notice it. Like a few hp, depending on the brand.
My has a slip on no cat, PCV, DNA stage 2 and professionally tuned on a dyno pushing out 70.7hp it was 68.4 before the tune. No idea what it was pushing stock.
Depends on exhaust. My exhaust benefits from the stock ecu is weird. Best setup is a akrapovic.
I got mt10sp, after instaling decat and muffler there were almost no difference, only sound. But, when i replaced airfilter for k&n it is whole different story, bike is much powerfull now and very agressive and did not touch ECU at all
-Mr. Noob, there is a problem with your hornet.
-What is it?
- Your fuel tank is covered in hentai!
Tech : "There's a lot going on with this bike."
Yams: "There sure is."
OMG! This is the exhaust I got for Christmas, but still haven't installed. Maybe this is good enough direction for me to install my own?
why do you downshift and shift in general so aggressively?
I don't remeber the last time papa yam has been this happy. Our father is well pleased boys
What's evem more crazy is that you can make the FZO7 into a type of adv bike now jake the garden snake is doing a build on it.
For anyone who finds this video in 2023... Yes, the leovince system still sounds just as amazing on facelift models
I'm new to this channel and looking forward to riding in the future. instantly one of my favorite UA-camrs!
I love your reaction 🤣👍 I have a full black widow on my 07 without the fun plug.,.... Gotta get an ECU flash to fully release her potential 😉
With the stock exhaust, the time between the twist of the throttle and the bike actually revving seems longer than with an aftermarket exhaust, can someone confirm that with a new exhaust, throttle response is improved?
What's on the bar ends..? Reflectors?
Ive got an fz-07 with the m4 slip-on. Trust me it sounds fucking amazing. For only $405 it’s definitely worth it and reviews say so as well on em.
No straight pipe sound check
What a disappointment
Sounds great !! But it would probably sound even better when rode properly all the way to the redline and not with just half of revs 😂
Personally, I think Termignoni has the best sounding exhaust for the FZ / MT 07.
The inner squid is slowly coming out.. do as papa says not as papa do lol
Your video is on point! Even in 2024. With an aftermarket exhaust it’s like a different bike. 👍
11:35 is that at the shops at legacy?
sounds a lot better than a lot of pipes I have heard.
its hard not to be a douche when you get a good sounding, loud ass exhaust on this bike
12:52 Did you set off a car alarm? 😂
As a wanna be mid 50 yo noob, is this a good beginner bike for me? If not what's your recommendation? Thanks!!
I love my mt-07. Damn, it looks good in red!
Good to see the ole Yam back on the bike
Yam the sound is it with or without db-killer?
The tone pretty much doesnt change. Its just louder without the db killer.
@@Chris-yy7qc that is not what im asking, if there isn't one in the exhaust maybe he could use one so the sound is less loud
Yammie, for that exhaust, did you need to tune the bike or did you leave it as is?
Slip ons are better for a street bike, they cost less and you don't lose torque in favor of top end HP.
Is this exhaust louder than the Akrapovic? They both sound ridiculously loud
I think I will go for a Toce exhaust when I buy one.
PS: Would you consider putting a turbo on it?
Toce are insane for this bike! great choice
I didn't like the FZ-07 before I saw this video! Pure sound!
Without the silencer it sounds like a monster 600 with bos exhaust
That's a sexy bike. Saving up for my first one. Looking at getting an MT 125. Love the design. Can't afford a new one 😂 getting an older one. Good vid anyway
Did you also put in a power commander?
lol did you hear the guy as you where coming out of the car park? he went "woooo" at 12:29 XD great vid btw
Quick question your bike build give aways are they only for people in USA?? Or international followers aswell...🤔
Ive never heard yammie give a bike higher praise
Won’t it need an ECU flash since you put on a full system?
The Ninja II exhaust on my Scooby '05 used to set off car alarms in car parks as well LOL!
12:20 that's why in the netherlands and germany, nice riding roads are starting to be closed off for motorcycles... Take care that the same is not gonna happen in your country.
What's the legality about full systems in the us? Would love to throw one on but I feel like it's not legal
That opening laugh was so funny lol I live vicariously thru you my good papa Yam (weird calling you papa, when I'm older than you) lol
This exhaust vs SC project though??
Did he set off that car alarm at 12:50?
I hope your garage door is open when you're turning on the bike inside man. Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Keep up the great vids :* !!!
Did you have to tune it once you installed the exhaust?
Whats the black thing on the middle of the tank?
which full system model is this from LeoVince ? its awesome
I hooligan mine all the time. LOVE the MT07. Had a ride on a RSV4 the other day and that blew my panties off however.....
does the exhaust making a snap crackle and pop sound as well?
What’s the model number for this exhaust I’m having a hard time finding it?
Sorry to break it to you but that exhaust did not wake up the power in the bike. You need a tune and some intake first. If anything it’s probably running a little leaner
It is not too loud
My RSV is too loud clocked @ 132,6 DB. It sets off car alarms with eas.
I don't dare take it into a parking garage
What do you have done to the headlights?
i just took my test this past weekend and have decided on either an sv650 or an fz07. This must be a sign.
Nice to see you back on the saddle, ride safe and ride smart!
