This seems to be an atypical company. Here's a quote from an Estonian online sports article: "What makes Pafi different from other gaming environments is that all the profits are donated to charity. Paf is owned by the municipality of Åland, which has decided to return the money earned to society - to sports, culture and the social sector"
Anything that helps Kristin, I am happy about. I’m still not a fan of the gambling company, but if they want to give their money to someone I am a big fan of, great! 👍
As long as it is legal, a person can gamble responsibly and have fun, which seldom leads to an addiction. She has always done things quite professionally, and seems she and her team would think this through. Do you have any numbers on her contract- years/$$ ? It is likely a sound business decision, especially if this deal is in addition to her Lat64 contract. She sure looks happy in the picture at 0:22 .
Unless this is sports betting, which It's doesn't look like that, then more power to her. I don't like betting so it doesn't help her image to me... but I will still follow and cheer her on.
Shes a professional athlete. She makes money by doing sports. Disc golf winnings is paying her dog water. Stop complaining about other companies seeing value her and shes taking the opportunity. 🤡
Stop repeating this nonsense. Absolutely nothing controversial about normal company sponsoring a top level athlete. Only weird os USA and their relationship with their gambling
If it isn’t her promoting it beomeone else will. So it’s not like if she didn’t promote the gambling scene would die…it’s an opp for her to make money, and I too would take on sponsors like that if I was a pro…
Great now we’ll have to hear Brody smith talk about this for 3+ hours
It’s on in the background when your mom comes over. Tell her I said hi
Draft kings has been/is a sponsor of Foundation podcasts. This isn't much different.
@@zachgilchrist669yeah which is great. This guy made it seem like she got a fentanyl sponsor. It’s not controversial at all

They gave her 200 free coins with her first bet
🤣
New sponsors in the game, it's getting more attention and hope we keep seeing new sponsors popping up.
Gambling is part of all sports. It’s literally The reason we started to compete as a species.
Was that Dolph Lundgren!! j/k Yeah, it's not the best look to be sponsored by a casino. That's like being sponsored by a cigarettes brand.
I don't like it at all. I hope she got a great deal though, for it to be worth it.
Big thing to note that Kristin will need to remove all PAF logos etc. if and when she plays in Finland or face a fine for breaking gambling ad laws

What id like to see is more promotion of the sport to minorities. Thats how you get the sport to grow. It’s still predominately white.
