Outstanding feeding vid and collection 👍👍 I subbed, great work!
great job .
Really good quality feeding videos.
Actually my favorite feeding videos on UA-cam. Thanks for that! Keep em coming!
The next one will be even better. I got a bunch of new spiders. Video coming soon.
excellent video
The Spider at 5:52 is awesome! The camera angle adds a lot as well, but I just love how calm the spider is fetching its meal.
Awesome vids, high quality, nice and fast: keep it up!
Nice vid, thanks for sharing :)
three years. no dislike. good job! lolz
Caribena versicolor never dissapoints.
amazing stuff man, ur quality is out of this word. i hope u upload often.
What substrate are your Neoholothele inceis on?
Peat.
Great video, beautifully shot as always. Thanks. :)
4:34 That was quick, I didn't even get a chance to blink lol.
She's surprisingly fast with her attacks. My Acanthoscurria brocklehursti is extremely quick too.
Awesome feeding video and great quality video. Cheers mate!
Excellent video. How often do you feed these guys? They seem like they are great eaters!!
I feed based on abdomen size. If they're looking skinny, I'll toss in a roach.
2:10 LOL
You literally have the best quality of feeding videos on all youtube huge like for that
Thanks!
Greg Rice no problem, i watched your videos for a couple hours today, they are amazing
It really is stellar, nice job.
@@GregRiceTarantulas my p. Scroffa just molted for the 1st time in 4 years.
@@joshuahull9982 It's been about 3.5 years since the female featured here last molted.
Great Footage! Do you collect lots of feeding footage and release it in one batch or are these all from the same round of feeding? I only have 6 Ts so it's hard to get enough/high enough quality footage to put together a video.
I shoot video as I feed over the months between feeding video releases, then compile everything into one video.
I don't have any, but may have a lifestyle change coming in January at which time I might like to get a Brachypelma Smithi. Is that a good beginner species?
It's a great beginner species
i really wish i was one of these roaches.
why
Wtf!!! Why dude???
Are they Dubia roaches or what they call "Red Runners" ?
I believe everyone in this video got Blaptica dubia roaches. "Red runners" are Blatta lateralis.
Greg Rice Thanks for the info. I plan on getting some.
Dubia are great feeders. They like to hide and burrow into the soil unless you squash their heads first. Supposedly if you pull off their front two legs, they won't burrow at all.
Greg Rice That's good to know. Or just feed them when my animals are really hungry and aggressive.
How many spiders do you have?
I have some at the moment that belong to other people. My personal collection stands at 123.
Greg Rice Wow, that's amazing. Are you planning on keeping other invertebrates as well? Great video btw.
In fact, I do! Got a new arachnid a couple weeks ago. I'll introduce her in an upcoming video.
Greg Rice Looking forward to it :)
where do you get your tarantulas?
I get a lot of my spiders by trading adult males for random spiderlings. I usually get a large influx in late July from the American Tarantula Society Conference in Tucson, AZ, and I've bought a few off craigslist.
I'd love to see the ATS conference, however driving from north Utah to Tucson AZ is a bit much. That is about how I've gotten most of mine as well, I just trade 1 adult male P. Ornate for 3 OBT slings...One can never have enough OBTs.
Greg Rice Be careful with that Stromatopelma calceatum. I got bit last June by a 7 inch female and ended up in the hospital on morphine for 12 hours. I continued to have the worst muscle cramps in my life for a month afterwards.
How often do you feed them the bugs?
how do you clean the cages??
I spot clean unless the situation warrants otherwise. Just pick out the bolus (leftover food) and wipe off their poop with a damp napkin. Only if you discover a mite infestation or excessive mold should you replace the substrate and wash/ replace decorations/hides.
