Anyone that has question I have done this before, you need to set of keys to reprogram a third key, you put your first key in the ignition and switch to on but don’t start the engine, you wait until the red dot on the right side of the dash stops blinking and you turn of the car and put in the second key and repeat the same step, you should get the message that “programming active” or something along the lines, at that step you remove the second key and put in the new key you want programmed same step you don’t start engine, you keep it in for about 10-20 second, should give a message and the red dot should stop blinking, to test if this works try unlocking and locking the doors with the new key fob! I’m sure this works for most jeep models
This video (over a decade old now) was meant to show the error message when attempting to program keys, and was posted to jeeps unlimited. People trying to use this as an "informative" video and being mad make me laugh. I even included a question in the description. The end result was to buy a new key from the dealer as you cannot program a new key with only one valid key. Not that it matters as I haven't owned this jeep for while now.
Most of the uncut keys on ebay do specify that you DO NEED to get it programmed by a professional. I just looked at a few selling just now each one will say same thing. I would advise you to do what most of these are stating to do.
Frank Sass then..and you just nref to go pay the money get a legit key. I don't get why people.try to go so cheap on your truck. Take care of it. it'll take care of you buy USA not china or Mexico
If you only have one working key then why can't u use the good key twice when prompted to insert second key or would that be to simple iam sure . So the essay way get a pare of keys From Amazon have cut the call lock Smith about 100.00 bucks ".

I think that you need push any button of the key... Maybe the programation is similar to the Ford pickups...
